I came out 100% when it reach $39,500. Got hit hard in the 2018 crash by being greeddy and believing the shills with their talk of TO THE MOON. I believe BTC will go to the moon, but it will be a sawtooth pattern and take a long long time.

I strongly believe a big crash / rectification will come soon, then will go all in and double maybe triple the coins I had

and when BTC crashes ETH crashes harder

because far too many people buy the peaks and sell the troughs lol

If you're  a true believer, much easier and less stressful and better for your health to just hold the coins and sit out the anxiety, knowing one day in the future, or your kids' future, you'll get a payday

$100k won't hit until 2023 in my (factless and basically ignorant view). Major price rectification to come, I didn't think it would hit $40k this run but I was wrong there. I think the bigboys will try and push it to $45k, then come out and trigger a run on the price. Over the next two years it will bottom out around $10k, then end 2022 / early 2023 we will see another bull run.

my biggest regret was fucking around with altcoins and not just putting it all in BTC.  Overall am up with alts, but would be A LOT more up if just stuck with BTC

I agree I think the crash will come soon. The steady climb of the last 6 months wasn't anything to worry about, but the rapid last week rise is. We are not 50% higher than the previous ATH which has happened just before last two major crashes. The ATH has made the mainstream news, again just like before the previous crash.

Will BTC go 40k? Yes definitely. This bull run, I give it 50:50.

been watching it all day, they reached a new low: hold your nerve, one more hour, don't go in too early - I had to go out, got delayed, came back and they are up like 60-70% (linda is up 100+% lol)

So hoping this will be followed by a mini crash over night / tomorrow, so can get in at the correct time

you sure? Seems like there has been a decent rally after hitting a low point, prices up 50% in some cases!

I think you need to look at the last few months value.

coins that were 0.10 in Dec, jumped to $1 / $2 they are now dropping back  down  *towards*to  mid December  levels.  I would take this as a bottom  value. Any coins that have got close to that +% are probably worth investing in. Those that are still way above Decemeber I think still have some way to fall.

Late December / early Jan was a crazy period and many people got carried away (raises hand lol) thinking those gains were permanently when history would have showed they weren't.

But the ride isn't over yet, still good profits to come in 2018
