From telegram group regarding air drop:
Quote
Alright! You are about to become BAR Bounty Hunter🤠

Rule 1: Tell everyone about Titanium.

Rule 2: Tell EVERYONE about Titanium.

Rule 3: You HAVE TO register yourself with Titan. To do so, click on @tbis_bot and press the start button. Once the start button is pressed, you need to type 'Titan Bounty' in that chat itself and Titan will guide you.Once done, continue reading the rules here.

Rule 4: You can add how many ever people you want to this chat and get rewarded with Titanium BARs in return. MAKE SURE you add the person directly and NOT by sending them the group invite link.

Rule 5: You must then post the usernames you have added to the bounty thread on bitcointalk 1 time per week to receive your tokens.

•The Bitcointalk bounty link is:https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2526642

•VERY IMPORTANT: Read every instruction that Titan gives you carefully. People trying to cheat will be disqualified immidiately. Titan can automatically detect suspicious behaviour.

I got really excited reading about titanium, but then i tried to participate in their airdrop.  Are airdrops this tedious? I have to disclose all the people I invite? All my friends? There has to be a better way.

Getting into PoS v3 coins is a great idea. Just beware that the info on masternodes.pro is not correct, at least for some coins.

Check out https://masternodes.online/ and compare.

Thanks! Those are two things i haven't heard of before.  So PoS v3 == Proof of Stake v3.0? Okay thanks for more homework; time to do some more research!  Wink

Started off with CLAM long ago since it offered an airdrop with BTC, litecoin, and doge wallets.  As of now i'm staking wave, gobyte, diamond, and velox for various reasons.

What I hope to do is get into a few more with masternodes.  Thanks for the link https://masternodes.pro/  Wink

Re: Coinbase Prediction...

Coinbase will always add a top coin with trading history and liquidity first.
Ripple may be the top choice. Dash and Cardano maybe later in 2018 too.

I completely agree with this. The only think I really hope for is a clear criteria of what is needed to be listed.  Is it a specific market capital threshold? A listing fee, good history and for how long, certain technologies? This would help future altcoins get access to fiat->their altcoin.

Personally, i doubt that if a coin has a built-in decentralized exchange, coinbase would not have an incentive to add them to their own exchange so that might narrow down a few coins.

I have seen a lot of the *newer* coins on coinsmarket, maybe because it's easier to get listed than another exchanges.

Although I have not used them it might be easier to get coins from newly launched altcoins versus waiting for the coin to get accepted on much more popular and larger exchange.

Re: RaiBlocks (XRB) is going to be a top 10 coin

For XRB to be a top 10 coin in terms of market capital it would *currently* need to be ahead of Dash at $8.2 billion. Considering that RaiBlocks is rank 16th in market capital and to beat $8.2 billion, each XRB would need to be only $62. Is my math right? At the moment Raiblocks is at $29.09

Seems doable to me

Some are holding and working on writing a new BIP or are in the core code. Some don't have the technical background and just want the coin to improve itself.

Honestly I wouldn't want every 'rich' person committing code to the repo but that is just me.

What are some things that one can do to improve bitcoin? here's what I can think of:
  donate to the foundation
create a node, improve the network
  be active in the community

Re: Kyber ICO

I'm trying to find up to date details on kyber and there is no ANN at the moment.

Can someone tell me if this is still accurate in terms of fees:
Quote
As an example, for a trade volume of 10 ETH with a 0.01% fee, a corresponding 0.001 ETH worth of KNC will be paid by the chosen reserve to KyberNetwork as a fee for the use of the reserve dashboard and access to network users. Suppose the rate of KNC at the trading time is 1 KNC for 0.1 ETH, the reserve needs to pay 0.01 KNC to the Kyber platform. The wallet/ website that helped the user initiate the trade will get, supposedly, 5% of the fees, or 0.0005 KNC. The remaining 95% of the fees, or 0.0095 KNC will be burned and cease to exist in the entire ecosystem.

