I've been getting about 7.5 GPS steady on my x2 1070s and x1 1060 6gb on Grinmint with almost no downtime, however even with full fans the cards are getting pretty hot

Has anyone found an undervolt/overclock that improves performance and/or lowers temps for c29?

Also has anyone tried mining c31 on cards with less than 11gb or c29 on cards with less than 8gb?

I found a mining OS that lets you mine c29/c31 GRIN on 4GB cards that I am going to be trying later today but just wanted to see what others had tried

I haven't tried anything yet, but I'm eager to mine some grin on my 4gb cards! Please share if you get it to work.

Question for miners, when mining on AMD cards, do you prefer Ethereum-like clock / voltage settings or Cryptonite-like clock settings?

I dont change my settings much, these days I only optimize for minimum power draw. Which has minimal impact to the hashrate it seems

Payment from sparkpool is enabled once every 24 hours, and the withdraw also once ever 24 hours, which does not happen on the same time.
The moment your balance is >5 BEAM and the time comes(not sure what time) an button appears on your main page to request the withdraw, it will be very obvious you wont miss it, just need to be patient.

Thank you, I received a payment this afternoon.

Good stuff mate!

We’re pleased to release Bminer 11.4.0.

The release provides experimental support mining beam with AMD cards.

Please see https://www.bminer.me for more details.

Happy mining!

I just gave it a try and did not notice any difference compared to the BEAM miner available through beam.mw
So for now I'll stick to that one until another new miner pops-up which adds more hashpower to my setup.

btw. I do like the logging of fanspeed and power draw per card!

I'm curious to hear what others are getting with their RX580's!

Mining on sparkspool works like a charm for me, just received my first withdrawal :thumbsup:

Hello!
I have three sapphier nitro+ rx580 le 8gb, I haven’t yet rebuilt them after callisto.Turned on as it is, so it jumps from 22 to 28. Which drivers do you use blockchain 17.3 of August or the last 18.2.3? Did you flush the BIOS or overclock and reduce the voltage through, what if so?
I have settings Ethash for one in one bios, so I want to overclock software on another bios, but have not received payment from sparkpool. How did you get paid, automatically or registered on the pool and made a request?

I'm running the 18.5.1 Radeon Adrenalin edition drivers, moved away from the blockchain drivers a few months back.
On the bios front yes I did flash them with the polaris bios editor, it updates the timing with 1 click, so far I've seen good results.

If you want to overclock I would recommend using the OverdriveNtool, I update the .bat file to force setting the settings I want on the cards and don;t have to do anything else, I love it!

Running strong on my 5x AMD RX580 Rig, anyone else mining with 580's? if so what are you getting out of them?
On avg I'm getting a 44 sol/s output, with highs of 46 sol/s and lows of 41 sol/s

output log:
Performance: 9.07 sol/s 7.67 sol/s 8.53 sol/s 9.40 sol/s 10.00 sol/s | Total: 44.67 sol/s
Performance: 8.67 sol/s 8.67 sol/s 10.33 sol/s 9.80 sol/s 8.27 sol/s | Total: 45.73 sol/s
Performance: 8.73 sol/s 8.87 sol/s 8.93 sol/s 9.27 sol/s 9.53 sol/s | Total: 45.33 sol/s
Performance: 8.20 sol/s 8.93 sol/s 9.47 sol/s 8.33 sol/s 8.00 sol/s | Total: 42.93 sol/s

The rig draws 560watt @ the wall using the following settings:
Core clock @ 1250MHz
Memory clock @1850MHz
and undervolted to 870 (except 1 card which became unstable so that runs at 900)

I'll take a more reserved guess Smiley

1080 --> 190
580 --> 116
