Cryptocurrencies need decentralized exchanges like the dark ages needed vaccines.
Every person in the crypto community will be uncomfortably familiar with ongoing exchange theft, attack, and fraud.
One in sixteen Bitcoins have been stolen.
As Poloniex demonstrated recently, centralised servers are vulnerable to DDOS attacks, or occasionally just cannot cope with demands on their systems.
Mt. Gox, Bter, Mintpal, Cryptsy, Bitfinex, and an alarmingly long list of other exchanges have significantly damaged confidence in cryptocurrency, diminished exchange liquidity across the board, and lost millions of dollars of customers funds.
Decentrlaised exchanges cant come soon enough! With an already working DX and a hard fork in a few weeks, this is the future.
Posting this for those that are interested. It could NOT be more timely!

Decentralised exchanges are the future. Blocknet does true peer to peer cross blockchain trades 100% risk free and trustless.

If you are looking for greater exposure for SHIFT you should check out the blocknet fully decentralised exchange with BIP65 and CLTV, there is imminent community testing of latest release, and a major fork in one month signalling the full release of blocknet.
A bunch of coins are already lined up, would be nice if your project went decentralised aswell.

Goodmorning guys, from cold scandinavia, I havent posted much here, but I have followed XC, and I am still very confident in Dan and the team.
Right now these prices are seriously good, and let all the fudders scream sell, if you buy right now, and they implement the tech theyve been working on, then you would probably have made one of your best moves ever.
But remember its the tech you are investing in, and when were going up the next bull run, and BTC reaches 5-6000 usd, I believe XC will be its counterpart and the most stellar tech concerning privacy and blockchain 2.0.
And as of right now nobody got anything, every coin is still working, so "fuck" the price, its cheap as hell because of pussies with too high expectations, good thing for Dan they flushed themselves.

Actually, thinking about it this is really good. It was this quarter I transferred all my money from BTC to XC, so Im up about 10% from what I would have been if I'd kept it all in BTC like i have been doing for about a year.
XC is safer that BTC basically. Good news !
looks like I moved it at the perfect time.
Best thing is: when this season is over and a bull market commences, XC will be at the front too as we launch officially, unveil blockchain 2.0 plans, people get to try out mobile wallets, etc.
yes it seems like perfect timing for XC I cant wait to see where this coin will be in 2 months

Yes it seems to be the mentality of the whale to dump on good news, I do trade crypto so know not to panic, I just hope newcomers wont adopt his style
