I'd say Vega 56 / 64. Price is ultra cheap. Bellow 300€ and with modded timings you get over 2500 h/s on CN and over 50 mh/s on ethash.

Every combo I've tried on Polaris (even translating modded bios strap values) results in a crash to blue screen for me. At this stage, I'd say this tool is unusable for Polaris cards.

I have noticed that if you throw out --cl value it doesn't crash when applying string. So it must be some bug in applying --CL. Also the timings are reset to default when i run miner. If i apply them while mining - Bluescreen.

-i 0 --cl 18 --w2r 17 --r2w 25 --rc 61 --rrd 5 --rcdra 20 --rcdr 20 --rcdwa 14 --rcdw 14 --rfc 148 --trp 19 --rp_rda 22 --rp_wra 48 --t32aw 0 --crcwl 6 --crcrl 2 --faw 0 --pa2wdata 0 --pa2rdata 0 --RASMACTWR 47 --RASMACTRD 41 --ACTWR 15 --ACTRD 16 --RAS2RAS 148 --rp 39 --wrplusrp 49 --bus_turn 22

But for me this tool is unnusable because when applying timings it gives artifacts and crashes driver no matter which timings i apply (Polaris - rx570 & rx580).
I got the values by decoding hex values of timings with R_Timing1.03 tool.

Probably edit the -i 0 part.  It might not be the actual GPU and someone might accidentally apply it on some other GPU.

Of course it is the actual gpu. I have only 1 card in my test / moding machine  Wink

Can somebody compile it for Windows? I have a few unmoded 570 that i can try and report.

tnx

Ummm.  Read the title, read the OP you'll find the answer Smiley

Read that before. Don't want to go through installing visual studio just to build this..

Funny title. Radeons RX470 bought in 2016 for 165€ are hashing ethash 29.2 MH/s and Cryptonight V4 @ 1000 H/s. Consuming around 90 watts. So yeah 1600 series are "significantly" better than everything else  Cheesy Wink

Mining directly to exchange does not work as you have to specify payment id. Miner can't login to nanopool using:
-u address.payment-id.user

However it works using:
-u address.user

Can you fix login to pool with payment-id included so i can mine directly to exchange?

Thank you.

Highly optimized 13x RX480 rigs, custom per card bios, etc. 0 invalid shares, 24ms accept time, on eth1.ethermine.org
Was running perfeclty stable for weeks with 11.1

Witih 11.2, 11.3 and 11.4 crashes all the time.
Hash rate increases but there is no point in it if I have to lower the memclocks to keep the cards from crashing.

Back to 11.1 and stable again, relatively high stale rate (5-15%). 0 invalid shares. 24ms accept time.
Back to 10.6 and lowered stale rate even more (2%).

For me, I'll stay with 10.6
Or can you think of any cons?

Try Phoenix miner, low stales, high hash, stable.

Switched to Phoenix miner after being years on Claymore. Phoenix is more lightweight, produces almost same hashrate and is more stable. Stale shares went drastically down. And Claymore had a huge problem for some of my rigs, it was switching between pools like crazy, constantly droping out the connection to main pool. Phoenix fixed this.

My rigs forced update to Win 10 Fall Creators edition. However i get strange problem. GPU0 on x16 port hashrate always stays at 0h/s and then crashes. This happens on all rigs. Your ZEC miner works ok. I tried various drivers from blockchain beta to latest adrenalin (switched to compute mode) and it is always the same. Anybody has a solution??

Thanks.
Do you have a monitor connected to GPU0? if not, either connect a monitor or a dummy display plug.

No i didn't have, because it wasn't needed before. Will order dummy plugs.

Safest settings for me with striped timings are (HIS RX470 Hynix and Elpida):
- 1050 mhz core @ 0.9mv
- 1850 mhz mem @ 0.9mv
- 26.5 mh/s - single mining eth
