MVP almost complete, whitepaper written, need a campaign manager

Hi, my team and I would like to announce our ICO as well as Pre-ICO related bounties within the next 2-3 weeks. However, there are still a couple things that we need to take care of before we get there. First and foremost, we would like to hire a dedicated and reputable campaign manager(s). Currently, we are in talks with a couple different attorneys to see which can best suit our needs as we move forward.

A little bit about our project (small preview): Our platform will aim to disrupt the traditional cryptocurrency gambling scene by decreasing the house edge by an amount not possible with other companies. I won't give away how we're going to do this, just yet, but the house-edge will be less than 0.5% while many platforms have an edge of 1%.

A little bit about our team: Right now there are 4 main cofounders.
We have an individual pursuing his PhD in bioinformatics, as well as software developers from companies such as Facebook, Salesforce, and Fitbit.

Our cryptocurrency will act as pseudo-stocks in which holders get paid monthly with the revenue the platform generates. Additionally, revenue not allocated to holders will be used to initiate buybacks and burns of our currency on exchanges (70% to holders / 30% to buyback and burn of our currency on exchanges).

We are in talks with several potential advisors from other reputable crypto-companies (will not be named until they sign on) and believe that we will be relatively successful with our ICO  Smiley

Seeking experienced lawyer for ICO launch
by

Hi, me and my team are getting extremely close to announcing our Pre-ICO! It's been a hectic month leading up to this point, but overall I'm very excited as we're approaching the final stretch before we get to announce our coin on this forum!
However, we are seeking some legal help from an experienced attorney; we want to make sure all of the legal business is settled before we even promote our coin on this forum. If anyone can post here, or send me a private message with any leads or tips on how to go about seeking legal help we would be very grateful! Smiley

I'll tell you a little bit about our four main founders without revealing information about the coin itself -
I personally am pursuing a PhD in bioinformatics and will be leading the business development portion of the product (I have experience starting my own business, and with a silicon valley startup)
We also have three very talented developers who have nearly completed our Minimal Viable Product, they are from Facebook, Salesforce, and Fitbit. We also have a couple potential advisors who have successfully launched ICOs in the past, but I won't talk about them until papers are signed!
That's all I can say for now, but expect an announcement post from me within 1-2 weeks and I hope we can convince you to participate in our ICO within the next month or two!

Thanks to anyone who replies with useful information, comments and questions are welcome, but I will refrain from divulging any information about the coin until we've talked to a lawyer!

Re: Bitcoin Attorney Will Answer All Questions:

Dear BTC/Crypto Legal Forum:

As an experienced BTC attorney I'm happy to answer all questions here.

I have noticed some misinformation in some answers here. When it comes to taxes, laws and regulations, guessing or opinions are not helpful and can easily lead to problems. Most solutions to all the questions here can be summed up in a few short answers.

I can only give legal advice to laws in the United States but can discuss other countries in general terms. I've been involved as an attorney and a miner in BTC and Crypto's for 3 years. During that time I have represented many client's involved in our crypto world. Happy Mining!

Hi! I was wondering if you could put me in the right direction here. Seeing as you are an actual attorney is a plus, seeing that you are located in Las Vegas makes you seem even more qualified to answer my question!
So I am part of a small team (people who work at facebook/fitbit/salesforce) that is developing a new gambling based cryptocurrency. My question is, is how do we go about incorporating a business offshore for the purpose of accepting payments through our ICO? Is that even necessary and should we just incorporate in Nevada seeing as cryptocurrenices are not securities but personal property?

Thank you for your time, I appreciate it, and we would love to talk to you more as a team if you would be willing to give us of it outside of replying to my post right now.

Hi, can you please tell me exactly what you need?  Do you need just register company out of United States jurisdiction?
And where can I find out more about your project and about your coin?
If you have a social network can I  get a link to it?

Hi! We are looking for a lawyer / law firm which specializes in digital law outside of the United States to help us incorporate outside of the United States.
We didn't want to release any information about our coin / project until we spoke to an attorney first, but if you send me a PM and if you think you have the right person(s) for us to speak with, I think I can give you more information Smiley

Hi! I've been a part of this community for many years now, from time to time I will lurk the forums but largely I've been inactive.

I'm part of a team of software engineers (Facebook / FitBit / SalesForce) which is very close to finishing the development of a new coin. We are in the process of preparing for our PRE-ICO... However, we need some legal help! How should we go about starting a shell company overseas if we are all located in the United States. Obviously this is information I can fish from the web, I've searched some different sites, but none of them seem very reputable, so I was hoping some people with actual experience could answer me here.

Thank you very much for your time!

Re: Ripple coin flip win 2x your money 49 out of 100 times!

I just tried this 4 times... and I didn't win any?

I know each time I only have a 49% chance to win but it just seemed fishy to me...

Because there is only a .51^4 chance of me losing 4 times in a row which equates to around 6%... Maybe I'm just unlucky, but this doesn't seem legit to me.

Edit-
I just made 2 more microbets, both losses.
the chance of 6 losses is .51^6 if done concurrently.
I know the chance of me losing is 51% each time, but this is BS o.O
