Wow that's a blast from the past, I have not followed FCK for a very long time.
I guess I'm going to dust off the old wallet and see if I can connect (used to run a full node...)

Thanks for the work!

ETN is back to CryptoNight
Not sure the pool is up to date

https://twitter.com/electroneum/status/1014261341580820481

There is an announcement on the main MPH page that ETN is back to CN, however ETN withdrawals are currently disabled.  I assume MPH is updated but I would wait a day to see.

how did you set up your miner Undecided

stratum+tcp://us-east.cryptonight-hub.miningpoolhub.com:20596
chunry.chunry
x

That's my configuration but antminer says pool is dead, i've tried all servers not only us-east.

please help me.

That's exactly how my miner is setup (also using us-east) and it is hashing at full speed.  As long as you use your registered name it should work.  Worker's name can be anything, and as far as I understand you don't need to create worker manually unless you want to, pool will add worker automatically based on your config (whatever you use after dot).

Has anybody tried to withdraw Electroneum (ETN)?

I'm mining it for about a day and having trouble setting up withdrawal address using Cryptopia wallet.

Also Electroneum transaction seems to requre "Payment ID" which I don't see a space to enter on MPH wallet/withdrawal page.

EDIT: Figured it out, it's on the ETN pool starting/news page:
Quote
paymentID: There are two cases.

First, when exchange site provides your paymentID: put your "address.paymentID" in a line.
Your coins would not be confirmed from your exchange site otherwise.

Second, local wallet or you don't need to put any paymentID. : Just input your wallet address only.

So both ETN address and paymentID need to go into the same field separated by dot.

Wallet on my computer that used to run FCK is connected to 1-2 nodes right now.  Block height is 617445, much higher than the one on coincave.nl pool.  Unless I misunderstand something...  Not sure at this point what the most recent blockchain is, a bit afraid to reset mine to zero.  Client database folder has only three blockchain files, the latest dated October 2015, no new blocks since then.

Holy FCK!  Re-starting my wallet, let's see if something is still alive.  Might even dust off Gridseed Orb for the occasion.

what's up in China ?  Grin
btc38 will close BTC market soon and move all coins in CNY market
is this a reason to skyrocket ? or something else ?

I'm curious too.  Just logged to btc38 today and saw that several days ago MED/BTC price jumped almost six times compared to previous average level.  Cooled down a bit, still about 4 times higher than before.  My investment in AntMiners U1 paid off probably hundred-fold  Grin

Too bad I had to re-sync wallet after upgrade, cannot sell anything at the moment.

Did not see any announcements posted  Huh but my wallet started complaining that I'm using an old version (0.8.6.2).

Announcement post still lists 0.8.6.3-mark3 as the current version, and it is available from "start using MED" coin web site page.

Lo and behold, http://www.mediterraneancoin.org/home-1.html has a link to a newer version:
https://github.com/mrtexaznl/mediterraneancoin/releases/download/v0.8.7.3/medcoin-win32-v0.8.7.3.zip

I can't for the life of me find the config file for the walled to addnodes.  Can someone please help?

If you are on Windows, the file is in your user's AppData folder, usually "C:\Users\<>\AppData\Roaming\mediterraneancoin"

You can open folder by using Windows start menu and typing %appdata% (including percent signs) which will open file explorer on default AppData folder, and then going into "mediterraneancoin" folder.

Config file name is "mediterraneancoin.conf".  If file does not exist, create new text file, rename it (including extension, Windows will complain, say yes), and paste the "addnode" lines.  Save config file and restart wallet.  When it starts to sync, it may take quite a while to load two years of blockchain.

Sorry I don't know where the config file is on Linux, should be somewhere in your user's home folder too.

My wallet is also not updating.  I tried copy/pasting all of the addnode commands above but each one gets error: Method not found (code -32601)

Network is active, I have 20 connections right now (there are many duplicate IPs with different ports).  Are you adding "addnode=" command to mediterraneancoin.conf config file?

Also I think port is redundant (and reported ports change, I guess due to NAT), so add just IP addresses.

Here is my current list of unique peers:
addnode=5.189.187.91
addnode=84.22.27.99
addnode=85.25.19.187
addnode=94.156.77.93
addnode=115.28.162.110
addnode=115.28.200.229
addnode=120.236.40.117
addnode=211.149.195.13
addnode=211.149.213.86
addnode=218.16.254.204

I've re-added this list to my mediterraneancoin.conf file and restarted MED wallet, and immediately got a whole bunch of connections to the MED network.

Could someone please post current list of active nodes?

My QT wallet client for some reason cannot connect to the MED network for over two weeks now, no changes on my side (client or network configuration...)

I've added nodes listed on http://www.mediterraneancoin.org/ (node1.mediterraneancoin.org, node2..., node3..., node4...) to config and it didn't help.

Thanks!
addnode=85.25.19.187:9373
addnode=94.156.77.93:9373
addnode=115.28.200.229:9373
addnode=218.16.254.206:9373

Thanks!  Synchronizing now, connected to only two peers but that's a start!

Im still mining MED, finally i succed on p2pool mining on windows if anyone want to left that crapy chinese pool i can explain hoy to mine this on p2pool. i set up a pair of U2+ and waiting for a U3+, i think i can do a good solo mining with more than 60Ghs

Now the hasrate of the net is half than normal on mid-2014 and the price of MED is barely high, its a good time for mining MED again

Anyone is mining MED?

I'm still mining with several antminer sticks and about 15Gh/s.  Steady and slow wins the race Wink

I checked price on Cryptsy, and last year (at least since August 2014) it was hovering in 300-500 range, so I think prices actually higher now (routinely selling into 600-700 range, and there was a recent spike over 1000)

Please post p2pool information, appreciate it.

revival ? Smiley
Yes, it's all in the making Smiley

In the making for long? I'm still waiting.

Don't wait, restart your wallet, restart your miner.

Stronger network -> more chances of something happening.

ok, let's give this another try for reviving the coin Smiley As stated before I'm not a developer but a community member like most of us here. I did make some minor changes in the past to add a few checkpoints.

This is what I can give you for now:

NOMP mining pool at http://coincave.eu

Working blockexplorer at http://87.209.206.80:2760

Sourcecode https://github.com/fckfoundation/fckbankscoin

Windows Wallet V1.1.1.0 https://github.com/Spekske/fckbankscoin/releases

2 working nodes to put in your fckbankscoin.conf file:

addnode=87.209.206.80
addnode=85.214.89.85

Everything else will have to be done by the community if we want to get this going Smiley

Can confirm that the network is alive again, just restarted wallet, and solo miner, blocks are being found.

Didn't solo-mine since last October, reward halved twice since then, 3125 now (was 12500 in October).

The site just kind of went down a month ago and the twitter has been silent. Anyone know what happened? I had some coins on there :/

There was a user who manipulated his own balances and stole some coins. Everything is offline during the investigation. The new thread where updates will be posted is https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=977290.new#new

Also, don't pay attention to mneehon. He is one of the troublesome ones from the original thread, as well as one of the reasons that thread is now locked.

Really?  I mean, REALLY?  I was asking specific questions, and you were most of the time either not answering them, or giving me a runaround.  I thanked you when you gave a real answer (once or twice).  I never said anything rude to you.  As for sarcasm, that's expected when CryptoRush promises something and cannot deliver for a year (and now more than a year and site is down for over a month, such security.)
