I think it also depends how you consider "tokens", now many ICO want to sell as many tokens as possible, to earn money.
But if you consider tokens more like shares, so - parts of company - then 30% of course doesn't look a lot.

The tokens are not only a fund raising mechanism, but also inherent in the use of the system. In the end most of the supply will be circulating...

Are you not reserving a bit too many of the tokens to founders - team - etc. ?
The foundation/corporation tokens will be used up over time. They're not reserved. The founder/employee tokens represent 30% of the total and are released over 3 years. I don't think it's too much to have 30% of the outstanding total go to those who risk their time, effort and passion for the this ideal.
The project is kinda intriguing. This will lessen rogue journalists to bits and pieces. As we all know most of them love to sensationalise by giving facts a twist to make news better or worse.Thus it became fake news all the while. So this project may hit bumps on the road.
Why bumps? Fake news is fake news, whether mainstream or clickbait.

Great idea and noble intentions! But the mass media market is sooo huge and powerful, are you sure you have enough sources and power to undermine it? Are you ready to face restraint from some mass media giants? And that's not only about mass media that's also about whole governments who are not really willing to give people truth...

Hey Pashu, great question and thank you for asking. Yes, I'm ready. I was born in the USSR and witnessed their propaganda first hand. Imagine my concern and anger when I started to see it in the US.
During the last election cycle 96% of all donations went to 1 candidate. That is NOT unbiased news. 6 corporations own 95% of all US media. THAT is NOT unbiased news. 243 executives control the media stream for 300 million americans. That's one for the size of San Francisco. That is not UNBIASED news.
And that is why we've designed the system as a DAC, so that we're not the deciders of the truth either. So we can't bias the results ourselves. So that even if threatened, we physically cannot change it. Like Bitcoin. It's the only way this survives long term.
