Get those coins off of the exchange site. They're more than likely stealing your balance.I think it would be risky putting any size. If the module is not evenly heated it will create condensation.
I seen a guy at a lan-party once that did use 2 large peltiers to create a mini air conditioning unit for his case though. Not sure how much cooler it got in the case but it had a 5 inch fan blowing across copper fins that had been cooled to frost just about. They are cheap enough to buy on ebay. Could be a fun little project if your bored.

Direct cooling I don't think would work that well with a peltier. Not to mention condensation issue.
I would think your best bet with a thermoelectric cooling device would be used in conjunction with a liquid cooled system.

Being a FB marketer, I can tell you that setting up an event is not the way to do it. Your best bet would be to setup a fanpage with a application tab with some interactive stuff for people to like the fanpage and invite friends to it.
that sounds like a valid argument. i'm not that familiar with FB. may i take your comment and post it to the event/user as a proposal?

Just a quick glance over this thread and I can see the problem here, people are lazy and want others to solve their issues for them. I can clearly see a lot of those using bitcoin for their online ventures, know nothing about internet business and how to secure it for themselves.
Being a FB marketer, I can tell you that setting up an event is not the way to do it. Your best bet would be to setup a fanpage with a application tab with some interactive stuff for people to like the fanpage and invite friends to it.

I Built 30 rigs, each with 3 x 5830's which all and up cost me 15k which I purchased on credit cards at close to 20%. I am not making much money or bitcoins since the difficulty has gone up, I would have been quite well in the clear if I sold my bitcoins at $30 but I still have them, I don't want to sell them under $15.
Is the price of bitcoins going to go up, if so I will be alright but I am uncertain if I can continue to generate bitcoins in a profitable way. I still have to pay off the credit card. What do you guys think?

Probably a bit off-topic (sorry), but since I don't know how they're exactly called I don't know what so search for: what are these PCIe extention cables? I can't seem to find them at my regular hardware shops

this all kind of makes me giggle. I know when bionic put out gpu stuff for crunching numbers there was a slight increase in card sales.... But I can't imagine there has ever been a increase in sales like this. its completely insane how many vid cards have been purchased just because of bitcoins in the past few weeks... should of got stock in these manufacturers 
A simple estimate of the bitcoin community puts miners in the roughly 10-20,000 range. New card sales are likely less but even assuming an optimistic estimate, we'll say 20,000.
In the first 9 months after the 5xxx series was released, AMD sold 16million 5xxx chips. 20,000 / 16million = .1% Bitcoin is a drop in the bucket at the moment. I'm glad people are being optimistic about bitcoin, that's what it needs, but really let's keep things in perspective.
Ooh yeah for sure overall its nothing. But what I meant was just a average shopping time to see a huge spike in sales out of the blue.
