at the request of a few of your community members (and my own interest in the coin), I've added RDD as a payout option at http://hashco.ws  Come mine scrypt coins and be paid out in RDD.  Every hash creates extra buying pressure on RDD markets.  Payouts in RDD happen once daily at ~03:30 UTC.

Happy Mining.

So mintpal is closing the market and we have to get our coins out asap, but they are on the wrong fork?  Pretty good.

Did you read anything of what's written above?
Griffith & mdtspain updated the wallets, so both windows and mac wallets are on the Mintpal chain...
So please just update your wallet and redownload the blockchain.
After that you can withdraw your coins from Mintpal.

Regards

Goldmaxx

Yes, yes I did.  Specifically;

NOTE* we need to check with the exchanges to make sure they are on the correct fork. ALSO mintpal withdrawals are on hold until i get the new block explorer up and running (shouldn't be too long from now)

And didn't see a link to a new block explorer.  I'm not on windows or mac, and after having checked out the latest git source and compiled, it seems to be showing me v1.6. I re-downloaded the entire blockchain from scratch,  and while my local balance shows fine, a test withdrawal from mintpal still hasn't arrived.   However, after just re-checking, it seems mintpal hasn't even attempted to send it (no txid), despite the withdrawal being in a 'confirmed' status more than 8hrs ago.  So, I'll follow up with them and see whats up.

Why am I getting this message when trying to login?

Had an issue earlier today, since been resolved.  Was at a remote cottage so took a bit longer than usual to sort out.

thats not really the case.

A few delays in payouts of late, but all is in order.  We've been quiet here lately, but we do have things in the works.  Hop by irc or send us an email if your seeing payout problems and they'll usually be fixed up quickly.

Its on our short list, but don't have an eta yet.

As we've mentioned a few times in the past, we'll be doing an account cleanup over the next 24 hours.  For this first batch we'll be focusing on accounts that have not been logged into in the last 4 months (So Feb 1st).  The majority of these are users that have never logged into the site since we did the rebuild in early January.   Going forward we'll probably make it an ongoing task with a 3 month window.

Some coins have already gone to mintpal
but other like BTC and AC are 2-3 hours delayed ?

Still AC and SHIBE withdrawals are stuck with more than 24 hours waiting ?
any news from the COINS ? or the POOL ?

Shibe should also be sorted now.  We had disabled it previously due to forking issues, and slipped through the cracks to get it cleaned up and re-enabled.  (AC was fixed earlier as per previous post)

Yeah I'd like to know as well. Is Est. Unexchanged BC(thats what I'd like to get paid out in)for the WHOLE pool or just my earnings? Considering I'm only pumping in 250Kh/s I can only assume that the 5.87 BTC worth of BC is not mine or a decimal point should be moved to the left or two. This is after about 36 hours of mining. If it is mine whoo hoo! They must have found the magic beans that a lowly 250Kh/s gets you over $2500 in 36 hours. I kind of doubt it, it must be for the whole pool. I know BC is kind of cheap now but it's not that cheap. My est earnings are 129 BC. I would say more like 12.9 or even 1.29 BC probably more like 12.9 BC. I know there is a shitload of immature blocks but wow.

All the explainations of the these terms should be in the FAQ and a comment on how accurate the numbers are. It saves a shitload of posts.

We had a bogus market price listed on a couple of rounds which was seriously skewing the estimated numbers.  I've since cleaned this up and it should be displaying a more accurate picture at this point.   If you ever find those beans let me know!

Want to say your pools is very good. I mine there many times and get good pay out. I look for Asiacoin multipool but sad not to see Asiacoin on hashcows. Huh Can you add AC please? I will come back mine with my very big rig. I read many others want to mine for AC payout too. I see big support. Please add AC and you will see many hash come from me and my friends.

AC was added yesterday.

Happy Mining

network stuck?  We've been waiting for block 5601 for 40+min now.
POS it's some kind of mining as POW. Difficulty and block rate depends from number of wallets online and unlocked and also depends from luck as usual.
Possible many users turn off wallets and another part don't have coins for minting.
Also we have several forks now and many users can't resync to right chain. ( I have to remove and redownload chain several times untel get to 5600 block). Also large part of users still not update wallets.

Sure....but we've also already minted 300 blocks fairly ok...

Is there a way to turn the ledger on? Payout's on Hashcows do not coincide with the days in my timezone, which makes it impossible to track payouts for me. I can't sit around all day refreshing the balance page, to see when and what has been awarded that day.

Ledger has been on for weeks, all times are UTC.

how many were mined in the first 24 hours for bitcoin and litecoin??

This isn't 2009, nor the first (or one of the early) coins to launch.  Should standards not improve?

The thing is nearmiss, all of the 'concerns' mentioned by yappy little chihuahua #2 have been completely and utterely thrashed out three times over to the point of exhaustion, and we're all really tired and bored of it. If you can't be bothered to read and research, you shouldn't be investing in anything.

Hey thats fine, no one likes trolls.  Just pointing out its silly to say 'well bitcoin or litcoin or x-coin did it so its ok'.   Different times.  Smiley

I like darkcoin, bought some early due to the tech, wish I hadn't of dumped 50% at 320k!

I did some calculations, and unless I'm mistaken, assuming block reward goes down to 5 within the next days and diff stays there from now own, we won't even see the 11M coins, more like 10M coins ... (hopefully someone will review the calculations and confirm

Currently there are 4,268,791DRK, and the coin halves every 2 years, that means next halve will happen after 353,283 blocks, that will be after 613 days more or less, so by Jan-Feb 2016 we will have 6,035,206 DRK. After that, as follows:

Feb 2018 +1,766,415 = 7,801,621
Feb 2020 +1,051,200 = 8,852,821
Feb 2022 +525,600 = 9,378,421
Feb 2024 +262,800 = 9,641,221
Feb 2026 +131,400 = 9,772,621
Feb 2028 +65,700 = 9,838,321
Feb 2030 +32,850 = 9,871,171
Feb 2032 +16,425 = 9,887,596
...

So, unless I calculated it wrongly, it looks like the cap will be around 10M, even if block reward needs 1 or 2 months to end up at 5, we are in any case talking about less than 11M DRKs.

Edit: the calculations are wrong, as JGCMiner stated, the coin doesn't halve but decreases 7% yearly.
That means the cap is around 19M assuming block reward goes down to 5 within the next weeks.

Some non official websites still have old information about this:

This is a long thread...new buyers have not read it all...

Do you know that darkcoin was instamined at 500 coins per second on day 1?

Do you know that in the first 24hrs 2.2 million coins were mined?

Do you know that no windows wallet was available on day 1?

How do you feel about that?

how many were mined in the first 24 hours for bitcoin and litecoin??

This isn't 2009, nor the first (or one of the early) coins to launch.  Should standards not improve?