I don't believe I have come across a coin that "burns" part of the currency to reduce the amount in circulation, is this normal/good?

Re: If Bitcoin buble bursts eventually, how will Altcoins fare?
by
namor.tidal
on 01/01/2018, 19:53:20 UTC
Initially, all or mostly all Altcoins will follow and drop in value. I think if the cause for the drop involves regulation on bitcoin, hodlers of bitcoin will start selling and possibly start buying into alts with 'stealth/privacy' features, causing* those specific coin/token values to rise again.

What I find interesting is the idea of banning all 'cryptocurrencies'.  I do not think that would not work. Many businesses have adopted the gen1 and gen2 cyptocurrencies into their business plan and product/services lines.  See Deloitte, American express, Monster Technologies, IBM stellar, and the list can go on. If you know of others, send me a PM and educate me please  Grin

Regulation is the most probable in my opinion.

Dogecoin updates in the way?
https://www.reddit.com/user/ummjackson
[–]ummjackson 6 points 5 days ago
I've received a lot requests to change the supply cap (removing the 10k static block rewards), which I strongly disagree with. Others want to change PoW algo and do other things all in an attempt to try and drive up the price. If you change any of these things, it's not Dogcoin imo.
You can follow progress on the dev branch of the Github repo, I'm fairly sure: https://github.com/dogecoin/dogecoin/tree/1.14-dev

Dogecoin price ticker:
Đ1 = Đ1.1337
https://www.reddit.com/r/dogecoin/

Đ1 = Đ1 The new Dogecoin to Dogecoin exchange!
https://www.reddit.com/r/dogecoin/comments/7nfg5s/1ð_1ð_the_new_dogecoin_to_dogecoin_exchange/

Yay thanks for the updates, and if anyone 'watched' the repo like i mention previously you would wake up to several changes from rnicoll and maxk. News is good and thank you developers

dev team need to come back! rebuilt a  new wallet for community! maybe add some function like Tor  or MasterNode or something else!
if we can do that! dogecoin is strong altcoin and great community! not just to the moon, to the sun is ok too!

Please star or 'watch' their github repo at https://github.com/dogecoin/dogecoin

There has been active development to make a new wallet release for v1.14; currently in the form as pull requests. currently 10 tickets closed and 6 tickets open for milestone 1.14

By watching the repo, you get friendly emails of activity -- a nice feature if you ask me

Vega is cryptonite monster, true, but in other algos it is not that superior. Pretty much limiting. 1080 ti is the king still for the time being.

How much of a cryptonite monster are you talking about? by a lot?

So it looks like wallet version 9 is out:
https://github.com/clemahieu/raiblocks/releases/

However I ended up downloading version 8 because the links are dated on raiblocks.net.  Can we please update the links to all platforms so new people(like me) download the latest and greatest?

Thanks

I have to admit, I hodl a lot of altcoins but i sold some to get in on XRB.  I only regret not getting in sooner and only found out about Raiblocks from a close friend.  There a lot of room to grow valuation wise, even after the recent bump.  Everybody loves instant transactions and no fees.

My user experience:
So I used some of my LTC funds on coinbase to send to bitgrail. Keep in mind i just created an account with bitgrail, but no big issues; it forced me to use 2FA, but i'm fine with that.  The wait for 6 confirmations was a bit unbearable for my LTC, maybe I should have used my doge or ether but I just have a lot more lite to spare (35 minute wait).

After the 6 confirmations my funds were still pending, maybe 7 or 8 were needed, or just some lag interference, but after my funds cleared I finally got some XRB. There were some GUI issues when placing my order, but nothing to go into a lot of detail in other than I needed to refresh the page once and a while.  Over all, I am very happy and exciting with my first transactions in XRB, and to think that they will be instant is a bit incomprehensible to me right now but I welcome it!

Thanks community
