A good wallet to store tokens is myetherwallet because it is very simple to make and then very cheap for the fees very recommend once myetherwallet as wallet to It depends what kind of tokens you are trying to store. If you want to store ERC20 tokens(classic tokens that are being based on the ethereum network). If you are trying to storr ERC20 tokens I would suggest you to download MyEtherWallet which has a very comfort UI for the average user.store tokens owned by many people

Re: One good thing about the crash

The only good thing about this masive dump is i can buy more coin ! and i believe all those coin i buy will increase in price again sooner or later. It was about time, and I'm glad it happen. I'm sad because I'm sure a lot of people got burn with them, but maybe this will serve as a lesson, although I doubt it. People can't really avoid the "get rich quick dream", and they will take every chance they get to try to achieve that, even knowing they are going through huge risks, and will probably lose, and that on best case scenario they will be winning at the losses of others, because that's how ponzis work.

Tend to invest in ICOs as soon as the BTC market fluctuates, this will ensure your profitability as ICO projects always choose the right time to crowsale and listed as soon as the market is okay.Yes ofvcourse, I still believe in ICO just like domraider it was so successful ICO because all tokens has been sold. We understand that not all ICO's are legit, there are also scam which is not seriousing their project.

Yes, probably they were the same bitcoins and you would be rich by now. When someone has 200 bitcoins know, he is very, very rich. Even when money is not in the bank, they can be converted to cash in minutes.yeah  did you read the pizza story guy? that is everyone dream, to have 10k bitcoin and hold them until now, but i think already everyone dumped at the 2013 ATH, it's very hard and very tempting to sell at those price when you have so many bitcoins, and it's easy now to say that if i would have hold i would have been rich, try to say this when the value is shit low.

Re: Official FutureBit Moonlander 2 Driver and Support Thread

No, its specifically just for Moonlander 2. Every other driver has been stripped to avoid issues during launch, and will make support and my debugging life easier. Once people have received and started using their sticks ill merge the driver into the luke-jr's main branch and add MLD 1 support. For now you'll just have to run two instances of bf gminer if you want to run them on the same computer. Any chance someone can write up a step-by-step guide for getting these working on a Raspberry Pi 3B? I'm a Linux novice and most of what I see assumes a certain level of know how. I was hoping to set it up wirelessly on Minera, but at this point I'm so confused I'll take what I can get... Thanks in advance! Smiley

Re: Buying clothes with bitcoins?
by

on 16/01/2018, 12:35:57 UTC
I don't know if there is a site just like gamiss but if you want to buy clothes with bitcoin you must exchange it first to $ and paypal as a payment method. Because most of the online shops do only accepts payment with paypal or any other authorized web site. If you are not unable to find some other site like this, well try my suggestion and use virwox for it.Indeed you can , and it depends on your country . In Indonesia , we have tees.co.id .
This site has bitcoin as the payment , so you can buy clothes much easier . And it allows you to design your own clothes.
For the shipping , i'm not sure about worldwide shipping you can contact tees support for further information.

Re: Is bitcoin transaction fees fair?
by
neerajmittal
on 16/01/2018, 12:30:03 UTC
I also remember that I could send any transaction with normal fee and receive confirmations in a few hours.Recently, I had to wait more than 24 hours for confirmation and because of this experience, now I send each transaction with higher fee.Yes, I don't like it, but still is cheaper to send funds with bitcoin than with  WU, for example. It's obvious that this situation must be resolved somehow because bitcoin may become less attractive to the new people.I don't think that transaction fee is connected with BTC price. For me its really not fair for a high fee in many bitcoin wallets but i already use bitcoin wallet that has a really fast transaction that sounds fair for a few cent fee but having a high fee for a really slow transaction is really not unfair for us we are paying fee's and didnot get a fat transaction we wanted and there are so many confirmations needed.

we can have Baikal ship directly to you. Payment can be done via Bitcoin or wire transfer. I'm with the people on this one, your time, shipping and handling isn't worth the extra 400 dollars you are asking, its not reasonable. maybe 200 at best and that's pushing it. its not like you are spending days shipping out 1 unit so how do you figure your time, shipping and handling is worth an extra 400 dollars considering it takes minimal time to get them shipped out.Its hardly a better option. only person that truly benefits is you @400 dollars per unit. what a joke come on man. atleast its just an option its hardly a better one. you are just trying to make money off people simple as that and not to mention it sure as hell don't cost hundreds to ship out 1 unit

Re: HELP.. bitcoin transfer between my wallets big problem
by
neerajmittal
on 16/01/2018, 12:08:45 UTC
I understand Coinbase uses its own addresses (rather than individual user addresses) so as to be able to aggregate transactions and thereby reduce transaction costs. But the address should be under their control, so my suggestion would be to contact them. Was the address that sent you the coins 1 address with a very high balance? If so, it's likely to be one of Coinbase's own addresses, and in that case they should be able to give you back your coins (if they're willing to do so).Another possibility is that Coinbase sends funds from other user's deposit addresses. If that's the case, your funds were credited to someone else's account, and in that case it's unlikely they can give it back to you.
It depends on the way Coinbase handles withdrawals.

