Re: Primedice.com | Since 2013 | Longest Running Crypto Casino | 113 BTC Jackpot!

Did Eddie tell anything about Primedice during the last weekly live stream of Stake?

The only thing I heard was that it was difficult to transfer VIP ranking from prime to stake (which for me is just bullshit).

Today I received an email from prime with this
"Exclusive sign-up offer for you!"

Receive an exclusive $xxxx sign-up bonus when you register on Stake using the same email address associated with your Primedice account.
Sign up and verify your account up to Level 2, and if accepted by 1PM (UTC) on Monday 25 August 2025, you'll receive a $xxxx bonus on Tuesday 26 August 2025.

The only problem issue is when they already have both PD and Stake account. Maybe add the wager?

yep, add the wager for existing stake users

a VIP transfer from primedice to stake would be cheaper as it does not cost them money in my view

between having that option or getting paid for the current VIP level, I prefer the first option but surely understand why people would choose the 2nd one.

Re: Exchange warning about using crypto for gambling

thank you for your perspectives, very good insights.

Thing is I cannot be sure that the exchange themselves did not update the terms and conditions

So, where do they draw the line?
As said gambling is allowed in my country.

I cannot use USDT or none of the leverage products (due to Mica regulation in europe), but the exchange still allow USDT to non-europeans.
People like to use whatever they want with crypto, investing in meme coins such as TRUMP coin, for me that is worst than gambling.
Reason why I prefer these instead of fiat sportsbooks is all about settlement, I can immediate withdraw and receive funds in my account/wallet, isn't that reason enough?
I hate banks but we cannot leave without them, even worse ECB will get us all "digital euro" in October which surely have restrictions in place (such as not allowed to use funds for gambling)

Exchange warning about using crypto for gambling
by
nakisama
on 23/05/2025, 18:46:50 UTC
This happened to me this week.

Am a sports gambler for many years, I know, it is a vice but my only one and I gamble with my hard-earned money.
This week I received a warning from a big exchange about the fact that I deposited fiat and immediately withdrew to a gambling site.
Well, I have been doing this as well for many years and so far there was no complain from their side.

I am fully KYC'ed with the exchange for some years, they know how much I earn per month and they can easily see that deposited amounts are within my means.

I went checking the terms and conditions and it is true that they do mention internet gambling as one of the prohibited activities.
Thing is, gambling is allowed in my country of residence.
Plus, the gambling sites I use are big known names, with valid licenses, not shady casinos.

Have to be careful now so it seems as for sure I will be monitored thoroughly now.

Did this happen to anyone else?

Would using an intermediary wallet to receive gambling funds be the solution?

I'm not sure why, but for some reason the webpage just doesn't want to leave here it's like it's stuck or something.

Is it me or a general issue?

no, you are not the only one

Re: Diamond 5 Stake, account was hacked

some suggestions I gave to stake after suffered a phising loss of 1k myself

-IP connection: if a new session starts from a different IP in a matter of minutes (or even if that IP was never used by that user) force the user to confirm it is really him (some sites do this) via email. For the record, stake does not allow user to change the email by themselves.

-I was KYC verified. Still to this day stake sends their promotional emails addressing me by the stake username and not by my real name

-claim of bonuses through email links. Instead why not credit them directly to the users account (using their vault for example?). If bonus can only be claimed within a time frame then they can simply remove it as unclaimed. Or implement a notification system in stake where bonus links would have to be clicked from within the account only. Making users to check if email is legit or not with a VIP assistant is very unpractical

-deposit and withdrawal. Don't use by default any address used in the past. Force users to input them for each transaction.

-withdrawals: make them a two step process, user requests the withdrawal but then send an email with link to confirm the withdrawal. If not clicked, nothing happens. This at least seems to be minimised with the 2fa.

-hidden stats: making users unhide their bets to be eligible to bonuses seems to be just another way of tracking them especially when their email is similar to their stake username

In my case I did not get anything back (was not expecting it honestly as it was really my mistake).
This happened in 2021 and apart from the 2fa I don't see that anything has changed

But the truth is most don't like to see transfers coming in without any reason.
That's the only thing I don't like from non-KYC exchanges. I'm afraid that I'll have to explain myself sometime in the future, as it's a matter of time to trade with someone who's considered a suspect.

Receiving money from people with names not common in the country where your bank is can raise alarms (it happened to me).
Could you tell us the country and the amounts? I'm curious to know at which amounts they "raise alarms" as you say. If there isn't a privacy concern of course. I've been using Revolut as well.

this happened about 2 years ago,
amounts received in revolut were always below 500 eur, I happened to have a very good month winning sports bets and was cashing the crypto out by p2p bank transfers.

no warning from the bank, they simply notified they were closing my account.
Could not see any other reason

Did you get your money back somehow?

yes, I never used it as main account, only few euros there when they informed me about the closure

⭐ Merited by NotATether (2)
banks in Europe are subject to the guidelines from the national banks, even if there is regulation trying to regulate crypto.

But the truth is most don't like to see transfers coming in without any reason.
Receiving money from people with names not common in the country where your bank is can raise alarms (it happened to me).

And it even does not matter how big they are, revolut was one of those that closed my account and had accounts with other neobanks from different countries, all ended up closing my account as soon as I told them I sold crypto.

bla bla bla, financing terrorism, AML, bla bla bla
they are all the same

I love stake as much as anyone but I have recently stopped playing here because one of my friends whom I know in real life got his funds locked and there was no apparent reason either apart from that he won big.

I understand all the KYC and stuff they need but blocking funds and keeping them is not a solution at all. I withdrew immediately all I had and now I am not playing here anymore until at least his problem is solved. No hate though and I am sure they must have a reason to ask for KYC but delaying and blocking his funds for weeks with no update is simply terrible.

Anyone who plays at stake, while they are great at bonuses, I feel KYC is becoming more of a necessity at this stage maybe because of the license or whatever.

Over 4 years on from when I initially joined, my account has been blocked due to not fulfilling KYC  (I have no intention to either).. Gutted to be honest but this will probably save me a few $$$ in the long run

All the best for the future Stake

Me too am thinking of just giving up with the KYC.
I have no issue with that as I have done it with other bookies but what they request is simply unreal

-Salary (even this is not guaranteed to be ok for them)
-Sales of shared or other investments / liquidation of investment portfolio / bonds
-Sale of property
-Inheritance
-Company sale
-A Gift from a family member or close relative
-Winning the Lottery
-Divorce settlement
-Loan
-Mining

has anyone managed to do their complete KYC levels?

level 4 is unrealistic, I can only provide 1 of the options and they keep rejecting it

-Salary
-Sales of shared or other investments / liquidation of investment portfolio / bonds
-Sale of property
-Inheritance
-Company sale
-A Gift from a family member or close relative
-Winning the Lottery
-Divorce settlement
-Loan
-Mining

Now, they add additional level and I am blocked from doing deposits or bets.
Was KYC verified since last year and on Platinum III level.

So Stake changed the KYC requirements without warning anyone

Plus, now with COVID situation it is impossible for me to get my salary slip signed, my company never did that and now with everyone working from home that is even a less possibility

Shouldn't I get the funds back from the original sender account?
