APW5, 1300W-2600W PSU
Power chord is not included with the APW5. It requires a C13 chord with a minimum current of 16A. We advise all users to purchase it separately according to their local wall-socket standard

Does this mean that i cant run 1 machine on a 110v 15amps or 2 machines on a 220v 30amps circuits because the power chord requires 16A minimum??

no.

lets go slow  and explain

 1300 watts / 110 volts = 11.81 amps

 2600 watts / 220 volts = 11.81 amps

so a 15 amp cord  x .8 = 12 amps     the 0.8  is  80 percent de rating factor due to your 24/7/365 day use.

so 15 amp cords should be good enough.

give me time to link a good 110-120 volt cord

https://www.amazon.com/StarTech-com-PXT100143-Feet-14AWG-Extension/dp/B00AC8M5L2/ref=sr_1_2?

give me time for a 220/240 volt 20 amp setup

this

http://www.ebay.com/itm/162183703200?

to this

http://www.ebay.com/itm/162001133210?

to  two of these
https://www.amazon.com/SF-Cable-Universal-Power-Cord/dp/B007O0XL4Q/ref=sr_1_1?

would be able to do a 2600 watt and a 1300 watt  like this one

https://www.amazon.com/SuperNOVA-Modular-Warranty-Tester-120-G2-1300-XR/dp/B00COIZTZM/ref=sr_1_1?

btw I would buy  the evga's any way. rather then buy the one from bitmaintech

Thank you, exactly the info i was looking for!

well I sure hope somebody jailbreaks it if it is true........

I heard that s9's will only mine on AntPool?

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=789369.msg15073544#msg15073544

Can anyone confirm that?

I hope its just a joke?

maybe not a joke.  at least kano said it will not mine on his pool

The old asicminer tubes were fucked up with many pool restrictions.  Fixes and patches were  done.

I am not buying a third one as only antpool mining is not acceptable.

I agree, this doesn't make sense.

Updated pic: 5 s7, 2 s5. all plugged into 5 20amp sockets.

There is a 24inch drum fan against the back wall blowing right at the miners. The 6inch duct brings in cold air from the AC. The orange blower is attached to a 4in dryer hose that pumps some of the heat outside and some into the finished side of the basement where the air return is.

it aint pretty but it works.

WOW! Thats an awesome cooling system... what´s the temperatuce there?

DAMN!!  The cooling takes up more space than the miners.

I like to use this site to calculate the cost.  It also gives you an idea how BTC compares to Altcoins.

I would go with the the most efficient miners, rather than saving a few bucks on older technology.   This will keep you in the game longer when difficulty increases.

Is there any CPU or GPU miner for an ipad air that I can use? I am aware that it could kill my device.

do the right choice!!!
invest directly buying bitcoin...
less stress...
less risk...

the right things to do now!!!

if you want to mine, do it just for fun ...
and when you understand how it works forget it!!!

Re: Spondoolies-Tech vs Bitmain for a larger operation?

I am in the exact situation here.

We have a cheap power here with a  rate of 2 cent per kw, and we are start to build our own farm. When me and my team decide on which gear to go with then at the last step we make a new  decision to wait for more 2 months to see what will go on with the new gears that we expect to come out next 2 our 3 months from now.

I advice you to wait a little bit, because it better to have a better deficiency than to be sorry.

Where are you getting 2 cent kw?

Where are you getting 2 cent kw?

Likely China.

No, it is not China.

It is Sudan, we have a 2 cent power here for industrial activity.

I'm so jelly...
