- New DPOS with election model
- No matter how big the platform gets synchronization will only take minutes instead of days
- Platform will receive annual security audits by 3rd party
- Unique platform taking the best from previous blockchain systems

Hey all, wanted to update everyone. The current Methuselah blockchain is being used to capture sensor data as a demonstration of the track & trace system that will run on the Methuselah v2 platform. Sensors are capturing relevant soil and moisture data and are successfully transmitting the data to the blockchain. The block explorer is currently displaying the information that it receives on the blockchain for public view.

The new platform is all planned out and currently under heavy development. Current initial base implementations include TCP networking, P2P, internal communication bus, cryptographic functions, keypair setup, database interface, and initial development on the various modules (accounts & tracking).

Hey everyone,

I wanted to give a quick update on our progress and Methuselah's future.

Instead of regurgitating the same old flow of every other altcoin in the ecosystem. The SAP team has decided to implement a specific use case for the Methuselah blockchain.  After several discussions internally amongst the core team, we have agreed that a botanicals tracking system would be a perfect fit for the image of Methuselah and our desire to have a positive impact on the world.

Imagine being able to scan a QR code on a purchased natural product and having the power to truly see each step of the product's  existence.  Everything will be tracked, from the location it was grown  to the chemicals used, including all distribution and processing methods.  Not to mention the increase in safety, user awareness, and faster response to potential hazards.  The blockchain provides an ideal solution to these issues.

The change - the payment gateway, zerocoin, etc. will be replaced with "SAP-Tracking" related information.

Methuselah's trademark is being transparent with the community. We regret selling the node, but exchange listing fees have skyrocketed over the past year. Methuselah is comprised of a relatively small team compared to other coins and we pride ourselves on the quality of product we produce with such limited resources.

We do plan to wait for CryptoBridge instead of steering people to untrusted websites. Methuselah supports decentralization and what DEX's stand for.

As for our difficulty algorithm, it is developed by the infamous Zawy and has been tested on a wide range of different coins. Our chain survived the hash attack and we are extremely proud with the overall performance of Methuselah's difficulty algorithm under this real world stress test when difficulty jumped 23x in a matter of moments.

Methuselah has many future technologies already within it's code such as segwit and lightning network capability. We are a small but dedicated team of developers intent on bringing you a coin that is ready for anything the future can throw at it.

Nethash has been fluctuating quite a bit and we also have been blasted by Nethash quite a few times (people want to stack that SAP!). Please check out the other pools on our discord in the pools channel. I am currently on Queen Bee mining pool to spread out the hashes and it is working great.

We appreciate the kind words, launch has gone extremely smooth due to rigorous testing before release. We just released our brand new block explorer, and the white paper is our next goal. It is very close to completion and we are putting on the final touches. Expect it to be released in the coming week.

We recently had a new release of our client and had to bring all of pool operators up to speed. Thank you for the catch! This has been resolved.
