It amazes me this coin is still not on exchanges. Considering how many places accept it as means of payment.

If not we will have to travel to Catalonia to spend croats.
If it becomes popular, you will find a way to sell them to someone in Catalonia, be it on an exchange, ebay or whatever.

Those who hate Ripple because it's centralised, what do you think about Stellar? It looks to me to work the same way as Ripple (5 seconds transactions) but it's not owned by banks. Is it any better or is it the same in the end?

I agree with some of the altcoins in your list, but I also would want to change some. I agree with the first three, but for the last two I would change it to Monero and Stellar. I think the last two altcoins mentioned have shown better trend that would actually amount to an increase in value better than the one in the list. Also, another thing to consider is the kind of investment that you would do, if you're gunning for a short term investment, Ripple, LTC and Stellar would be the better choice, but for long term, Eth and Monero would be my vote.
Lumen is Stellar, isn't it?

The coin has no position on Catalan Independence. AFAIK, it's meant to be a coin for all Catalans, whether Catalonia is part of Spain or not.

Devs look to be busy since they don't show up here too often, but they do respond to emails (I recently applied to test the Android app).

The development team itself might not even be Catalan or are you? No, I am not Catalan. I was following the original Catalonian coin, which was abandoned both by devs and the "community". I really doubt there is even a single Catalan on Bitcointalk
. Catalans are probably busy with something else. Maybe they are busy fighting for freedom Or by making money somewhere else There are just people who speculate and want to earn some bucks on popular trend. All we know that pretty well.
I don't know the devs but based on their posts I'd say they are catalan.

It is possible, I've done it for a while, but I switched to pool mining since you get a more constant flow of coins. If you solo mine you may be a day or two without getting any coins and one day get a lot. Honestly, I don't know which is better in the long run.
