Has anyone tried just direct connecting the cube to a laptop via Ethernet?  What kind of settings are required to make this work over WiFi?  Thanks! 

I believe it is a network issue.  Trying to connect direct to the motherboard via ethernet will require me to share my internet from the WI-FI card to the ethernet ports.  Figuring that out is the hard part.

Merry Christmas everyone!  I got a quick question for everyone.  I planned on leaving my desktop on at home running while I am away.  Am I able to hook up my ASICMiner Cube to my desktop via Ethernet and run my proxy through Wi-Fi?  If so, what settings do i need to change.  I have been trying for quite some time to make this work.  Thank you!

Awesome!  Are they are special settings needed to do this?  I have been working on it for a day and still nothing. 

I just see no difference in a raspberry pi if it can do it through Ethernet and a wireless dongle compared to mine.

A bridge might be the way to go.  I think I would like to do it on my desktop while I am gone.  I have a wireless card in my desktop as well as 2 Ethernet ports on the motherboard.  Any way of making that work?

Can I hook up my ASICMiner Cube to my laptop via ethernet and still mine with the connection being through Wi-Fi?  Been messing around with the settings and ports and have had no luck.  All the forums and set-up guides have it connected through a router.  Unfortunately, I cannot do this for the router is not in my place.  Thank you for the help!
