Re: ✅ [PRE-ANN] CCC - A True Community Coin - You Make Every Decision ✅

ALTCOM already tried this.  The coin went as high as $16. The community decided it wanted to change the name to SONO.  Shortly after coin died completely.  Disappeared from the face of the map: https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/altcommunity-coin/

Having community make all the decisions is a bad idea. Everything rises or falls on leadership.

Dev,
I have a problem with wallet.  While using version 1.2, apparently my wallet forked itself and started earning hundreds of coins by staking.  But it stopped syncing after block 3836, and the explorer shows my balance much less.  When I install new wallet and try to replace the wallet file, the wallet will not open anymore and gives me errors.  Apparently the issue was caused by stupid windows 10 not knowing what time it was.  I have to set it manually every time I restart.  When syncing the wallet with windows having wrong time is how my wallet forked itself.

I got wallet working again, but my balance is less than what pools have reported being my payout.  Combining arcpool and nosefik pool payouts, I should have over 60 coins, but my wallet actually only has 40.  Why did coins go missing?  Did the pools fork at some point too?

You need to delete everything on conf folder Except wallet.dat to resync it

Dev thanks, I got the wallet resynced already, and figured windows clock being off is what caused the wallet to fork itself originally.  But I still have one issue:  The block explorer by nosefik is showing a different balance than what I have in the actual windows wallet.  And between arcpool and nosefik pool, they have reportetly sent me more coins than I ever received.  Just wondering why the explorer shows me receiving more coins than the wallet says, and why both pools combined say they've sent me even more coins than what the explorer is stating.

Hey dev, perhaps the coin payouts by pool are more than I receive in my wallet because of masternodes taking their cut?  If so why does block explorer show more than I receive in wallet?

To show you my issue of missing coins, see the explorer for my first address: https://xar.nosekefik.com/address/xt2aLWW2D2iB68FDYaeEoW42wqWYnHDr8q

But the wallet itself has no coins other than what has been deposited after the withdrawls.  Why would the block explorer show a higher balance that the actual wallet? What is wrong here?

It's true that people who can code a miner that out does what is available are much better off keeping it a trade secret.  If claymores miner is not worth the dev fee anymore, that should tell you something.  Obviously dude is working on private code at this point.  If you want to gain anything join the open source community so that it excels beyond that which is closed source.  Use open source mining software, and don't remove the dev fee if there is one because that money will motivate the open source creator to keep giving the world better hash rates without hiding their work in order to rake in earnings with their own equipment.  To emphasize my point, imagine the D3 antminer.  Its built to mine X11, which contains 11 algorithms.  If someone figures out how to feed only one algo to the miner and hash it out at 15 GH/s, the miner goes from $5 a day to $500 a day in profitability.  If some basement dev figures out the key to that do you think they are going to tell the whole world via a forum post?

Why not just fund them with a more known crypto currency like bitcoin?  Does funding missions via crypto require its own coin? If so, why... Can it be as reliable as a more established option?

I have wondered the same thing myself.  Since x11 contains multiple algos, there must be a way to programmatically mine only one of them using the D3.  If someone figures that secret out it will be better kept secret.  If D3 can mine only one algo there are coins that would make us $300 a day right now.

What I took away from that was that all miners need to spend profits on renewable electricity so that even the power source of crypto is decentralized.
