Long time no see again!

After a long bitcoin hiatus I'm back just in time for some all time highs!

Just a refresher my name is Mich. I have been in and out of the bitcoin space since early 2013. I am a designer and multimedia specialist with experience in video, photography and animation. If you are working on a project and need someone who can focus on the logo design, visual branding and introduction videos, I am someone who can work along with you to create an amazing first impression for your project. Bitcoin is definitely facing problems right now, and Ethereum is the hot new thing. I think Ethereum could easily establish itself as the second place crypto, and until the Bitcoin community finds some sort of plan to progress and evolve past the blocksize issue, the number 2 crypto can slowly take momentum away from #1.  I don't see any crypto eclipsing Bitcoin anytime soon, but I do see room for Ethereum to continue to expand it's lead over other alts in terms of capability and popularity.

I think a child board within project developments is the best option. This isn't another alt currency. It is actually something that progresses bitcoin and is a huge promoter of projects. I think that's a fair spot to put it and it leaves space for more child boards dedicated to colored coins and bitshares. I think all these projects are pretty important and deserve a place here.

I think a Sub Board would be best. It would keep the community here, make it easier to follow developments, and organize existing sub threads a little.

Cool stuff! I'm very impressed with her animations. They are awesome.

Definitely going to check this out. Will probably order something in the near future!

I'm on the fence with the "build it before we paint it" view.

I agree that there is absolutely no point to marketing unless Mastercoin is worth marketing for. But certain things like logos and explainer videos can be helpful as long as they are targeting the right people. Specifically- developers who can build great things around this project. Plus, they can be worked on simultaneously by those who aren't developers (designers, etc.) So I would say at this point, some marketing can be helpful and won't be taking away from the main goal.

I'm a graphic designer, so my MO is to jump in when I think I'll be helpful, and then get out of the way asap.

I think, the biggest issue with marketing is making sure

1. It doesn't get ahead of itself. It should be appropriate for whatever stage Mastercoin is at. It needs to take the backseat.

and

2. It's factual- There is good communication between the developers and anyone who wants to 'spread the word' so there are less headaches.

I'm cross posting this from the giveaway thread so everyone can have access to it. If anyone who is running the wiki or mastercoin related sites want a file in specific dimensions/formats, lemme know and I'll send them to you.
