Litecoin is a great long-term value coin. Litepay is very underrated. It has a brand, it's brand is the payment system to bitcoin's store of value. There is a clear image of litecoin and is highly highly trusted.

Re: Basic Attention Token (BAT) vs SpeedCash (SCS) targeting digital advertising

I think BAT is a much stronger and more advanced project. To be honest the best thing about BAT is their working product - the Brave browser. Im personally using the browser right now. I know alot of people in the space who use the browser and it's much better than Chrome/Firefox etc. The founder of Brave also founded Firefox, maybe the best guy possible to be running the show.

I would recommend looking into Deep Onion. Currently in an Air Drop phase so there is time to get free coins! Great investment considering he new regulations against ICOs. Privacy coins will make big moves in 2018 and this is one that hasnt been exposed to mainstream media yet. The team is great and has full plans to promote after airdrop is complete.

The Best AirDrop I've been apart of is Deep Onion. Still time to get involved with 8 airdrops left and increasing payouts now until the end. Unreal community and huge things coming after the airdrop completes. This is an elite privacy coin that will challenge the big dogs really soon.

Ive personally havent had any problems. That said I feel like Binance is pretty secure whereas cryptopia and kucoin sketch me out. GDAX and the bigger ones are backed by US banks so those are really secure, but you wont be able to get alts on there.

It already did moon. If you're talking about regaining value, it will need alot of institutional or new public money into it. Most everyone already in the crypto space has already made gains and moved on.

I truly believe in it. It's not crypto's per say but the blockchain technology. When you think of these coins as assets over currency it's much more understandable

Stop shilling coins on here please. You provided no grounds for the structure of the coin , the use, or tech. Dont just use a catchy headline to try and pump your trash coin.

Re: Bitcoin in 2018

I see blockchain tech as a whole beginning a huge disruption. This was not the bubble. 600$ Billion total market cap is not even close to what this market will bring in. Until we get to the 10-15 trillion dollar range, then we will see a real bubble. But I expect massive growth coming to get to that point.

Big supporter of Deep Onion. If you follow their project and plans for the future it really is an impressive undertaking. They seem very organized, committed to the tech behind the project for now, and have a full marketing plan once they know their product works. too many coins rush to market and are backed by no working product, Onion is doing the opposite and I see big things ahead one the air drop finishes up.

Pac Coin will never be a top 50 coin. Largest supply out there completely devalues the currency. Clearly a Pump and Dump coin. I would not put a significant commitment into this coin.

Re: Are the crypto and financial markets tied?
by
mullenmanBTC
on 05/02/2018, 19:07:45 UTC
They are tied in terms of the investment. Current status for both of these markets is shaken. People are often misled by the false beliefs that the stock market will pull the crypto market to the demise if it starts to fall.

The real truth is that the stock market if it is destined to vanish, will make new opportunities for the stock investors which will invest in the crypto( safe paradise). Crypto market is currently very unbalanced and correction phase is still in progress but I believe that the future for the crypto market will be for sure prosper for its investors.

Stock( financial market) won't withstand very long and when the fall starts all the stock investors will be meritorious for the crypt growth. Their investment will stabilize the future of the cryptocurrencies.

I agree that long-term we could see a separation where a stock market crash leads to a bullish crpyto market. But you have to think that is 5-10+ years away no? Even if we're thinking over the next 3-5 years we should still operate under the assumption that a downtrend in the stock market affects the crypto market directly?

Are the crypto and financial markets tied?
by
mullenmanBTC
on 05/02/2018, 16:15:05 UTC
I know many people like to view crypto as alternative investment to the financial market, but it's hard not to notice the mirroring trends. The crypto market goes on an all time bull run in unison with the stock market. Now as the stock market begins to tumble so too does crypto. In the future we envision crypto to be independent of the centralized markets, but in the present what do you think is causing this trend ??

Re: 1 ETH - should buy alt or hold on to it
by
mullenmanBTC
on 05/02/2018, 13:56:07 UTC
Always keep a significant portion of your portfolio in ETH/BTC. These will be the most stable long turn and will hedge your risk with alts. For most the idea of alts is to trade with intention to gain more ETH/BTC, it wouldn't be smart to go all in on a single alt or completely lose your ETH position. slowly enter the alt market and scale your way in.

Governments dont like competition. Crypto is a direct threat to centralized entities. The problem is the blockchain technology is what gets overlooked. Blockchain technology can help all parties involved, businesses, individuals and governments. It's similar to any disruption in an industry - look at UBER, may laws were enacted early to prevent the rise , but the tech and idea was so great it easily broke these barriers in the long-run.

Re: will it be in 2018 eth price equal to BCH price?
by
mullenmanBTC
on 04/02/2018, 19:41:58 UTC
If you're talking Market Cap that is a real possibility. You have to look at Market Cap over the USD $ price though. Ethereum has a higher supply than BTC or BCH so the dollar value wont get to that level, but in terms of being the #1 ranked coin which is decided in market cap that will happen. Still think it is vital to have a significant portion of your portfolio in both BTC and ETH

Almost all coins are still tied to the value of BTC. Many people trade based on BTC value so when BTC falls so do the altcoins and most of the time they fall even harder. Int he future the hope is that altcoins are independent of the value of BTC, but right now most people accumulate altcoins to convert back into more BTC and therefore are tied to that value. Once BTC starts to rebound so will the Alts.

I dont know if it will ever hit 5$, but it will be rebound. Just hodl and it will rebound. Worst case get sell off a portion if it gets back up to 2.50 and move your position into something else. It would be unwise to sell for a loss at this time.

sorry but I completely disagree. Blockchain technology is here to stay whether you believe or not. As much as you think money is flowing out of the market more and more companies are entering the space (i.e. Samsung). Prices will follow. Yes a correction is necessary but dont be ignorant and say the market will never rebound because it will.