Re: Confidential Transactions, Content privacy for Bitcoin transactions
by
neerajmittal
on 16/01/2018, 11:37:59 UTC
Well, I'm impressed. Why you went to the trouble to implement your ring signature scheme makes a lot more sense now.Since the vast majority of transactions will be <42.94967295 BTC, almost all transactions will have exponent zero. So, transactions with exponent >0 will stand out and be much less anonymous. And the inputs and outputs to coin joins will need to have the same exponent.Nothing against it, the space saved is worth the loss of anonymity for very large transactions. But it is probably best to warn people about it so that no one uses confidential transactions incorrectly. Also, if I have several inputs with different exponents (let's say 0,1 and 2) and I want join them into a single ouput, will the protocol force me to have two outputs (with exp 0 and 2) or will it round down the amount.

Re: Altcoins that might survive in the future?
by
neerajmittal
on 16/01/2018, 11:26:59 UTC
True, but if there is a coin that has no technical improvements over BTC that can survive, then that must be LTC, since it has that "original altcoin" and "silver of crypto" aura. Also, cobble  has said on twitter that they are pro-segwit and will start aiming for activation of segwit in LTC pretty soon, so this shows they are going to keep developing the coin for Litecoin I think it could survive until long in my opinion. Presently, Litecoin ranked among the top five most popular in the world cryptocurrency. Litecoin have the distance between blocks is shorter that only 2.5 minutes (Bitcoin: 10 minutes), which means the level of ability of the transaction runs faster than Bitcoin. I think it would make Litecoin could survive because then people could be interested in Litecoin and continues to grow.he future.

Re: Bitcoin address scam lookup!
by

Mixers breaks the linkage completely. Take for example the one in my signature. They operate through tor and keeps no logs. If any scammer were to use it, they can be anonymous and break the linkage of coins at the same time. The coins that you Of course you can. It's called blockchain analysis and it can be made harder through the use of mixers and the linkage may very well be inaccurate. You do realise the cost of moving coins right? Who in the right mind, trying to scam individuals would use them.Okay, if I were to start scamming people, do you think I'll give them a new address or an address that is associated to my other scams.I'm not hating, I'm just questioning the rationale.e tracking may go to other innocent people.

yes I am buying these days all the bitcoin I can, and I also try to earn some bitcoin. In my opinion the bitcoin price is going to increase in the coming months. It is a good investment for all, a good asset to have, with many other. I am holding at the moment like many others. It might be reasonable to go on buying but it's a question of what you can and can't afford.

Cryptocurrency is a completely new domain, and it seems that usual analysis don't work. So, a good part of take good decisions is to start to identify the patterns that seem to bring to a grow. I don't know any great resources specifically for the crypto world, there's probably not too many as it's such a new industry. But anything on trading stocks or forex will still apply to a good extent.

Re: Hotels accepting bitcoin
by

on 15/01/2018, 07:50:18 UTC
This is a good start to introduce Bitcoin to people who don't know it, when they booked a room and saw payment methods cash, credit card and Bitcoin there's a possibility that they'll research about Bitcoin. Too bad this 2 hotels that accept Bitcoin is located in Las Vegas but i know soon there will be more hotels that will accept Bitcoin. It's true, people will check the payment options and if they don't Bitcoin they will ask, what is it? It's a good opportunity to learn what is BTC and how it can be used in our life. Two hotels can seem nothing, but it's a good start for the Bitcoin adoption in services area. Las Vegas is an amazing city and if these hotels are popular the idea will spread fast.

No and I don't think I would. Every time adults gather around a common interest things tend to get a bit weird.Never been to an actual meetup but I've been in a skype conference call about bitcoin for many times now. As of this moment, we're planning to hold one on the 15th of September, but I'm not sure whether it will take place or not because some of the prominent members of our group do have some affairs at that time.

My alternate coin experience was quite good enough because all my altcoins comes from airdrop and i hodl it until know and im happy with 10000 usd as profit as of the moment. Hopefully ACC,HAT,and etc will be pump again. have mostly positive experience with altcoins. There has been some on which I lost a little bit of money but few excellent ones like Cardano and Verge bought just before the price jumps have more than made up for it.
