Re: how to search for a specific person's user profile?

I couldnt find a thread with the phrase "Magic Internet Money" from 2011.  The earliest mention I found was by a user named "n8rwJeTt8TrrLKPa55eU" in this thread.  You might have better luck finding it with the ninjastic.space.

Thanks I saw that thread earlier when I was doing my search, I'm fairly sure that thread was made after skeletor first said magic internet money in another thread. This is so weird, the old thread might have been deleted or possibly skeletors old comment got deleted and their account wiped. Why would either of those things happen? Why would a comment or thread get deleted over a decade later, cause I remember checking the thread last year and seeing it along with skeletors comment. If anyone was around back then they definitely know the thread and comment I'm referring to. maybe a mod can clarify if any of it was deleted.
Following up, you should check the new beta for the ninjastic.space website instead. There is a page where you can search an user with auto complete suggestions, so you might find their profile more easily if they have at least 1 post on the archive:

https://beta.ninjastic.space/users

This is a great site, nice work in building it. Unfortunately I'm still not able to find the user or post I'm searching for. I'm certain they made the post in 2011 and said "magic internet money" but I can't find the post from that user or even that user at all no matter how much I search. It's extremely odd.

Cause otherwise it looks like the account was wiped and had the join date changed too a later date which would just be weird.
AFAICR, there have been no cases that led to changes in the registration date, so it must be another user... On the same thread that @Stalker22 mentioned earlier, @FreeMoney was actually the first person to mention "magic internet money".
- In addition to that, another old user (@Otoh) who's still somewhat active mentioned him/her on another old post: Famous quotes about bitcoin?

Or maybe they spelt their skeletor username a bit differently and that’s why it isn’t coming up. I think instead of searching for the username skeletor since maybe it was spelt differently we could look for the first instance of “magic Internet money” on bitcointalk. I saw that thread you posted earlier from 2012 but I’m fairly certain that thread isn’t the first time it was said. I remember someone saying “‘magic Internet money” on this thread from 2011 https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=28741.0 but the comment is no longer there. I’m fairly sure it was that thread but I could have been another thread from 2011. It’s likely that thread I just linked though and also they reference that same 2011 thread in the 2013 thread where they poll for different bitcoin slogan ideas https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=146806.0 which sort of validates my memory that the first instance of someone saying “magic Internet money” on bitcointalk was in that 2011 thread. I’m certain someone first said magic Internet money in that 2011 thread or another thread from 2011. I feel like I’m going crazy lol cause I’m so sure if it but the comment is no longer there or maybe it’s the wrong 2011 thread I’m looking at. Either way I want to find the comment from 2011 that first said magic Internet money.

I found this thread from 2013 but I don't see a skeltor. This is the only slogan thread I found.

In the thread you posted the OP linked to another thread from 2 years earlier in 2011 where people were giving Bitcoin slogan ideas https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=46247.0 But Slogan and Magic Internet Money aren't in that thread. I remember skeletor was the first on bitcointalk to give magic internet money as the Bitcoin slogan idea but his comment is nowhere to be found now. I saw that 2011 thread I linked earlier before I posted this thread and since skeletor wasn't in that thread I was thinking there's another 2011 thread that I can't find. It's just weird, could the account have been wiped or something? Maybe skeletor is the wrong username and it's typed differently, that's the only thing that could make sense. Cause otherwise it looks like the account was wiped and had the join date changed too a later date which would just be weird. And either way I can't find the original comment where "magic internet money" was first used on Bitcoin talk for the Bitcoin slogan idea. It's a very important comment and post in bitcointalk history so I hope we can find it.

The easiest way IMO is to go to bpip.org and type the name in the search bar. Then if the name exists there's a button that says view profile, click that and it takes you to the profile.

The specific profile you mentioned is a newbie account with 0 posts. There are numerous profiles with the name and some other characters.

They're not a newbie though, skeleton is the user that came up with the "magic internet money" slogan. There was a bitcointalk thread back in 2011 I think asking people for slogan ideas for Bitcoin. Then skeletor said magic internet money. That's the thread I'm trying to find and the comment where he said magic internet money but I can't find the thread anymore. Maybe I'm misremembering the way the username is spelt? I was fairly certain it was spelt skeletor but maybe it used different spelling. It's weird that when I go to the skeletor profile it shows no activity. Does anyone remember the thread I'm talking about the username of the person that left that comment?

I haven't used bitcointalk in a long time, I was trying to Google an old thread but it wasn't coming up. I thought the forum's search function would show it because maybe Google isn't scraping everything so I made a new account but even when I search for it with the forum search function it still isn't coming up. I tried searching the person's username instead so maybe I can find the threat that way but that isn't working. I notice people's user profile shows a string of numbers in their profile link instead of their username so maybe I need to know their number string to see their profile? The username of the profile I'm trying to find is "skeletor", so how can I find their user profile?
