It's funny that amounts paid before costs are fluctuating all the time in line the Bitcoin price. If it's high it seems you get better amounts and if it's low you get less which is crap.

For a start the pool should be by itself on all the miners working together and then you have their own farms mixed in aswell. They used to display the users and hashing power which they don't show but last time I saw users hadn't risen and hash power wasn't a noticeable rise so why the less rewards. They upped their own farms.

And the rewards are down by a mile. Think a 4 times what they were 3 months ago slowly decreasing each day on there hashnest. Users hasn't increased, Farm hasn't increased so where's the money going

Here's a bit of ethics that should always be followed. You don't sell a product that has a money value and then compete against your customers. Bitmain runs antpool which they also run hashnest on and there own personal farms. Effectively the guy wants it all. He may have spent money setting it up but typical greedy douchebag and I bet Genesis are the same.

HASHNEST: LOWER PAYOUTS, HIGHER MAINTENANCE CHARGES & HIGHER ELECTRICITY CHARGES. THERE OUT TO SCREW EVERYONE BEFORE THE HALVING.

Just out curiosity. When people are making withdrawals and him processing them but sending them back to their accounts, would he back taking the fees associated with it. His fees were greedy at 0.001 when everyone else was 0.0001, it would explain a fair bit. For every 1000 transactions he gets a free btc and gets to skim a few times then send what ever is left over or the multiple small transactions.

Plausible? Just a wild thought.

Has the world turned into a nanny state where people think it is well within there right to tell people about things that they have no interest in or even participated in. Cause thats how it seems. DICTATORSHIPS don't work, people stop listening after enough abuse.

You's justify your behaviour by saying your doing a public service and trying to save people from this when in fact, you are just inflating your ego's further and accentuating your moral high ground even further.

People learn by making mistakes, its how we learn to pick our selves up. Yes it is hard to stand by and watch people get ripped off by greedy scammers but if they can't see the signs it is a lesson they need. As next time they will be careful with what they invest in, but if people keep advising you know what they do, they come to internet forums to get the views of others rather than learning to trust their gut feeling on something.

Let people live & learn from their mistakes and triumphs, yes its hard but it is essential.

Out of curiosity, why didn't all you investigators report your findings to the internet provider for Scrypt.cc or the authorities rather than come to Internet forum and try to advise people from doing things.

Is it the HERO factor, that you can now say you have saved people from something. Seriously no offence but everyone lives in a world these days where everyone thinks it's alright to stick their nose in everyone's business like they have a right to. Every tax paying person in the world pays for law enforcement and the USA has so many resources I would have been killed ages ago if it had been reported.

Just saying but some people get off on an ego trip.

Look at from a business point of view. It just doesn't make sense that a user with little feedback here trying to acquire 50Th/s or greater Spondoolies Only equipment.

As to your comment about genesis. Genesis don't build boards and spondoolies have already stated they are supplying equipment as needed, not chips. you just have to look at genesis's farm to know they used already assembled hardware. Rack, Power and Go.

So let me get this straight. Marcelo is now selling MH/s instead of KH/s. So he has an imaginary 85 TH/s of Scrypt Mining & you actually believe it. You can't just pull capacity out of your ass Marcelo.

He does credit in one aspect though, the guy can sell shit to people. My mum always said if you can find a guy that can sell ice to eskimos, hire him.

The Scrypt.cc domain is registered through eNom, from Kirkland, WA via Namecheap, in California. Further research reveals that the host is PhoenixNAP, a very popular datacenter in Arizona. Anyone with a few minutes should be able to corroborate this. If you're looking to have the scam shut down, PhoenixNAP, NameCheap, and CloudFlare are your best bets.

Why would he be hosting out the USA if he has a data center in brazil sorry 2 data centres with network connections and a fresh electricity contract with cheaper power prices than Washington State. My guess he doesn't even live in brazil.

If his site is the same as most of the other ponzi i have seen you just have to work out what he has called his admin page.

No one has it.

I seriously doubt he even lives in brazil. Look for a timezone about 2 hours later than brazil is my guess.

For any Australians looking for btc mining. There is BTCminer.co based in melbourne. They are monthly options. This no way an endorsement of them. I am looking at them myself. Correction, confirmed as scam as well.

Hashnest. What more can you say. just one thing, i wish they did SCRYPT as well. Rewards aren't close to scrypt.cc but they are genuine with clear transactions. Choose from Antminer s2, s3, s4, s5 or buy s5 and have them converted to hash rate.

We haven't lost everything. We have learnt that we still need to watch ourselves. Call this a learning experience, a tough one but it is a learning experience. Work hard for your money and don't let some shit talking unknown moron suck you in again.

However, I'm still worried that it is scam. I read the chat on their site today. I have the feeling the admin hedges around a little bit when it is about showing photos of the datacenter.
I wouldn't worry a bit.

