How true is the post above me?

Was that resolved already?

Stunna already replied a couple pages before. On PD side it is marked as resolved. I dont know why he is still posting this, he got more btc than he lost or would have won...

Everything is 100% true, I have a log of email detailing everything. It was not resolved, despite opinions like the one above. This post explains exactly what happened. Do you think that reply from the 'developer' counts as resovled? I have been provided NO PROOF whatsoever.

No, it has been resolved. See Stunna's quote. You're just a sad sad human being who is spewing bullshit to try and get an extra buck out of it. And the amount of time you spend on it is truly pathetic.

I am seriously surprised at how blindly this community follows Stunnas word. If you had looked at the matter from start to finish you would see it has not been correctly resolved at all. That is why I will continue to dispute the matter, anyone with brains will see my point.

Were given the btc you disputing?

I sometimes wonder if Bitcointalk.org will be able to sustain the amount of constant influx of new users and tons of posts daily. Will the site ever become an invite only sort of thing? (you need an invitation of someone to register). This has happened with most forums that reach an insanely big amount of traffic. If Bitcoin goes mainstream I can see how could this happen.

They cant do that. Bitcointalk will cater as much as bitcoin users as possible. Its their job to upgrade the site to cater the influx.
The reason it will be able to handle the influx of people is because more users on the site mean high ad revenue, and more ad revenue means more money to pay for servers and bandwidth to handle more users.

I would also highly doubt that bitcointalk would ever go to a "invite only" model. They may halt new account registrations if accounts are getting registered too quickly (as they have done before)

That is correct the site is not only here to educate us but also to make money. I dont know how much they get from ads, but I know its a lot.

Year's not over folks!  (Tips cap to Paypal)

Year's not over.  Still got 3 months to make something miraculous happen!

Come on Amazon.  Come on Google.  Need another major player to light the moon rocket.

We just got another major player

I don't think bitcoin has the necessary infrastructure to handle Amazon yet.  The amount of volume that Amazon does - even if bitcoin captured 0.1% of their orders, which is unlikely, it'd be a massive amount of orders.  For a player the size of Amazon to adopt bitcoin, they'd need one of two things: either a proper hedging platform so that they could hedge away the massive price fluctuations of bitcoin, or a widespread enough bitcoin adoptions that they could hold bitcoin directly and pay their suppliers with bitcoin instead of dollars.  I'd prefer option two, personally, but we're many years away from THAT widespread an adoption of bitcoin.

It takes time to build the infrastructure. Paypal has teamed up with 3 major BTC payment processors. That will help the infrastructure and adoption. Slowly we are getting there.

Right now, there is not yet any feedback about this.. Let us just wait..

3,Gov will ban it, because it is anonymous and can not be controlled. People can use btc buy illegal goods like drugs and guns,  and may not pay tax. Or terrorists will use btc to fund terrorism activities.

You are correct.. Government will interfere and then bitcoin will have a good fight but then it will stop and bitcoin will die.
