You covered it quite well.

Thank you. Feel like others need to understand this "free" model as well. To bad many wont read it because its a long text.

Another example of good hyped project is POS Token. They had free airdrops too. Now their Token cost 1$+-. I think that only devs win in such situations with similiar coins  Smiley

In my opinion the level of transparency of PoSToken in unquestionable. They showed since first moment the contracts of the dev team for development and the first move they made they told in atecipation the community they would do it.

The only movement they did on their funds was 15k tokens that they sold out of the exchanges to not drive the price down and the funds were for a Coinexchange listing. All the other funds from the dev team are intact and they shared 800k tokens out of 1 million. That is 80% and nothing near what we see in the this DeepOnion in question.

First, I'm not stating this because I'm jealous, I'mpurely concerned with the project health and stability.

With current distribution model you say" hold and you will get more" so here are some things to look for:

How will one get the chance to hold more and gain more weight in the airdrop distribution if there are several members adding 3000 to 7000 more tokens each week to their weight?

Hw will a newcomer with 100 onions, receiving 7 Onions per airdrop keep up with that weight of those above with 7k weekly onions?

How will you generate interest to those getting 7 Onions a week for them to keep supporting and using DeepOnion signature? Specially legendary and hero members that join us, how motivated will they be to use the signatures in this conditions?

Who will use Deeponion signature and support it for 7 Onion a week, while some get 6000 to 7000 Onions each week?

This aint a good form of distribution for the project. Rich more rich and others getting 7 Onions a week which they could get in a giveaway our bountie.

Re: What happens when bitcoins are lost
by
nazzzzz
on 24/10/2017, 23:29:32 UTC
When you loses wallet, it has the effect of removing money out of circulation. Lost bitcoins still remain in the block chain just like any other bitcoins. However, lost bitcoins remain dormant forever because there is no way for anybody to find the private key(s) that would allow them to be spent again. Because of the law of supply and demand, when fewer bitcoins are available, the ones that are left will be in higher demand and increase in value to compensate.

That is basically it, they vanish. Pretty much what would happen with money people lose all the time but in this case more money is printed, thats what makes bitcoin desired, the limited supply.

Re: Problem of nowadays ICOs
by
nazzzzz
on 23/10/2017, 23:19:55 UTC
I think that could be part of the problem, as same goes for all the other stablished projects around, people just wanna updates and news so they can sell their position at a higher value they have purchased and then move on to the next project. They dont care about the project, they care about the investment. Not to mention several ICOs here that don't fit in the blockchain tech and could be done with conventional systems years ago and are just recicled ideas.

Re: Has the BTG fork pumped up of BTC price already finished?
by
nazzzzz
on 23/10/2017, 13:19:46 UTC
Because I have just read that the fork takes place in about 118 more blocks (less than 19 hours) and ATH was two days ago..

All the answers you can get are purely speculative because none can really know or control that but if we go for the logical perspective I would say the pump for the BTG has already happened and we will see a dip after in the next days. This is just my opinion though.

when u have a look at the altcoin markets u will see that nearly all altcoins are close to there bottom.... so u can pick up several cheap coins these days/weeks....

But if you invest right now exchanging bitcoin for the alts, sure  you getting more alts but you are also throwing away bitcoin in its highest fiat value ever. So why not sell bitcoin for fiat, wait for it to take a dip, rebuy bitcoin and then invest in alts.

Capitalization $ 100 billion

price ratio 6030 $

How do you think this year is coming?

Comment and be part of the story !!

It's insane! Can you imagine in the beggining of this year bitcoin was traded at $767? Everything is happening so fast and there is still so much to come. If it hits $8000 before the end of the year thats going to be huuuuuge, but I personally think we only gonna hit $6500 in whats left this year!

It's ambitious but IMO it's not impossible. WE have already seen some strange things in crypto and some event can happen in two years that will make bitcoin mainstream for example the inclusion in amazon and other big corporations. Its gonna be hard  to reach that value, but it's not impossible.

