A couple of critical early supporters are moving on to other projects. I believe it's likely this project will stop soon. Debitcoin is decentralized P2P software, it will exist if people want it to, but there hasn't been enough adoption. It's OK, there are a lot of great projects going, thanks to all who supported DBTC.

Hello NCM,
Thank you for the heads up and most important for being honest and coming to us with this news. There is a lot of coins out there where the Dev's just completely disappear and never reach out to coin/token holders. Now I do have a question... Suppose that DBTC someday shot through roof to, lets say, $8.00 a coin or more. Would Dev's come back or would a new team take over the coin to make it better?

Yes, all things are possible and anyone can do work or promote DBTC. For instance, the current website or Android wallet could go offline, but anyone could build another. I just wanted to give a status update as I see it. Thanks

I appreciate you responding. I personally believe that DBTC is not even close to dead. This coin will Survive & Thrive!!! Come back and read this message in about 12-24 months and you will see...

How about adding Bitcore (BTX)? The BTX is considered by some as the most clever Bitcoin fork and it's been around since April 2017, which is a lot longer than Bitcoin Cash.

GCN is a good fit with DOGE as a pair, but a problem is most of the major, popular exchanges don't offer DOGE pairs.
A 1000:1 swap would be beneficial to up the value and stand tall with a BTC pair, but I'm sure that's not in the cards.
We need an exchange like Bleutrade was in 2014-15.

I 100% Agree!!! Bleutrade is pretty good and up and coming. KuCoin is also a young & hot exchange that is quickly gaining popularity!!!
I really do hope this exchange issue gets handled by end of 1st Quarter.

Most exchanges are under pressure and are not looking for more traffic until they adjust their systems.

That's a bummer... Well coinhitex @ https://coinhitex.com/ looks very good and based on reviews it is a promising exchange. I don't know much about OpenLedger but at this moment GCN must make a move towards the first "Decent" or "Better" exchange that will open their doors and help GCN reach THE MOON!!!!

Greg - I was finally able to download the Old Wallet without a single problem but like "BuyOnTop" said...it is very wise to update the new wallet because there will be a lot of newbies who will freak out and leave your website because of the fear of catching a virus. Besides that; I must say, I am very happy with my first purchase og "GCoin" and I am looking forward to buy a whole lot more before Gcoin takes off.... I have a strong feeling about this coin and the projects it has, especially "GCAR".

Someone please fix (disinfect) the GCN wallet. I just tried downloading the Windows Wallet to my PC and my antivirus caught a virus (Malware) Thank GOD!!!

There is no virus. The code is open source so anyone can check it

I expierenced the same problem. Newbies like me don't download some older version on some github source code. You should fix this asap I think. Crypto is indeed mainstream now, but mainstream folks shit in their pants when the virusscanner goes crazy and will leave GCN because of it.

I agree - There has to be a fixed. Malware Virus are not necessarily your best friend and I keep my computer very clean. Matter of fact...now that I think about it. I have downloaded 3 other wallets. 1. HTML5 2. PAC. 3. Etherwallet and I have never seen this MALWARE VIRUS pop up on my computer. Something does not sound right.... Please explain why I should go against my doubt and why GCN wallets can't get fixed??? Below you will find the meaning of MALWARE and why it should not be taken lightly.

"Malware" is short for malicious software and used as a single term to refer to virus, spy ware, worm etc. Malware is designed to cause damage to a stand alone computer or a networked pc. So wherever a malware term is used it means a program which is designed to damage your computer it may be a virus, worm or Trojan.