I was there in chat when they first mentioned having taken photos of one of the data centers that day and the intention to post them up a bit later.

I was also there in chat when they mentioned that they wanted to make the place look better and take them again.

Do you own a mining rig?  A real one, not just a gpu in a gaming case, we're talking multiple cards on cables, dual power supplies, oversized cpu coolers and so on.  To a techno-geek that overclocks hardware for sport... the photos they took are probably a wet dream.

Unfortunately, the reality is that people are sheep.  An investor with a large chunk of bitcoin takes a look at racks and racks of jumbled hashing wet-dream and freaks out, backs away slowly and starts contemplating junk bonds.

I've repaired and built computers for 20 of the 30 years I've worked in computers and run into all kinds of mentalities that crop up around them.  Smiley

Also how about adding a display kh/btc for current price, i had to ask someone in the chat box for the going price.

That's just below the order window on the left...  Smiley  You can actually click on the top sell order and the price will automatically be entered into the price area of the sell order section.

Keep it Clean! Cheesy

Just for a laugh. PMSL

And i actually got an increase in my revenue at Hashnest but hey, cheers for proper cloud mining.

When i was at scrypt crap just didn't add up:

- When i joined the server status thing on the home page only had 2 of the windows going at the time. So i messaged support about if they would be adding extra capacity in the near future. No reply, but the extra 2 status windows were then active & they never showed blocks they were mining just coin 120, coin 170, etc.
- Prices move with the bitcoin price
- Skimming Rewards. Usually every 5th or 6th reward would be skimmed. Fees are usually collected per day or per block not at odd intervals.
- Server always overloaded as he probably bought the cheapest cloud server out there. A smart business man would work out expected user amount and allow for triple or quadruple that in resources especially with market trading and also look at scalability to ramp up if needed.
- Admin having and using his own referral link. Its on the first page of this thread i believe.

But he may do withdrawals soon as there is 192BTC in his wallet. It takes about that overtime he does withdrawals, but first come first serve.

Whats the wait time on withdrawals now 5 days from 24hrs originally. Still trading while insolvent equals fraud. This practice is illegal in most countries with it being a criminal offence.

August 15, 2015 - Dear users, We apologize for the delayed withdraws, I was on a business trip and the backup withdraw wallet ran out of coins and the script that was supposed to keep it filled did not execute.

All withdraws will be handled within the next 48 hours.

So with all the problems that scrypt.cc is having the master decide's to take another holiday. Didn't this whole incident happen because he supposedly was on holiday with his family where he was uncontactable and the only person keeping an eye on the operation did have backend full clearance. If you haven't seen the numerous red flags you need to research more before investing again.

The majority of Data Companies around the world will work 24 hours a day, Seven days a week to fix a broken system and get the system operational again. They don't play games. They don't ask theirs client to cover their losses. They just get it fixed, Work out how it happened and keep a close eye it to ensure all is well.

Anyone can start one of these, a guy has the sites available on cryptothrift for about USD20.

Okay, so we all know the Scrypt Hashing is crap. He doesn't have it based on the facts, but what if he was mining with SHA256. Anyone capable of running a scam or ponzi more than likely trying to set themselves up for the future. It would account for rather small deposits that are going in most of the time (SHA256 Pool Mining).

Just a thought. He can't be looping it all as the majority gets paid out with withdrawals?

There are five of us now. Four of us were on the same day, about 15:00 Scrypt time. I am getting information about who to report this to. There actually may be something we can do.

What can we do Meepers ?

But first off we should file a ticket, if you have not already. He may not respond, but we need to at least show that we have tried in good faith.

Its more like, hope that hell has unfrozen and he thinks you are worthy of his time. A few select users had his Skype address as i witnessed it in the troll box somebody telling him to come on Skype.

The state of scams in shocking, but at least they are going under. Cloudthink is gone thank god.

Thanks guys for the follow ups, we are mainly acquiring the miners to fill out our NC facility to its main capacity, we have been expanding the facility and have access to cheap power, in addition as a publicly traded company it is in our best interest to run the facility at it's max capacity to produce highest revenues. If you have Spondoolies farms 50Th or higher send me PM. We won't be acquiring forever  Wink

I call bs. Why would a company be asking to buy from the public when you can buy direct and are in talks of merging. Doesn't sound right at all & spondoolies have stock for genesis then they would have stock for you.

my KHS was stuck in "in orders" its been 24 hours  Angry

to sell or buy. you can cancel them. just go to open orders. sell at a lower price, i would go 1 sat lower than the lowest if you just want out.

it was already cancelled. no open orders already but it is still in "in order"

Weird. Good luck getting it fixed up. it normally clear a few minutes after.
