Re: My opinion about ETH

Bitcoin was primarily build to handle cash transactions (and may someday even be recognized as 'real money') and has secured its place as a great currency and is also capable of much more, while Ethereum is a complex blockchain based contract mechanism.

Re: Crypto replacing fiat?
by
mware
on 30/08/2018, 06:56:47 UTC
It will not replace, it will become the new concept of money earlier than 50 years. Fiat currencies allow the government to have a large amount of control of their economy. They can decide to print more or take some out of the economy through banks. A cryptocurrency would have to be linked to their fiat currency and be totally controllable, for a government to allow it in place of their fiat, but that would basically be a fiat anyways. So we would need new legislation or new governments.

Re: Will the bitcoin be outdated by another currency?
by

bitcoin has been around since 2009 and until now there no another currency surpasses bitcoin. just because something is technically outdated and old does not mean that the world will pivot at once to another service. whenever you hear about how amazing blockchain is and how changed our world, you’d think of how you heard about it first and great chances are you’d be thinking bitcoin

Re: Is it possible to Google to have their own coin ?
by
mware
on 26/08/2018, 05:14:36 UTC
Yes! I think google may be tempted to make their own digital currencies which will work on their private ledger. but If they do it a corporation's coin would be centralized and require trust.

Re: Why lot of countries do not allow to use Crpto?
by
mware
on 25/08/2018, 06:35:22 UTC
Virtual currencies are self-governed, meaning they are not controlled by any government, person or a central authority. This makes monitoring almost impossible and poses a threat for government authorities (this was especially true for China). Finally, using cryptocurrencies is posing a threat to the stability of the national currency in some countries (Indonesia).

Re: Cryptocurrency wallets: Can they be hacked??
by
mware
on 23/08/2018, 17:21:07 UTC
online wallets are also hackable. In the cryptocurrency world, anybody holding the private key to a wallet address is authorized to access the coins in that wallet. But that doesn’t mean you’re fully safe and sound. Electrum vulnerability, 2 time hacked Parity wallet, problems Nano Ledger S as the most sold hardware wallet on the market, are all a example

Re: Will countries or central banks create their own cryptocurrency?
by
mware
on 23/08/2018, 04:51:48 UTC
it's possibly, there are several central banks that last year considered their own cryptocurrency for use in their transactions with financials institutions and banks or as alternatives to cash. This would concern closed circuits.

the world isn't ready for crypto currency, there are still many people who don't have good knowledge or don't know about cryptocurrency. I think countries with slow internet access will difficult to use cryptoccurency. so crypto is still in its early stages

Hey guys. What situation will be on cryptomarket by the end of the year? Do you think crypto market will recover or not? What price bitcoin will reach by the end of the year?
I think cryptocurrencies will recover by the end of 2018 beacuse there are lots of positive developments like parent company of NYSE building out a platform for trading bitcoin products and goldman sachs planning to build out a cryptocurrency custody solutions but I have no idea in which direction the price will go.

in the stock market you actually invest in the company, in the cryptocurrency market you invest in the technology or the currency, both of them make a good returns in the long term. the point is stock markets are safer and less volatile than crypto-markets.

Bitcoin is not a bubble. things have gone a bit crazy with crypto during the past few months but I see this as a normal thing and I personally think that there is no bubble. the technologies behind cryptocurrencies are exciting, and i believe pretty much everybody knowing them agrees that they will have a huge impact on the financial industry
