I would expect with the current surge we'll see new ASICs for a bunch of coins... there's just not a lot happening in the scrypt space it seems...

Available scrypt / LTC ASIC miners

Hi all,
Looking for an upgrade to my L3+ miners (eg. more efficient) but cannot find any suitable replacements. There seems to be Bitmain's L5 which I have yet to encounter and the Innosilcon A6 and A6+. Both no longer available new. The A6+ should be a decent replacement but in low supply. Also quality seems to be "not great".
Any developments of new ASICs on the horizon that I should be on the lookout for?
With the swap from HTML5 to the new HTMLCOIN over/finished, nobody should be mining the old HTML5 anymore (it's a dead project). Because of that I have killed the classic.moopool.nl mining pool.
Does anyone have an invite link for the discord channel? The one on MN is not working anymore.
How do you add additional transactions to an existing Masternode? Eg. how do you go from a 2.5k to a 5k node?
edit: never mind, found all of the answers a few pages back

Wanted to start a master node for this project but there are some weird elements to it... For one, you cannot withdraw any coins from Crypto-Bridge. Current Masternodes must belong to early holders of the coin. Anyway, moving on to something else ;-)
comment from Crypto-Bridge: VIZZ deposits and withdrawals disabled while their development team works on a chain fix. Please be patient, we will update when its live again

Re: Gigabyte-GA-H110-D3A Mining board SUCKS! Can't get 6gpu up and running

This board is driving me nuts! I had big problems getting just 2x ZOTAC 1080GTX to run,but managed in the end by putting them in specific PCI slots. Now I have a extra 4 cards, but I never get more than 4 recognized (most of the time I get just 3).
Tried all the tips, running latest F25 BIOS. I need to enable CSM or my SSD will not boot on the SATA port.
Will sell the full rig out of frustration soon, but before I do, any final clues?
guys. where to download the wallet? and which coin is now valid? HTML or HTML5 which miner to use? where is it traded?
HTML is a new coin. where to get it?
HTML5 is the "old" coin, it's basically dead and abandoned (limited support by the new htmlcoin team). The only reason you should be interested in the old HTML5 is that you can swap them for htmlcoin for the next few weeks (see htmlcoin website). This means you can mine the old HTML5 using your X15 miner, and get nice and shiny new coins for it (until the swap window is over). You would need a 1.3 wallet, which are hard to find as the download links disappeared (which is probably a good thing).
htmlcoin is on a number of exchanges (see their thread or website) where you can buy them. Download the 2.x wallet from the website!
Hi community, I turn to you as I need some help if possible. I have an Antimner a3 and one of the boards is not working. Tried changing power, moving back and forth but always the one in the middle (board 2) do not work. Tried booting the Antimner only with it connected also did not work. Sometimes the board will not show at all, sometimes (when I lower to 550 )will show with few Asics but all XXXX XXXXXXXX. Tried factory reset few times, tried power off/on, restart .... none of it changed anything.
Any ideas if there is any chance I can fix this other then sending back to Bitmain?
p.s. if anyone manages to help me to solve this will permanently mine for you for a day.
I just kept it at 525 for a while and after 20 or so resets (which it does by itself!) it started hashing again. Then kept changing frequencies until it hashed at 600 again. Good now for a day.
Same middle hash board with the lowest number of HW errors and running coolest of 3.
I got the same huge number of errors last night, it correlates with the pool and whole systems hashrate falling off a cliff
This has happened to me a couple of times now and also seems to be at the same time as the other dips in network hashrates
Last night was by far the worse, since this event my miner has run again perfectly for around 8 hours, with few errors
I have always had my miner running at 400 to 500 since new,
Neo-geo, did you get this issue last night or were you somehow immune
cheers
Sorry for repost, but we have so many A3 threads (hey mods! unify threads! )
For those interested in A3s (all of them) dropping hashrate at the same time, in all pools, there is a channel discussing that in the unofficial sia discord (https://discord.gg/EVn3HPK). So far the theory is that is caused by some blocks, probably a bug in the A3s. The issue lasts until a block is found and they go back to normal. Boards restart when mining these problematic blocks and fans stay at 100% after that... Very weird.
Very plausible indeed. I can see this in my own hash graph at SiaMining as well. I managed to restart the hashboard that stopped working altogether, but strangeness all around.
My experience with the A3: Total of 4 purchased direct from Bitmain. All are overclocked by +668, running in a 2-car garage with the door closed and zero ventilation, along with 4 other ASICs and 1080 Ti x16 GPUs. Mining non-stop since January 27th with zero reboots, averaging > 900 GH/s per A3. Have no choice but to give it 5/5 stars so far.
Could be because of the clean power: all are fed dedicated 220V 30A, 2 units are using EVGA 1600W T2, rest are on AW3++. Also keep the units low to the ground where the cool air stays, tho the garage stays around 90F+ (outside temps are 50F). Bitmain says operating temps max out at 104F, so fine solution until Spring/Summer.
Haha nice.
My A3's been acting up ever since day one and I think a hashboard just died on me. Temperatures are really low, with the outside cold the chip temps are ±60C. I see spikes in HW errors on all boards (bursts of 10k's of errors, leading to stale/invalid shares, and the one with the least amount of errors just left the building... Weird!

Re: [NEW] Bitmain Announces Antminer A3

I skipped on the D3 so can't comment on that one, but the A3 is by far the worst miner I've ever owned. Runs bloody hot, crashes all the time, hashboards dropping out, etc.
All my S9's have been great, my L3's so-so, but not buying another A3 ever...
Diff is supposed to go down to adjust to 10 min block time
I have no idea why hash rate would go down from 8400 to 7900. Bitmain testing batch 2?
I could make a guess that they put a lot of units online over the weekend for testing. There would be no other reason why the difficulty would keep climbing over late Saturday and all of Sunday. The last of the first batch shipments landed at peoples doors on Friday. Even if a handful were Saturday, no way that justified the levels of difficulty increase that we saw over the weekend. It was parabolic.
That does sound like a reasonable explanation... We're below 1000 Sia a day now... When I started it last Wednesday we were at ~4k/day. Fortunately I just gambled on a single A3 for fun ;-)
edit: All this just makes me love my Baikal Giant more... Cheap, low power and multi-algo!
Looking for a bit of advice. My A3 antminer is only arriving tomorrow-the joys of living on the western edge of Europe!
Now the real pain is that I've found out today that bitmain only dispatched the Apw3++ psu today (despite numerous tickets requesting that both the psu and miner be shipped together). Anyway I'm looking at another 10 days or so before the psu arrives. Not great.
I have a Corsair HX1000i psu (i.e. 1000W) running on my ethereum rig. My question is, would it possible to use this psu on the antminer a3 and underclock the A3 until the Apw++ arrives? Any advice welcome!
Get a compatible PSU from Ebay/Marktplaats/Amazon and sell your new AWP3++ when it arrives?
It's something like 7500 units online at the moment. Total max should be for this batch 11500.
We're fucked by shitmain! I feel their piss on my wounds and that fucking hurts!
For the price of this miner, $50 a day is pretty solid. You'd be hard pressed to put together a GPU miner for that price that could hit similar numbers. I mean surely you didn't expect the $600 / day rate to last very long, especially with how small the global hash rate was.
Agreed. However, I got my miner on Wednesday, which was still a "head start" compared to others and never ever remotely made those daily profits. Maybe $200 in the first 24 hours. When I turned mine on global hash-rate was 900TH or something in that ballpark.
