X11 isnt profitable at all right now so thats probly why we havent heard anything from genesis about it. I really wish they would just let us mine at our own pools with our hash. I would buy more and not even bitch about the payouts if they would do that, the first cloud company to make that happen will make alot of money.

Agree. Killer feature.

Re: Transaction non confirmée
by

https://en.bitcoin.it/wiki/Change

Ok, I looked at source code : block reward changes every week (10080 blocks) starting from block number 15000 (where genesiscoin hardforked I suppose).

So block reward will be :

12000 from block 75480 (60480 + 15000) to block 85559 (75480 + 10080 - 1).
9000 from block 85560 to block 95639
6000 from block 95640 to block 105719
3000 from block 105720 to block 115799

PoS from block 115800

Halving will occur soon : 18000 block reward to 9000.

It's not halving but just reduction from 18000 to 15000. But it should have happened at block 60480 (6 x 10080)... and the reward is still 18000  Huh

This one seems actually quite interesting.

Sure it is. There will be about 2 billions of this coin (less in fact as I suppose some are lost) at the end of the PoW period, four weeks from now. This coin is worth much more than 1 satoshi comparing other shitcoins...

It just needs a better support and a marketplace like Mintpal...

I think people are selling darkcoin to move into dogecoin because of the halvening!
Not really. The last halving didn't do anything.

Halving could result a lost of nethash. As WC has halved one hour later Nethash also halved.

Doge nethash won´t half, but where to go with you scrypt rig ?

Or the dogecoin value doubles and you earn as much with half the hashrate Smiley

With the current difficulty you can solomine successfully. I'm finding about 10 blocks a day with a lowend HD5770 (so 10 x 18000 with diff 0.05).

Antivirus just alerted that genesiscoin-qt.exe is a virus of the variant Trojan.Win32.ircbot.cpo. Originally it did not detect it - not even during scheduled anti virus checks that I periodically do. Somebody else experienced something?

Mine is clean :

In my opinion, if you want to save this coin :

- clean the genesiscoind source code for Linux. I wanted to install a daemon on one of my servers and the build failed at first, then after correcting few minor issues, I finally obtained a Windows genesiscoind.exe  Huh EDIT : my bad, it's ok

- web site must be on again

- swisscex GNS market is still alive but they will close it if nobody buys a little

- you can vote 5 times per hour on mintpal

Remember, instead of crying on big daytraders, the best you can do to protect your investment on this coin is to point your miners on http://blackcoinpool.com/.

If anyone has some doubts that whales are toying with small traders..., look for sales order 477 BTC wall which was pulled in 50000 sat, just insane Huh

Return to reality dude. If you believe this coin will succeed then buy and shutdown your computer. If you don't care long term project, just do day trading. All we are seeing actually is daytraders game.

this coin is dead

Only coins with no trade are dead. This coin is having a huge trade volume so it is far from dead.
