We already have an expansive community, and that is the intended audience for ODIN. The idea is a community-driven open-source project. Certain tasks are pro-bono, but a bounty so to speak can be negotiated for more complicated tasks. Community engagement is constantly on the rise.

So the ODIN Messenger is making steady improvements according to the dev team. They're taking a practical approach to integrating the blockchain into the process; using it to verify identities without revealing private information. Not randomly hashing messages into the blockchain as with other attempts at blockchain-based messengers in the crypto market.

In the long run we're hoping to see a solid foundation of support building through messenger use. Decentralized Messengers are abuzz right now with all the Facebook/Instagram/Twitter FUD that has been running rampant in recent months. After the messenger is mostly ready, it's time to buckle down and deliver the privacy platform that ODIN was made for: A dedicated community-run mobile dApps platform.

Build it and they will come, right? 

Great work from the ODIN team as usual.

Currently experimenting with repurposing my old tablet into a Ubuntu ODIN staking device. Looking forward to the messenger, and once again applaud you guys for the first successful proposal on the blockchain. High transparency and community-run right from the start.

What are this project's competitors? Does any other crypto platform have a focus on mobile Dapps? This appears to be an untapped market.
