Hi, I read the jl777 Q&A on reddit and I just learned that DEX profits go to the DEX coin hodlers. Where can I find out more about this? I looked all through komodoplatform.com and couldn't find anything. Are there any other coins in the Komodo ecosystem (besides KMD) that are useful?

I'm sorry, I'm super confused here,
I made a great decision and got myself some KMD! And this interest staking this is so awesome, that's what like sold me on it.
But ya
You know like so I use Agama,
Agama's Awesome!
and it says "claim interest"
So like, I do.
But then nothing.
So I wait 2 hours, and still, so like...nothing.
So, how long does it take to claim interest? Should I be worried after 2 hours if still in limbo?

Help? I look online, others have problems claiming interest too, but none of them ever got an answer.

Due to a change of my wallet-adress (because of claiming interests) i´m no longer able to access my KMD.
I used Agama v0.2.0.22 and this one worked fine for me. Since yesterday i get an error (debug) while loading.
I decided to install a newer version of agama on a different laptop.
But if i put in my old seed, the balance is 0 because with that seed i only have access to the old adress.
I found the wallet.dat in my komodo folder, but how to import this file in agama ?

Sam, Please take a backup Of wallet.dat from old system and replace in your laptop and resync your wallet.
Before to do this activity, take backup of wallet.dat file backup on both sides.

So our old accounts will have our old KMD balances and we can withdraw once the site is back up?
Payouts happen only on January 15th,
Yes, OLD Accounts can still use Seeds to retrieve KMD funds after payout. Explorer is your friend.

I think paper wallet is the best. You only need to keep your private key. To "stake" Komodo you don't need a physical wallet. You just need a wallet that you control. That means any Komodo native, lite, or paper wallet. Now you can even claim interest from the Ledger wallet.
How on earth you stake KMD on a paper wallet? I am curious.
5% interest acquiring can be done on any wallet, even paper wallet. in komodo we have special mechanism in code where in a transaction if nlocktime is set, you are eligible for 5% interest annually.

What do you think is holding KMD back from having as big of a market cap as other similar projects like NEO and EOS?
IMHO all this wallet BS is the main thing.......this project launched on 01/09/2016......461 days and virtually every page on this thread has people struggling with wallets.

Agreed that the wallet issues have been a major problem, and it is bewildering why it was considered so low priority and has taken so long to fix.
It doesn't matter how hard the dev team works or how great the tech is, if the wallet is literally unusable this is a major and frustrating stumbling point that will turn many people away.
Having said that, once the wallet all the other teething issues have been sorted out hopefully the project will really take off and all the fantastic work jl777 and the rest of the team have done on a daily basis will be better recognized and appreciated.
On short term the wallet issues are not good for new users. They could get frustrated indeed. But this is new tech and it takes time to develop properly. In the mid-long term this period will be forgotten and you will be happy to joined Komodo!
The Agama wallet on debian stretch doesn't work in lite mode. It says:
Connection error!

In native mode it works fine. The blockchain is downloaded within one or two hours.

I dont recommend you to go with Bootstrap, recommended Full blockchain download on windows takes 12 hrs. Sweet and safest way on native mode.

my agama wallet is super buggy too. When i asked for help in the slack i got decent support. But the steps i have to go through are way too overwhelming. I am not a coder, why do i need to do stuff in CMD window to get it to work properly? Ive been postponing to solve my issues for weeks because i find it too hard to do.
Agama wallet is in beta phase, You face some problems but definitely you can overcome. We recommend untill full sync process to go with command line and after you can switch back to Gui version.
because, syncing process takes lot of time and which needs some patience.

Ive already tried re-installing everything and deleting all the old stuff, no luck. Is there another wallet I can use to import my Komodo or am I stuck with the non working agama?
The wallet here (https://support.supernet.org/support/solutions/articles/29000013936-installing-and-using-agama-for-the-first-time-on-windows-and-updating-gui-) is the latest version for Windows and running it in native mode is the most stable, there is no other wallet I am aware of that I can suggest as an earlier version worked for me, but then stopped.
All I can suggest is that you remove everything and restart your pc to make sure it is gone and then try to reinstall again... windows can be finnicky with this stuff and leave files lying around.
The best idea is to join the supernet slack (http://slackinvite.supernet.org/) and see if someone can help you in real-time.
I have a macbook, can someone link me to the MAC agama wallet link? I'll give it one more try, lets hope it works this time.

So I re-downloaded agama again and tried to install it. It said there was an older version so it asked weather I want to "Uninstall" the features and start new or "reinstall current version" and it doesn't matter which one I click on I keep getting the following error:
