Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion

Hello,

I've been reading (only) this thread for some time now and would like to pose a question for discussion:

Doesn't the current low volume conditions make this market a potential "easy target" for someone (or some entity) to manipulate it for profit?

Seems likely to me.

Thanks in advance for your thoughts on this.

Re: Cointra - Your favorite exchange on your mobile and tablet

Glad to know you like the app and find it useful. We are working on many new features, two major enhancements you will see in a few weeks are auto trading rules and Mining Toolkit. Mining toolkit will allow you to monitor mining rigs, mined coin difficulty and profitability and other mining related info right within the app. Auto trader will allow automatic trading based on simple rules but without keeping your phone awake or draining your battery.

Besides the new features we are working really hard to make sure any problems faced by users are handled immediately and resolved fast.

cointra,

Any plans to add support for Bitfinex margin trading functions?  Thanks.

I have sent e-mails to compliance and support but no answer yet... When I want to verify account I have an error message saying that documents are missing or in wrong format (ID, KYC form etc...) They are all in pdf or jpeg as stated at the end of the verification page.. How come this is happening?

Same experience here.  Waiting ...

Seems to be a DNS lookup error on a DNS server.

I can ping the address: 149.126.72.187 which is the address a web-based lookup tool provided.  But can't access that address via IE or FF.

Anyone else have more info?

It's almost as if someone is manipulating to keep it at 666, lol.

Could it be, that "The Powers That Be" (TPTB) aka the Fed/US Gov/etc. are sending us Bitcoiners a message?

Could that message possibly be: "You think we can't control this monetary system, TOO??"

(I hope not, but I seriously wouldn't rule it out).

Excellent article here about Mark/Gox:  http://www.wired.com/wiredenterprise/2014/03/bitcoin-exchange/

Despite any external factors like US Gov involvement, etc., it does seem that his ego is much bigger than his supposed "high IQ".  And as a CEO he was/is completely incompetent.

Obviously, "A legend in his own mind!".

Steamboat can you please check order # 100000074‏ - I accepted the refund with a changed receiving address. Nothing received yet.

Same situation for me on order # 100000072 - obviously Steamboat only completed those refunds (so far) that didn't require any corrections to the refund e-mail details.  Waiting ...

This morning the "NOT correct" link in the refund e-mail worked.  After reading more posts I determined that the BTC total for my order was correct @ $25 per board ("full assembly") plus $15 per board for hosting (= $40 per board total converted to BTC @ $126.61 = 0.315931 BTC per board).

I corrected the BTC address, signed the message, and submitted the form.  Expecting BTC soon. Thanks Steamboat and team!

I also received the refund e-mail, which didn't include what I paid for full assembly/testing and hosting.

The "Not correct" link in the e-mail won't work for me in either firefox or IE.

Also, the bitcoin address for refund in the message was incorrect (not mine).

I did verify the path and filename.

Look at that error message again - it's trying to open "wallet.dat/main".  I certainly didn't type in the "/main" - the program somehow added that to the default filename.  Make sense?

Thanks for the quick reply.  The problem isn't fixed.

Right after I click on the web page to dump my wallet, the console displays:

"root: couldn't open wallet.dat/main.  Try quitting Bitcoin and running this again."

followed by an unhandled error traceback.

Thanks again.

Just installed the packages on Win Vista. No obvious install errors.

The web interface comes up fine.

When I try to dump the wallet, I get the error "Error in dump page".  Any ideas?  Thanks!

Also, on the "Info" page, I try "Print the balance of a Bitcoin address", and get "Balance of
: Page not found".
