the first question is "how familiar are you with this market?" based on your comment specially the point #5 and the fact that you say you want to buy and hold a bunch of coins, i assume you have no idea how this market works.
so my suggestion is that you should first hang around in the market for a couple of months. and most important of all you should try to see the history of different coins. check their charts in the long run like for a couple of years and see how they have been changing.
try to figure out why each coin rises and falls (aka pumps and dumps) and try to take advantage of that if you want profit.

Im in crypto since september 2017 and reading articles, forums, even global economics everyday, as well learning on technical analysis on a daily basis.
Maybe we didnt understand quite well. I meant that BTC is not technologicaly advanced compared to some other coins and not generaly. And i never said i want to buy bounch of coins...im thinking of geting BTC and 2 or maybe 3 ALTS in top 30 and 2 smallcap coins. And when i say hold for 2 years i didn mean to hold it nomatter what, im gonna definatly sell if i see an upcoming correction.

There are lots of good coins, but im afraid there is not room for all
Im investing in max 6 to 7 coins
BTC(split the % you wanted to go in with BNB also, it acts as a stable coin these days with also great upside since BNB is poised to be the #1 exchange)
then a large chunk in
NEO ONT(you ll miss dearly if you like NEO but dont invest in ONT at this point)
then a privacy coin either Zcash/Monero if you want it to be a large cap or ZEN if you want a smaller yet solid pick
then 1 or 2 killer ETH tokens with my top2 being 0x and Augur(REP)
then you can go either way either hedge your portfolio with some solid platform pick, albeit a less exciting one, like ETH/ADA/XLM/IOTA/EOS or
go a bit deeper in the rabbit hole with a lower % on things like NEBL/WAN/ARK.

NEO, ONT and ARK/NEBL(for lower cap coins) all depreciated way more than ETH/BTH and imo are quite safe picks, and most important all offer passive income(dPos/Pos)!Taking advantage of the market bleeding

Monero for the blue-chip pick of the bunch (bonus points to it for the healthy correction it had today) and then for the wild card pick I would go with ZenCash, they do a lot of work, team is solid, concept as well and in June they ll up rewards from mining dedicated to secure nodes and governance.

ITs 5 times recent lows, way up from ICO price and have a hyped competitor (quarkchain) coming to solve the scalabitlity issue with the same solution(sharding). I wouldnt buy now during ATH for no reason what so ever. Just accept this train has left the station and dont try to chase after it, FOMO is how you lose money.what do you thinking about the future of Zilliqa (ZIL)?
I think currently it is NEX ICO. I wasn't even able to get into it's sale by the lottery...

I am all for diversification and moonshots among others but I feel like you went a bit overboard here, no way you can watch the progress of ALL those projects in order to be most efficient. I would consolidate some positions and focus on the more promising ones(be it small cap or large cap as you wish).
I want to buy few Altcoins which have some strong good concept and which are beneficial for the crypto world somehow.
Of course my intention is to make good profit but I do not want to invest for that sole purpose.
I would be interested in something in which I get profit by holding and not by selling when it reach a particular price.

Ordinary people are not good at risk assessments of random people over internet. And the niche is full of scammers.

EOS is really high now, I doubt that it is the best time to buy.

BNB and NEO are coins that I'm holding right now.
With the decreasing customer satisfaction in exchanges such as bittrex and poloniex, Binance is really making a name for itself on the international stage. And I don't think that's going to stop right now, which is why I'm long on BNB.
NEO is undervalued from its $150 ATH, and to me, it's got a long way to go. It's found a bottom at $50 which is a good sign.
XMR and Zcash if you want to go for stable privacy coins(between the two I would go with XMR) and you can also check ZenCash if you re looking to invest into something that has a lot of potential but its not there just yet. They have governance, privacy and (master) nodes starting from just 42 coins with a ROI of about 60% with current participation.
Only if for the fact (probably paid) people copy/paste the SAME damn post shilling this coin in every post of this forum section even if it makes no sense for the discussion is enough to persuade me to stay clear. Much better low market cap projects available.

the altocoin market is so variuous and there are dozen of interesting projects that can be supported.
But i'm a little investor (500$) and i'm seriously thinking to put all my money in only 1 project I think is very good which curretly is in the top 40 of altcoins. I don't want to say the name because my topic wants to be very general: what do you think is the risk by doing so? Should I invest in 2 or 3 coins instead?

Just put all 500$ in an exchange that carries a nice variety of tokens ( kucoin or binance for instance ) and diversify in 3-5 coins. All in on just one coin is asking for trouble.the altocoin market is so variuous and there are dozen of interesting projects that can be supported.

I plan to fully fill NEX's hard cap per person since I was lucky enough to be included. I also plan to spend a few ETH on BullToken. Seems like an interesting project and fits my vision of passive income investments.
If it was me, I think I would choose ONT to invest. As I see it at the moment when the market is going up but ONT has not had a breakthrough in price. Or you can choose the coins are not rising at the present time.
It has tripled in value during a bear market all the while reaching a top25 slot, what exactly you consider a breakthrough?
