I want to know the same thing. It is a good time to be in gaming, but the competition in gaming related crypto currency is big. Unexplained price rises is dangerous and temporary, but well explained price rises can make new floors.

While this may not be a scam this is at the very least "Scammish" (I know there is not a definition for it.) Just because your still here and haven't disappeared does not make this any less suspect to all that was involved. Let's take a min and list WHY he is labeling this a "SCAM": Feel free to respond to each !

Yea so what. There's a ton of projects coming back online because a dev left. What if your mom died or you wife died and you had no choice. What if your socialist/communist govt took you out. You lose a few bucks for a time being and it's SCAM!! Oh look I just learned the word SCAM so I'm going to use it all the time now cause it just rolls off the tongue. Maybe you have to look on the dictionary what mean the word "SCAM"...
- Without warning to those supporting your coin you decide that this is not for you and post here, instantly tanking your coin value and hurting the value of the "Entity" for bid as a whole. The PROPER way to handle this would have been to ask any of your early adopters if they were interested or just give it to the community to take over and keep your "Development stash of coins" which at the very least would have maintained market value.
- You've yet to disclose what you've done or will do with the over 3million coins that was put "aside" for development.
- One of the main things that we could use to track the above (The block explorer and rich list) is conveniently broken like a McDonald's ice-cream machine after 10pm
- Instead of responding to the above question ( asked more then once here) you only respond to the "Scam" post or post how your hurt that anyone would call it that.
- You want people to BUY/BID on the project from you after letting it's value tank because of all listed above. And maintain that you want only the best for the coin when each hour nothing is done more value is being vaporized

I was surprised by the scam, what I did not expect was the continued in your face 1984 from the Developer. I know learned what the website blockexperts is all about and I wish I had know/paid attention to the block chain. And on chainz.cryptoid.info - SFC was not listed there. I now realized that on several or most of the coins there is one person who may own 40% or more in coins. That website also allows us to see where the majority of the holders are located in. (chainz.cryptoid.info then network then geo-location). I was looking for other coins and on one, one person had 75% of the coins and in another the majority of the coin holders were in Africa.
I put this question here because we all got hurt in the same way like myself.
1. What do you think of ZOIN coin? The owners of the coin look to be spread out and I was amazed at how many different countries were into it. But on their BitCoinTalk forum they talk about their Developer disappearing and pages 51 and 52 were interesting.
2. Can someone take over SFC like they did the Zion coin?
I put this question here because we all got hurt in the same way like myself.

Exactly!!!!
It seems that what people are actually saying is that it is fine if you want to step back, but you could handle this in a better way. Announcing that you are stepping back immediately and trying to auction off the coin isn't a good way to do it.
Very few here are actually saying is that it is fine if i want to step back, not the same on twitter but that's crypto life and i can't blame guys that was fired from my decision
Regarding the "immediately", i'm still here answering questions and looking on how to fix another time the stuck blockexplorer...then is not immediate but is coming very early...just the time to understand which direction the project is keeping
Regarding auctioning the project, maybe can sound questionable but didn't understand whats wrong on looking to get back at least some of the money i've invested in the project plus 2 months of day and night work....
Why i should give away for free a working altcoin with (yesterday) 50BTC market cap and almost 10 BTC volume plus a lot of unexpressed potential and still some big exchange that could list that coin, without counting all that people's that showed support in a good project...without counting a working website plus lot of services that i've paid to let the coin run..
I'm not forcing nobody to do nothing....my project is here, if someone is interested we can talk about it...otherwise Solarflarecoin will sleep until i can't back to work on it...
Ok. I have to interject here. You are talking about getting your money and time back ? Are you going to give everyone their time and money and mining power costs back for believing in you and basically funding your project ? Everyone here has lost something with this project alone. I know for a fact I have moved over 11btc up and down for a huge loss, but I am not whining and saying "I need my money back". If you did not have the time and money to "INVEST" in the project, then you should have never started it. Investment is a "RISK", and on this one, you lost. Pull up your big boy pants, hold your head straight, and say, "You know what, at least I had the bals to try." That by itself is an accomplishment, so congratulations. It takes 50 confirms for miners to get their coins. It takes another 50 for miners to have confirmed coins available to sell on cryptopia... There is a 4 min block time average. In roughly 400 mins (7HOURS) from the time of Dev's post many of the 20+ GHs that were mining this will all have their coins on cryptopia... If your holding to see who if anyone will buy, just keep that in mind ! Sell now and get back in if you want after miners finish their dump .. <----- My good crypto deed for the month

So I am in a meeting all morning and when I get back in the afternoon, I see the Developers message and the drop in price.
1. I could not go back in Cryptopia's market history to far back. Did anybody see a pump and dump?
2. I also find it weird - because yesterday I was on #slack and Lombaqe was helping me with my mining rig questions. During the whole time I saw all the events taking place and the progress. I noticed the Developer was always busy on the weekends, that is understandable for us in the States and not a third world country. If someone could answer my first question I would like to know.
Other that that I will just keep reading the threads. Thanks.

