Re: What we can expect the price of eth at the end of 2020?
by

This is hard to predict, of course the more the better, because I now hold about 10 Eth Grin, but I don't think it will reach $1000 by the end of 2020,  $500-$600 is already a good enough price for me.

Re: Invest with due diligence and proceed with caution
by

on 10/09/2020, 02:15:15 UTC
I just check the index, it's now 41% FEAR.

And if there is something that we have learned in 2017 boom and bust,  Do not be irrational, look at the charts. Don't FOMO, but it seems that no one really doing their due diligence specially new comers in crypto space. They just throw their money specially in this Defi hype, and sad to say, the cycle will continue, specially in 2021 wherein it is forecasted that it will be a bull run, so let's see.
It's not an easy job to do their own due diligence, In fact, many people don't even know how to do their own due diligence, They just follow the crowd.
Another thing: Every once in a while there will be a new virtual currency, now the cost is too low, if you know a little about programming, it is easy to make a virtual currency, the key is the maintenance and promotion in the future. There are too many of them, you don't even have time to verify.

Re: What are the best ways of introducing someone to bitcoin ?
by
nathanaelung
on 10/09/2020, 02:04:09 UTC
This is not a very simple thing, it might be very simple to introduce to them, but it is very difficult to know exactly how to operate. In fact, I also spent a lot of time to learn about BTC, but now I am still not sure that I know BTC.
It's best to get their attention first and then let them learn for themselves, if they're still interested.
Show them the potential of bitcoin. You can also give them some value, as well as share the knowledge you have.
Show them the returns bitcoin can bring to their investors.

Yes, That might be a good strategy, But you also have to tell them about the risks.

Re: Binance in trouble over listing scam defi token
by

I honestly don't think that SUSHI will be an exit scam more like pump and dump is expected but advertising such a coin on an exchange especially Binance where many users trust will surely affect their credibility and reputation among traders, although it is listed on their exchange no one also expected that the founder or SUSHI will exit with the profits, He's right we're responsible for our actions but he can prevent it from happening tho. That's why you need to expect the unexpected in crypto.
This really turned my stomach sour. I traded sushi a while ago and didn't have problems with it..... still fingers crossed

It happened A lot lately. The madness is to much to process, I even had to take a week break to get my game together..... if you're confused, you should do that too, get some rest and fresh air. Don't spend too much time watching the market.

Re: It is not easy to make money in cryptocurrency
by
nathanaelung
on 10/09/2020, 01:50:07 UTC
It is definitely not easy to make fast money in the crypto market. In my situation participating in bounties are only a hobby. Be careful by joining airdrops that will only steal your data.
There's no place that making money is easy, Just like any other business, It takes time and effortto find a way to make money, you just have to find what works for you and surf the waves.
bounties hunting could be a simple way to make some money, but just like EL-NIDO said, you need to be careful.

Re: Can Crypto be more valuable than gold?
by
nathanaelung
on 10/09/2020, 01:32:20 UTC
This question will only lead to speculation about these two valuable asset. I love bitcoin as well as gold as an investment asset but both have their own advantages and disadvantages and should be accepted by everyone. Gold has been around for centuries and is used by world commodities, while bitcoin exist as a transparent decentralized currency. As a payment system, bitcoin is superior to gold because of the ease of transaction but bitcoin is only a decade old. These two assets will continue to be compared, to determine which one is the best in my opinion depending on how we accept the risk.
They are two different systems, gold is an entity, more recognized by people and governments, and BTC as a virtual currency is more convenient in transactions, but many places can not use BTC transactions, with the further development of the Internet, there may be more and more merchants accept BTC as a means of monetary payment.

Re: Why people are buying when the price is going up and not when it is down
by
nathanaelung
on 10/09/2020, 01:20:56 UTC
Just like stocks, people buy when price is up and don't when the price is down, thinking they are on the trend, and the profits will be bigger, but the market is hard to predict, especially for many people, Cryptocurrency and it's trading is  completely new thing to learn, sadly it'll take considerable losses to teach them how to surf the waters without sinking.

Re: Will Ethereum overpower Bitcoin in the future? Which side are you on?
by

Personally, I don't think etherum will ever take over kingship from BTC. Btc is now and will be the dominant virtual currency for a long time to come, although many of the current virtual currencies are based on Ethereum.

Re: Is Buy and Hold Really the Best Strategy in Crypto?
by
nathanaelung
on 10/09/2020, 00:59:38 UTC
I don't think to buy and hold virtual currency is a good strategy, The prices of virtual currency are not particularly stable now, especially when the government introduced various policies, a virtual currency may subsequently rose or crash. Decentralized temporarily can only meet the requirements of us about privacy, in my eyes, virtual currency has not yet become something like gold.

Re: How to know if the project is fake?
by
nathanaelung
on 10/09/2020, 00:41:52 UTC
a pretty good way to identify his team. Another way to identify a fake project is, sometimes you can see it from inaccurate team information, and it's quite new to social media. besides, their concept and website look unprofessional. some projects sometimes provide a sizeable bonus, at a fantastic discount. to be honest there are many ways to identify a project that is a scam or has the potential to be a scam or not. however, some of them are clever enough to cover it all, so sometimes people need escrow and a trusted third party for payment issues.
What if those fake projects actually mask their IP addresses. I mean, if that's the only way to find out if a project is fake then it'll going to be really problematic, I must say. But then, I feel proper research on the team members and their history does it for me.

Re: Corona Vaccine

I think this vaccine is a bit rushed. They need to make more trials before selling it
Agreed, it is a little bit rushed to launch Vaccine, it usually take years to test Vaccine, not months. We have no idea about the side effects, also the virus is mutating according to the news, will it really work? I am not so sure about it.

I'm also not the fan of hastely developed Vaccines , the long-term effects of this Vaccine are yet to be seen. But, older people will probably take the chance...
Just As I suspected, some of the vaccines may have serious side effects, and astrazeneca has now suspended testing of their new vaccine.

I’m teaching myself Japanese now. It’s not that easy. It’s better to find a teacher and spend some money. It’s really worth it. They tell you exactly what to do and how to learn the most in the least amount of time. There are quite a lot of video tutorials out there, but you will find it very difficult to discover the mistake when you speak.

Re: How to get rid of a computer virus.
by

The best way to kill viruses is to format your hard drive a few times and reinstall your system, but before you do that, make sure you back up your data. It’s all very simple. There are lots of tutorials online. If you can’t do that, you’ll have to use antivirus software, and Kaspersky is pretty good.

Re: Planning to have small business this pandemic? #covid

Planning to establish business now is very risk due to corona virus,i don't thinks is very idea to establish business now.
I agree, it’s not a good time to start a new business, the virus is spreading, the vaccine isn’t out yet, we don’t know what’s going to happen tomorrow, and it’s not a good time, people are starting to run out of money. It’s best to leave things as they are and see where things go from there.