Re: Is ICO regulation good or bad?
by
nazzzzz
on 17/10/2017, 23:36:07 UTC
We all feel that the word Regulation is strange and incompatible when it comes to crypto activities simply because it's against the liberty and decentralization of power we fight for.

But lets get real, the decentralized nature of an ICO doesn't mean all of a sudden we are anarchists and when million and millions of dollars are transfered from investors to "teams" promising this and that we gota have some degree of regulation to protect investors from fraud. I'm ok with this kinda of regulation to protect people  but if the regulation means the government will start to control and tax crypto and every ICO around I'm against it.

Re: Searching for extra news - latest news
by
nazzzzz
on 17/10/2017, 23:16:11 UTC
Trying to catch latest news I started to join discord and slack servers, follow a lot on Twitter and joined a lot of channels on telegram. I'm still filtering the huge amount of noise but... I still miss something.
So, if someone know where I can find these, thanks a lot (can be anything - slack, discord, Twitter, telegram, mail, RSS, etc, etc):
- announce (real time) the latest ANN topics from this forum (and tokens ANN too). I know there's already a Twitter bot from ubiquitous, but it's not working for some days ;
- latest news from all coins (or as much as possible). Like some Twitter account that retweets everything (real time) or something like that;
- post changes to exchanges. Like new pairs, coins removed, coins temporarily disabled ;
- a place where people share ASAP newest leaks from coins. Like those infamous "signals", I mean slack screenshots, code leaks, etc.
Thanks guys

Like you said, there is a huge ammount of noise/shilling in lots of those places. I go frequently to all of them, specially the offcial slacks/discords, and if you can filter that noise and turn it into usefull information I think those are the best places to get first news, because well, they are official.

I would add reddit too, there are some good general info in there. Better than this I would say get close with the project team to get some inside info becasue I dont know any other reliable and better sources of news than the people behind the projects.

Re: [ANN][ILS] INTERNET&LIGHT&SECURITY - AIRDROP - ICO - PHASE #3
by
nazzzzz
on 17/10/2017, 08:36:41 UTC
So if one invest 0.02 Bitcoin in first place will receive 60.000 ILS + 250% to my personal airdrop, that would be 150.000 ILS. If I invest again another 0.01 Bitcoin, I will get 25.000 ILS + 175% to my airdrop. So this means bonus can accumulate in the airdrop till like 1000%. That's is a nice bonus.

Hello everyone.
I also need an advice, and I am sorry in advance if i am at the wrong topic.
I want to invest into cryptocurrency, but I would like to hear someone else's advice in which way I should do it. Lets say that I can invest about 5000$ so which way would be the best:
Just buy a bitcoin and wait it to grow? Buy mining rigs and start with mining? Or would it be smarter to invest in Etherum or some other currencies (buying or mining) ?

Thank you.

Read alot and I know it might sound a cliché but research all you can about the Project before you consider to invest. Lets say bitcoin and ethereum go to subforums here in bitcointalk, go to reddit subforums, read ann threads and be very septycal about advices about investments because many people on this forum are just promoting the coins/projects they are invested in.

After deciding to invest in a project I would not recommend to get in if it has just hit a new high because most of the times it comes a downfall afterwards, you should buy the dips and sell high and not the other way around. I know this is obvious but many people commit this mistake because they get caught in the FOMO and make impulse buys and when they realize they holding someone else bags.

There is alot more to it though but this is a good start.

This coin is mega undervalued. Its easy 100 million marketcap will reach 3000 sats soon.
30-40m cap should be reasonable until the end this of year, at least if Bitcoin doesn't crash again.

Looking at the charts DBIX already  had a spike and ATH of 44M market cap few months ago, not sure what happened and what caused it but would appreciate a feedback reggarding why it felt back to so low levels again and why it's strugling to get up again.
