A Cryptocurrency startup named Currency.com based in Belarus has recently launched a securities trading platform allowing individuals to invest in equities, commodities, and indices with their crypto holdings of Bitcoin or Ethereum.

This startup currently has over 150 tokenized securities and eventually plans to roll out 10,000 different tokenized securites to their customers.

Investors are able to purchase these issued tokens with their cryptocurrency, meanwhile the tokens they purchase perform identically to the assets listed on NASDAQ.

Investors now having the ability to use crypto to invest in stocks like Apple, Netflix, or Google for the same cost of the actual share, brings us one step closer to greater adoption and regulation in the cryptocurrency space.

Jan. 10: The hope of a Bitcoin ETF continues on, with crypto startup Bitwise registered the Bitwise Bitcoin ETF Trust with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) in hopes of getting it approved. If this ETF for Bitcoin is successful, its shares are going to be listed on NYSE Arca, where stocks and options are traded compared to larger cap stocks on traditional NYSE. An ETF is what Bitcoin desperately needs in order to gain mass media attention, and potentially billions of dollars from investors waiting for this asset to be regulated.

by

on 13/01/2019, 15:10:34 UTC
In Finance, the main objective is to determine the fair value or intrinsic value of an asset or investment to then make investment decisions based on this data.

With Cryptocurrencies, we often hear that they have no true value or intrinsic value. That their value is purely speculative which to a large degree is very true.

According to CoinFairValue and a model knows as the Currency Fair Value Model though many major Cryptocurrencies are not currently trading at their intrinsic value. Their model utilizes a number of factors such as Total Discounted Supply Theory Of Money, Velocity of Money, and other variables that they have derived from Austrian Economics to calculate the intrinsic value of cryptocurrencies.

Bitcoin Analysis: Are We Going Up Or Down?
by
mycoinrisk
on 11/01/2019, 19:28:39 UTC
This past month Bitcoin has been testing between $3.5k and $3.6k, and overall the zone has been treated as an opportunity to buy for traders.

Under a completely bearish circumstance, Bitcoin will dip below $3,550 and continue to drop possibly testing its previous temporary bottom at $3.2k. However, many analysts predict that we may plunge further downwards and see fresh yearly lows around $2,500.

In the case that this is a healthy correction, Bitcoin will continue to consolidate with $3.5k as support and $4k as resistance.

JP Morgan CEO Jamie Dimon Says Global Recession Not Coming: Effect On Bitcoin?
by
mycoinrisk
on 09/01/2019, 20:18:52 UTC
“I didn’t want to be the spokesman against bitcoin. I don’t really give a shit — that’s the point, OK?” - Jamie Dimon

Jamie Dimon CEO of JP Morgan and once accused leader of the Bitcoin haters has publicly stated that a global recession is not coming, despite many frightened investors and economists believing a recession will occur soon.

According to Dimon on Fox Business, “It looks to me like a slowdown [not a recession]. Sentiment changed dramatically for a whole bunch of different reasons. But the United States is still growing, at 2.5%. We just had some good wage data.”

Usually to my understanding, when the stock market performs well the sentiment and confidence in investors is high, which could result in investors looking for even more places to invest their cash such as Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies.

⭐ Merited by bones261 (1)
Max Keiser, host of his financial program Keiser Report stated that Bitcoin has the potential to have a major role in the modern global financial world due to its fundamental value.

On New Year’s Day with Keiser Report, it was pointed out that Germany is currently working on an alternative to the current system Swift, which is the global financial payment network based out of Belgium, but was said that United States is the leader in the network.

“A replacement to that [SWIFT] begins the end of the US Dollar hegemony. Bitcoin also emerged in 2009, and that is starting to take over and get bigger despite de price crash… The prices are down … But in terms of where Bitcoin is going, you and I have been involved with this space since 2011, we’ve seen it crash 94% in 2011, and it crashed something like 88 to 91% in 2013, 2014, 2015… So we’ve seen a few of these crashes, but what I do know from experience … In the past, during these previous crashes, a lot of building took place during that time, robust companies were built. They were no longer distracted, engineers are not distracted by price increases of 10, 20 or 30% a week”

Final pump before full capitulation?
by
mycoinrisk
on 21/12/2018, 04:49:50 UTC
I believe that this is a final pump before we touch $2,000 levels. Bitmain is buying a bunch of BCH in order to successfully file for IPO, due to their existing poor earnings report. Some kind of manipulation is occurring right now, and I believe it will not sustain.

Re: Is crypto capable of making the world go digital?
by
mycoinrisk
on 18/10/2018, 20:14:56 UTC
This is very possible. The Blockchain technology is a revolutionary one with a lot of significance. As the people become more familiar with it, the adoption and utilization of the Blockchain and cryptocurrency will increase which will gradually lead the world to cashless.

100%!!!! At the rate we are growing as a society, the need for a worldwide currency that is digital is in high demand, and will most likely be adopted within the next 100 years.  Grin Grin Grin Grin

COINBASE is the way to go when purchasing bitcoins. Most trusted, been in the game for years now... I wouldn't reccomend buying elsewhere just because its so secure.
