I'm looking to sell 196 units of S7-LN (2,7 Th/s) most preferably in bulk. The miners are located in Florida. I am also open to international shipping if it's a good deal.
Bulk Description:
Total Active Hash Power: 480 Th/s 500 Th/s.
174 Fully operational miners.
22 half working miners presenting different issues (fixable).
Used for 7 months, in good conditions.
Every unit includes its original package and PSU.
Regarding price, I am open to offers (realistic ones). Feel free to ask anything.
I would be interested in buying USB bitcoin miners with efficiency equal or better than 0.3J/GH, and with a sell price of 2.5USD per GH/s or lower. Can you advance any expected sales date for the "sidehack" announced 700GH/s @ 70W USB miner ??
Pending projects: - 20xBM1384 Pod - 2xBF16 USB Stick - 11xBF16 Pod - 33xBF16 S1/3/5-compatible board ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ...... So, I don't know about you guys but I'm pretty excited.
He is pretty tied up with 2PAC manufacturing right now. Next one he, I believe , will focus on his efforts is BM1384 pod miner manufacturing.
I don't think we will see BF16 stick miner this year.
Got 3 of my 4 Compacs cranking steadily and stably at 300MHz.
The bad news:
Yeah - just 3. One of them zombied out. I would just figure I killed it, but if I fiddle with the voltage, it will catch low GH's but then degrade to MH's and eventually zombie out again. But most of the time it won't hash.
I even scaled back the power and clocks to 275MHz. Still the same. When I plug straight into a USB port in my PC tower, it DOES make the Win10 chime, but still doesn't try to hash.
Any advice - or is prolly fried?
Thanks all!
A few questions.
How are you cooling your mining sticks?
with 300MHz clock speed, what is vCore voltage reading?
Also a suggestion.
Instead of using official cgminer releases from ck, use one written by vh, which can be found: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1764803.0 This cgminer 4.10.0 is for SideHack's new 2PAC sticks but it also works great with original compac USB sticks.

Received all 6 sticks in the mail. Thank you Sidehack.

I set vcore voltage to 1.328 and clock speed at 237.50Mhz. With this setting, the miner pulls around 1.95 A from a port with 0 HW.
All 6 sticks are working nicely with vh's latest CGMiner build (Well...1 stick out of 6 is giving me some trouble to be honest) I will probably need to tweak around a bit more later after letting them run for a day or two.
Hi sidehack, sorry for the noob question but would this usb miner be able to take advantage of a usb3.1 port 900mA? If its plugged it into a 3.1 usb port? Thank you for your hard work.
In order to fully take advantage of what this USB miner can deliver, you definitely want powered USB hub with additional current available for each port.

Re: Now that usb sticks are being sold by sidehack here is a new usb hub thread.
My attempt at upping the power to my soon to be arriving 2pacs on the cheap. I'm reusing stuff I already had on hand. I am waiting on my Block Erupters to sell on eBay to reclaim a 5v 40 amp led "meanwell" power supply. My plan is to use Monoprice usb extenders and some 18GA wire to hook up the power of the meanwell and data of a cheap 10 port hub (also hooked up to the meanwell) I hope to get these guys running at 3 to 3.5 amps per.
I slice the jacket and remove the red and black wire (verifying that they are the +5 and ground on the usb ports) Cut the red wire and cap the side coming from the usb hub. Solder in the new 18GA wire +5 and ground cables. Verify no shorts and wrap the solder joints on opposite sides of the usb cable.
I cut some 3/4 wood dowel and using a saw and 1/2 drill bit made usb "Holders" they are spaced 2" apart to allow cooling. I plan on attaching these to the board that my power supply is mounted to and using hot glue attaching the usb "holders" to the wood dowel. And then attaching cooling fans. Will Post more pictures when I get it completed. Just wanted to throw this out in case it helps others.
Looking forward to updates and pictures of your setup.

Re: [FOR SALE - SIDEHACK STICK] GekkoScience 2PAC - 2x BM1384 USB Stick Miner
I came in over the weekend and got a bunch more sticks tested. Also tested out a new assembly procedure that should pick up the overall pace, which is definitely a good thing.
Anyways I have to go by the post office today anyway so I'm shipping out the next small orders. This makes the first 8 small orders, total of 47 sticks, shipped by day's end. The next 200 will be stashed for the first large order. By end of next week I should have that first large order done and be tearing into the next however many small orders. I'll have to retool for bitshopper sticks before long, so that'll slow up the domestic-order pace a bit.
Thanks for the update. I don't know where my 6 sticks are placed in your queue but I made some silly contraption while waiting the new toys to show up.
thanks...cute..., however, you will be cooling mostly the hub, not the sticks themselves with this setup as they will protrude much higher than the fan plane.
There is a large block of heatsink in the middle. All the sticks will be mounted on this then connected to the hub via 6-inch Male to Female USB extension cable. I don't know the quality of these cables so there could be some amp loss but I guess I have to play around to find out.

I made the mistake of buying the AntRouter without digging to see if it was a good product. Now I'm stuck mining on SOLO, does anyone know how to get it off SOLO or change the firmware to get it to mine differently?
I don't have any experience with R1 router/miner. CrazyGuy has a custom firmware for R1, which I believe allows you to mine elsewhere. When you have a moment, please take a look.
Works fine, but won't work with RPi, I would like to switch over to a different hub that I can run on the RPi. I currently have four compacs running at 275mhz and I have two 2Pacs ordered.
Hoping to find something to work with the RPi and be able to provide enough power for the 4 compacs and 2 2Pacs. Hoping to crank these things up 300+mhz.
You should be able to. Superbpaq supplies 2A for each port and works well with RPi. You can push an original compac to somewhere around 340Mhz under 1.95A.

Re: [FOR SALE - SIDEHACK STICK] GekkoScience 2PAC - 2x BM1384 USB Stick Miner
i want to purchase 2 TH/s how much bitcoin get? in week or month or year
hope you can help me!
You technically can be profitable with an undervolted S7-LN, current Bitcoin exchange rate (1BTC=$961USD), and inexpensive electricity (around $0.09 kW/h). You are looking at roughly $0.25/Day if everything goes well. Since you have to cough up some $$ for acquiring a miner such as S7-LN, you won't make money at all. Just get some USB stick miners and do it as hobby.