The thing was pumpin and dumping daily... ( Miners would dump and "some entity" would keep the price up.. take that as you may, Zero news from DEV and price goes from 115 to 500+ within a week and then DEV decides to leave project while its in the 400 range

I Didn't really do much research when i started, it was pretty good for some mining and dumpin is why i was in but the amount of movement it was doing kept me in for longer then I even expected. Seemed on most days someone was propping the value up I even tested by selling a very small amount at a low bid and as soon as i did that or a little later someone or someon's bot would buy at the lowest ask.. I totally understand your situation.. but abandoning the project and auctioning it off is simply not done in this world. Maybe if there was actually a project to sell. But this is just another POW coin.... if the codes open source, your probably better off just doing a community hand off and letting the community come up with funds to run a website / w/e else.

The best course would have been to give it to the community like Selsonblue said and let them to carry it on. selling seems a little scammish to me ... well to each is own.. Good luck to buyer. I mined for a while and got some decent coins, was selling on spikes but was holding just for the hell of it today.. My MISTAKE o well live and learn !

There are people in this world who are angry and tear things down, and then there are those who unite and build things up.
Some of the most successful people I know in my life are those who build on things and lift up others naturally. It's like in their blood. In their DNA. I'm sure some people know what I'm talking about. I strive to be like those people and build others up and not tear them down.
In business, things happen. You repair and build up. I support Rise and what they are doing and I am going to stand behind them. You can build websites and stuff and mock them but these guys put their names and faces out there from day one. If people are going to run a scam they aren't going to do that. When I read some of these previous posts it's obvious they have no idea what's going on, they just want to tear people down. I go read their latest posts and it's all anger and hatred. I've never understood that. Why people are so angry all the time. I guess it's just in their DNA.

This is really becoming comical (It was already) ...
A few of you top holders who don't want to sell your coins at such a huge lost are trying to generate "Fake" trust in folks who haven't delivered on a single thing they promised.
1. The main site after 8 months still is promoting the ICO
Then after eight months of NOTHING they "Have this BIG ANNOUNCEMENT" that "drum roll please.....
2. The lead developer / CO FOUNDER was for a lack of a better way to describe it, FIRED because he wanted "more cash" that's a convenient reason. How about 8 months of ZERO progress. They really "allowed for 8 MONTHS of nothing before saying..... wooooah somethings wrong here??
3. Now they say "ok our bad we got nothing done". We are going to fork lisk AGAIN (now that their forging is working) and create a "Classic" coin so you guys can "mine" a coin that has at best 10-20 transactions a day that will over inflated the coin's supply for no reason. Not to mention has ZERO purpose at it's initial phase EXCEPT to be forged and dumped.
4. If that's not enough to keep you holding or to get you to buy more of this train wreck, they will also give you the equivalent of what ever you hold in Chipz. OOOOO right ?

5. NONE OF THE "FIXES" AS I TYPE THIS ARE BEING DEVELOPED. CHIPZ is still in initial planning stage and they don't even have a deal made yet for a casino.
PLUS DON'T HAVE A DEVELOPER WORKING ON CODE (Looking over it is not the same as "building or fixing")
If it took 8 months for them to figure that they needed to change the direction of Rise, how long do you think it will take them to:
1.) Fork Lisk
2.) Create a new classic coin that is added to an exchange
3.) Build a NEW coin just for our benefit (Chipz)
4.) Secure a deal with a casino ( as someone else mention will probably be owned by a "buddy")
5.) Build Rise 2.0 with everything promised in the initial ICO
They couldn't even complete ONE PROJECT and now you want us to trust that they will complete well over 5 different mini projects??
I will continue to monitor this because hell if by some off chance they do pull this off it could mean some big bucks as the price is tanking lil by lil each day. but Not going to hold my breath as I'm surpised i was able to hold it for the last 8 MONTHS !!!
