OP's 2 Factor Authentication got hacked also including his login details. There are several cases of accounts being hacked even 2FA is enable.

So when i have a problem with a coin on Bittrex i can not talk about that? Dennis is one of the people who is always promoot xst. Sorry i don't like that we all in or out and we try to help each. I give a lot of coins away to help promoting because a like this coin. When their are people react like a bank or government psssss don't talk then they are ......I don't like this sorry... Have you had your computer checked for keylogging software possibly? There are also firewall programs you can get to make you accept outbound traffic requests such as LittleSnitch on OSX.
Backdoor.bot was found! So after the hack i clean the laptop and install again.
Changed all passwords!
You cannot disable 2fa unless your logged in, which you cannot do without first confirming the 2fa? im confused how this happened to you

- hackers got my login (maby via malware of something)
- Then he turned off my 2FA (so he loged on to bittex)
- I got a email the 2FA is disabled
- Then he sold my altcoins
- Then send the BTC to hisself

The only thing that was said is that this is not a place to talk about issues that are NOT related to XST, such as bittrex accounts being hacked... The two issues that took up pages of this thread had absolutely NOTHING to do with XST other than the users happened to lose some along with other coins...
What's wrong once again to discuss the safety of the more there is a reason for this? Let the XST holders once again to think about security, what's wrong? It can prevent further loss. Instead of helping each other start bickering what to write and what not, and various accusations. To that already when the topic is discussed and people help each other - it can attract new users and to show that coin is alive and community is strong. This is for those who are pursuing a purely practical purposes and not very willing to help others XST holders.
The only thing that is necessary to allocate the problem is not XST, this is a problem common security.

In my case:
I used 2FA on bittrex but someone hacked my login from bittrex and disabled 2FA and then sold my coins and send this to this adress:

I see there are more BTC coming in this account. So there will be more people attacked
The annoying thing in this is that you can do nothing to get it back? Even the BTC are in the hackers "wallet"
Also the trading exchange can do nothing on this, because they used your login.
So protect yourself with malware software and virussoftware.
I hope that we can get clear what to do when you are hacked or protect yourself to hackers.

Guys, I'm begging, please stop the talk about hacking and wallet losses. This has nothing to do with XST.
With the amount of trolling these days all it takes is one dummy who doesn't read the entire thread to take this way out of context.
You may want to consider setting up a VRN for yourself as well. There are some good solutions out there, please PM ME if you need suggestions.

Well, something screwy is going on. HunterS and mrdennis get hacked and coins stolen. I sent my coins from bittrex to wallet...20 min later I go to send a little bit to mrdennis to help him out (I don't have much) and I have a runtime error showing at the bottom of the wallet. Oh crap! I saw what happened to HunterS so I closed it out completely and with my heart thumping, I start it back up and....whew! My coins are still there! BUT...now it will not sync past block 30142 and I only have 7 connections to the network when I had 20+ before. Opening and closing hoping it will start syncing again.

They hacked my 2FA on bittrex.
I was not at home but got a email from bittrex that the 2FA is disabled. When i came back i saw 0,0 balance everywhere.
I'm now in contact with bittrex. Hope that i can get back my coins!

well someone just hacked me and stole my 50000 stealth.not sure how.been doing this for over 2 years now and never had any trouble.they also got 30000 blue coin.some how got my wallet.dat out of my roaming folder.
It looks like they dumped your XST too.
You need to get yourself a password program. A good one. Do research.
You need to make your passwords like this:
1. Low Security: DSwgkRBf3U3QYBsf4F
2. Medium Security: mV6xDnFjKD5ue3smHm4bmemKn8ND
3. Wallet Passphrase: XNMW2UcMhzqK6Hcmj6LeQcsuAKs9mwnXkNa6en4f
(Hint: don't use those.)
You need to enable 2FA on your trading accounts using authenticator or authy.
You should never trade from a public computer.
Don't use windows, internet explorer, or any other malware prone crap.
Build all of your own wallets. If you don't know how, learn. Remember: if learning was easy, fewer people would be idiots.
