I found out about this a little too late. The ICO is over but does anyone have info on when it will be distributed and if it has been announced that it will be traded on any exchanges
Tokens are already distributed. The team said they will be listed on exchanges in 2~3 weeks from now.

Google competitor? Precisely the hype. It is exciting to watch how Bitclave will tackle their biggest competitor. Will they even outperform Bing? - with the added hype of being blockchain-based.
The benefit of a Decentralized Search Engine that let users monetize their own search data and user behavior is definitely a good selling point. But honestly most people who search on Google care more about user experience. So it's gonna be a challenge for BitClave, as giants like Google have decades of experience backing them up.

Thats the first exchange CAT is listed on now am I right? I dont want to sign up there if there is another one I maybe am registered on already. But if its the only one I will have to sign up. Too bad CAT is not on CMC yet.
Currently there are 3 exchanges that have already listed BitClave: Cryptopia; HitBTC; and Tidex. The main chain will be active in a week, that's when trading starts and BitClave starts to appear on CMC.

As far as I understand it trading will be disabled until tokens become transferable.
Team should address this, just because they are named as cat, doesn't mean they are bitclave. There are 2 other cat-tokens out there, other is https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/blockcat/ and other is https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/catcoin/ - bitclave is officially only in tidex. Correct me if i am wrong.
So it's almost certain HitBTC will list BitClave when it goes live.
You are right it's bitclave iou, but Correct me if i am wrong but futures is not same as iou. I might be totally wrong

Thanks for the informations. Appreciate it. That was exactly what I needed to know. I am already registered on Cryptopia, altough I dont like it, but then I am ready to go.
Cryptopia, have they stated that they will be there? All i see there is 2 different cat tokens that are not bitclave. Or maybe you replied to the wrong thread?

Wow! In jist a minute you have managed to reached your hard cap then! CONGRATULATION TEAM. too bad i did not participated demuring great bonuses. But i will wait for the dumpers to dump thier tokens.
Yeah, please do wait for the dumpers mate. Espevially the bounty hunters. Most of them dont know the value of the tokens so they dump it to make profit. Bitclave is a good project, so better have some.

they have just finished the ico. so we must expect that there is still no development yet, maybe a little. just give them time also to do what they have to do as the ico just finished. maybe in a few days they will make some updates then. and expect a thorough development.

They released a working alpha-product a while ago. Check it out: matchico.com That's why US customers are allowed to take part in the ICO.
The beta release, according to their roadmap, will be released December 2017.

I see this project as huge potential with high risk.
It is certainly a great idea to Decentralized Search. It it goes well, growth potential is unexpectable.

It is a very simple thing, the higher the risk, the higher the reward, those that bought Bitcoin at $11k believe that the price will still go up.
The main thing here is how Bitclave team want to penetrate the query market because it is being monopolised by Google
Indeed, data is the new oil. The data industry is expected to grow ten-fold in the coming years. That's why Decentralized Search that allows users to own and monetize their own data - user behavior, search data - is such a good idea.
IOTA announced yesterday a Data Marketplace partnered with Microsoft, Bosch, Cisco, Samsung, Deutsche Telekom... It would be great if BitClave can also form a research partnership with them.

I had to upload my passport (could have used state ID or driver license), and THEN declare my name and birthdate. I passed the KYC process 1 hour ago.

ICO just started 15 mins ago and I think they already sold out or something LOL What do they mean by 110% sold out anyway?? 
I guess it literally means they sold 110% of the tokens.That means 10% of the fund will be returned to the investors who don't pass KYC.
What if enough investors pass KYC to receive more than 100% of the token?

It would be great if BitClave can partner with IOTA Data Marketplace - which has been announced today. Microsoft, Bosch, Cisco, Fujitsu, etc. are participate in that project, too!

Great project and this might be easily sold out as they have already raised a good amount during the ICO.

You guys are misunderstanding here. BitClave raised $22m/$25.5m during the presale. In the ICO however, they are hoping to raise $25.5m more.

Yes, 29 of November, and Bitclave already collected most of the necessary funds on the presale. This ico can finish very fast, because many people added in whitelist. Better to prepare to participate before the start.
I think you are misunderstanding something here. The pre-sale raised $22M/$25.5M of the pre-sale hard cap, not of the ICO hard cap. They want to raise $25.5M more during the ICO. So they total money they want to raise through both pre-sale and ICO is $51M (overall hard cap).
