How do you quantify over advertising?

Hi Andrea.  Thanks for coming to the thread.

One question I have had for a long time is whether or not you can say you have personally met (face to face and not using video chat) John Carley or anyone else who is a non marketing employee of the company?

I haven't kept up with the discussion in the past few weeks but one thing that never seemed to happen is that the people behind the company (the administrators/programmers/bankrollers) ever had any verifiable presence, just representatives who had never met their employers.  (If this has changed in the past few weeks, please clue me in and I apologize.)  Regardless of whether the company is a ponzi or not this just seems shady, especially considering how long its been going on.

Still getting emails.

Sometimes they come late like yesterday, but eventually all show up.

Can't say I like the deception but it worked out for the best.   Was your grandmother mentally impaired in any way at the time, like the OP?

Yes.  You might trip over some user rights problems, but if they are your usb and harddrives (No other user has protected them) you'll be fine.

There's a couple posts on here discussing it.

Here's the last one, I think.

My shares have all made just under 100% though. 97 - 99.

I've never heard of this guy but it might help if you found some Christian criticism of the guy.  (Criticism from atheists and unbelievers might not go very far.)

There are probably some controversy around the guy and nobody bickers more than the religious so it should be possible to find some criticism somewhere.

Linux game support is growing exponentially ever since about 2010.   Nowadays just about every indie game supports it.

The AAA studios don't always quite yet but since Steam threw its weight behind it even that is changing.
I'm a gamer who switched to Linux and while I have run into some annoyances I haven't been so pissed off that I had to go back.  (My gaming habits have changed a little tho)

I haven't had any issue with electrum in ~6 months of use, but what do you mean by safe?

There is always the possibility of unforseen vulnerabilities.  Heartbleed was a dumb mistake in otherwise quite mature code.

Safety is not guaranteed.

Nobody has a crystal ball.

If you think Bitcoin will have significant price increase soon and will stay up for the majority of the year, buy a mining share.
If you think bitcoin will stay somewhat low in the mid tern, trading shares make more sense.

You can do both by buying trading shares now and if bitcoin goes back up you can buy into the mining pool.  You'll miss a week or so of returns but it if stays up you still win.

I can't advise you on what Bitcoin will do, but I personally haven't bought a mining share since January.

Expired trading shares return to your cash balance, not your ewallet.  So you can withdraw rather than reinvesting.

I have two trading shares expired and another expiring next week.   The two that expired made ~97% and 99%  respectively.
I ended up reinvesting the shares but if I had simply withdrawn them, I would have made a boatload of bitcoin without even counting my returns.

In mid december Bitcoin was over $900, last week under $400.   (Well, not a boatload but x3 return on principal + x1 return of interest is nice anyway you slice it. =D)

Well, I've been doing pretty well.  I have mostly been cashing out since February. (But some reinvestment as well.)

The first mining share I purchased on December 27 reached 100% returns around the end of march.
My first trading share purchased on December 13 and expiring on the 13 of april is currently at ~97.95%  returns.

Currently Taking bets on whether it will make 100% by Friday. =D

Anybody on here have an expired trading share?  Did it make 100%?

Someone else mentioned 'The After'  I'll second it as tracking with your previous interests and being more interesting than The 100.  (Which is just someone trying to make a tv show out of the Hunger Games without a license.)

You also might get something out of Helix. (Also previously mentioned.)

Also if you liked horrible yet somehow sympathetic antiheros like Walter White, I'd recommend 'The Shield'.  It's an older show but it checks out. (Highly underrated.)

Now that you're a representative I suppose it is less revealing but I don't suppose you could manage to meet them at the Toronto Bitcoin expo?

I would really like to hear an in person report from a fellow user.  If anybody else is going to be in the Toronto area, I would love to hear.

Actually walmart has a corporate history of trying to help the ordinary consumer.

Not for altruistic reasons obviously and the net effect of their business practices is certianly debatable whether or not it helps or hinders in the end, but you can see some of this in their recent efforts to provide low cost banking, pharmaceuticals and alternative insurance to their customers.

If bitcoin can actually help lower income types I don't think it's unreasonable that they might try to incorporate something in their financial services.  Of course, bitcoin would have to be of real benefit to their customers and at the current time it isn't.

You are not listed as a representative on the area representatives page.

His email address and referral link are listed under the United States section as Mark Ryan.
Although It's hard to think of someone as a 'representative' whose response to inquiry is to 'contact someone else'.

I asked this a while back this was the response.

1. Once the implementation of the Coindesk price index is done (that can be as soon as tomorrow) deposits and withdrawals will be calculated with the Coindesk index.

2. When calculating the new mining pool conversion rate for March, the Coindesk index history will be used.

The fees, or in other words our profits are already factored into the earnings. At the end of each day, once I get the results from our two traders, I deduct our profit margin before posting the daily earnings.

If you are curious about the percentage, it's 20%. For example, if we realise 1.5% on a certain day, 1.2% will be paid to our members. We will lower the fees and thus increase the daily earnings once we have more volume to trade with.

Please let us know if we can be of further assistance.

With best regards,
John Carley

Thanks for posting that.  I asked similarly back in January and Brandonberg was a little less forthcoming. He said that traders retained a percentage of the daily profits but didn't tell me how much.
