It seems like this is one of the few alt-coins that has real value. Not only can it be used anonymously, it can be used to hide the origins of any cryptocurrency.

Why should anyone use your site, instead of an established instant crypto exchange like changenow.io or xchange.cx?

Why should anyone use a random telegram user, instead of an instant crypto exchange like changenow.io or xchange.cx?
You need to use DEX like bisq p2p to convert bitcoin or Etherum to monero, for privacy. Using Coinbase is not safe because it is a centralized exchange. Or you can use the other exchanges that have been mentioned by the posters above.
This is the best way to be anonymous, since monero is more decentralized.
I've used Xchange.cx a bunch of times recently. They only charge 1% for nearly instant trades, with no signup or KYC required.
I'll PM you my affiliate code, if you don't mind (don't think I'm allowed to post it here).
This exchange that you provided is not to be trusted. Are you their agent.
No I am not, why is it not to be trusted? Works for me.

Please use the affiliate code I have sent you by PM. It's the same low fee for you, only I get half of it, instead of it all going to the big tech company.

Re: What's the best way make your Bitcoin anonymous right now? "Mixers"?
Because of how Monero works, your crypto is now fully anonymous. You can now swap it back for bitcoin or any other crypto, and your coins are untraceable.
how should he swap them to keep them anonymous? using any centralized exchange would make them known to him again. which would kill the whole point. I think A Good mixer is still better than all these hassles.
I just converted the bitcoins to Monero using Xchange over the tor browser:
Most likely because the forum has banned them? I am assuming that you've said that they don't work anymore because of the recent ban that has been implemented about them here.
I'd agree that one way is to convert your BTC into Monero and going on with coinjoin.
Nothing to do with that, it's just widely assumed now that Chainalysis and governments have technology that makes them obsolete, that they can track transactions through them.
Monero is open source and only costs 1% to convert to, 2% max if you convert back, so why not be safe and do that instead?
Well, infairness with the governments that have tracked down some of them. There's a likely that they do have some tools/technology.
Going with the monero conversion, no one argues about the cost of it because it's effective to hide your privacy as what everyone is telling about it.
As for OP, I'm sure that he's got the ideas already that have been mentioned by every member here which were the same.
Yeah, I converted to Monero using the method described in the first response, moved it between addresses, then converted back to a different crypto to send to the CEX. Worked great. Thanks everyone for the advice!

Just what the title says. I have some BTC that I want to hide the origin of.

Re: Silk Road Founder Ross Ulbricht Sentenced to Life in Prison
Highly unlikely. Even if Rand personally wants to either pardon Ross Ullbricht, or to reduce his sentence, his colleagues in the Republican party will not allow him to do that. The right-wing religious nuts within the Republican party will revolt against Rand, and they will accuse him of siding with drug dealers and pedophiles. His reputation will be permanently tarnished.
I admit I am a bit naive when it comes to politics, but I'm talking about if he becomes president. Wouldn't he be leading the party if that happened?

Re: Silk Road Founder Ross Ulbricht Sentenced to Life in Prison
i dont think a pardon is need it here, let him get a fair trial with out any corruption from the government or any political pressure and no pardon will be needed.
Giving him a fair trial is basically the same thing as giving him a pardon, no?
