They said that would be removed after it's all said and done. That's what I was told.
Did they say what % of VAT would be deducted? 20% would make a pretty big difference.
Not sure what other people are seeing as the EU price, but I see $3166.67 EU. They *say* thats because of my IP address, its determined that I'm already in the US so that price already had VAT taken off of it. I went to the site logged in under a user account and without and it shows me the same price (which btw, is the $4100 US price).
I'd be really curious what those in the EU see as the price. When I brought up the fact that I wasn't seeing VAT removed, they told me that it already had been. If you know what the EU is seeing for pricing vs. the US price (above), you'll know what the VAT reduction is. Typically it's 20%... (But not in all cases).
Too rich for me at that price... had 20% been taken off that and then promoted to USD, that would have been more reasonable, but it appears the US price (after VAT removal) is $4100.
So, what do people in the EU see for a price?

the onda d8p does have a msata slot. but it does have two regular sata ports so youre good with your choice. i like the msata because its 2 less cables and one less thing to mount.
I replaced that with http://www.corsair.com/en-us/force-series-ls-120gb-sata-3-6gb-s-ssd-b because the Samsung one was not new.
I finally pressed the checkout button and made the order. Ordered all the above plus added a preorder for 4 x evga 1080ti SC. Order was accepted but I wasn't charged yet, hope they will accept the credit card

The AX1200i is a bit of a pain in the ass with regards to cabling. It comes with two double headers and four single headers. While this is 8 PCIE total, it uses up six of that PSU's 8-pin sockets, when it could be 4. Not a problem for a 1080ti rig, but a real pain for 1070/ti rigs.
PS: EVGA SC BLACK is my favorite 1080ti - low heat, high hash, low power and a very small footprint.

Ati primit aparatele? As vrea si eu sa comand un S9 dar am citit multe review uri negative despre bitmain. Ca supportul e foarte slab spre inexistent, ca au primit aparatul si sursa in livrari diferite, etc. Voi ce experiente ati avut cu ei? Au livrat la timp? A gost totul ok? Ati avut probleme cu aparatele, le ati primit folosite ssau stricate?

Primit si eu mesaj azi de la Bitmain ca au trimis.

Din pacate nu pot sa-ti zic mai multe. Chiar asa i-am zis, sa incerce sa-l incadreze la 8471XX pt ca nu am stiut la ce s-ar potrivi mai bine. Si nici nu stiu daca nu am avut de platit vama din cauza mailului meu sau nu (nu am primit raspuns la acel mail).
Edit: de fapt o sa ma uit pe hartii, ca-s tot acolo, lipite de cutie. Poate e trecut ceva.

Vesti... Confirm ca e adevarat ce mi s-a spus la telefon de doamna draguta de la UPS, am platit cash la curier doar TVA, fara niciun comision pt UPS. Nici taxe vamale nu mi s-au impus dar poate pt ca i-am rugat pe cei de la UPS sa incerce sa-l incadreze la cod de marfa 8471XX (nu stiu exact subcategoria).
Deci total de plata 146 ron pt sursa + 1090 pt S9.
In momentul asta sunt foarte multumit de serviciul UPS. Pacat ca aproape s-a dublat costul de transport pt comenzile viitoare de S9/surse (batchurile dupa ianuarie 2018 inclusiv). Imi amintesc ca era peste 400$ transportul la s9+sursa batch 21-30 jan.

Astazi au fost livrate sursa si S9 in 2 colete separate pt comanda din batch 21-30 Nov. Data de livrare estimata de UPS este 5 dec (banuiesc ca e data de intrare in tara).
Cum adica au fost livrate (eu prin livrare inteleg ca au ajuns la tine)?

Eu am dat ticket la bitmain ca vreau factura in USD si mi-au raspuns dupa o saptamana spunand ca o sa trimita cand dau "shipped ".

Notificarea e pe mail, primesti tracking numbers si facturi separate pt fiecare colet, cu pret in USD (e trecut si pretul de transport).Azi dimineata au ajuns in vama iar dupamasa am primit un sms de la UPS prin care imi cer dovada platii, copie CI pt vamuire. Am trimis CI, facturile de mai sus si am dat fwd la mailul de "Bitmain order paid". Deocamdata iar astept, am incercat sa-i sun sa aflu daca au ajuns la ei "hartiile" sau daca le mai trebuie altceva dar nu-mi raspunde nimeni.

Inca nu am primit, livrarea estimata pt prima comanda e 21-30 Nov, deci inca e in grafic. Nu pot sa-ti zic nimic despre bitmain pt ca am facut doar 2 ordere la ei si deocamdata astept. Din cate am citit e adevarat ca suportul e slab si au avut ceva probleme cu stocul de surse in ultima vreme si e posibil sa-ti trimita minerii fara surse si sa nu-i poti folosi. Eu o sa scriu aici cand o sa faca livrarea si toti pasii pe care-i fac cu UPS si daca am primit sau nu sursa deodata cu S9. Din pacate e cam singurul producator de mineri (eficienti) si trebuie sa-l suportam asa rau cum e
