I purchased it from them no problem. You just send them your coins and then you get an email saying that they were received and you will receive X combicoins within a week. Just know that there is a charge to buy from the site. I sent 14 ether and ended up paying $600 in fees on it.

I e-mailed the team a few of my questions and they responded very quickly. Here are the answers to my questions:



Q:Can a US customer buy from the triaconta.com website?

 It is possible to buy CombiCoins on the website and pay in USD.

Q:When will we be able to see the public addresses of the coins being held?

We do have public addresses of the coins being held on our website: https://triaconta.com/wallet-addresses/ but I must admit this information needs to be updated for the new tokens we acquired after the bi-monthly re balancing of the assets.

Q:Why is there so little media coverage of this project?

Holidays and a rapidly rising amount of investments has kept us very very busy. We have had no need for extra media coverage or advertising. We are growing steadily and can still respond quickly to questions and like to keep it that way.

Q:When will the exchange be ready?

We expect to be listed on an exchange before the end of this month. Negotiations are ongoing and i am sorry i am not allowed to disclose more information yet. Check out our weekly newsletters for further developments.

Q:As an investor, what insurance do I have that Triaconta won’t simply run away with the money?

You are buying CombiCoins from a Dutch non-profit foundation. According to Dutch law, a Foundation does not have 'owners' and the Foundation does not want to make profit in any way. The supervisory board of the Foundation consists of external and trustworthy experts, the supervisory board can actually fire the two founders of Triaconta (Don and Guust) if they are not managing everything correctly.

Agree. There is so little information about this project online even just updating this thread would be helpful.

I just wanted to chime in that I liked the buycombicoin website and I am just waiting for them to get this on an exchange. I do hope they provide the wallet address and offer some more evidence that it is safe to let them hold all of our money.

I got some combicoin on ether delta, but I'm not sure if it is all set up correctly. As I understand it, there is supposed to be a bot that sells to buy orders and buys to sell orders, but it looks like there are just some manual listings as the volume is really low (only about 40 coins). Also there seems to be a big gap between the buy and sell orders on the book. 0.0569 on sell and 0.048 on buy.

I get that the company makes a small profit on each coin bought and sold by the bot, so some sort of a gap would make sense, but how much of a gap is it supposed to be?

Also, hopefully the dev team can answer this, what happens to the coins if the company has some sort of financial troubles. I'm worried about a scenario where I buy a bunch of these coins and they just pull the buy/sell bot from the market and run away with the holdings. There is a good amount of trust involved in investing in this rather than just buying the crypto directly.

I just found out about combicoin last night, and let me tell you, it is an answer to my prayer. I know crypto is the future, but my investing track record has been less then spectacular. With Combicoin and I can just buy this one coin and benefit from the market growing as a whole, instead of hoping one of the coins I have gets lucky. I think a lot of people will feel the same way and this could really take off.

I plan to change my portfolio over on January 1st, but is buying from the website the best option? 5% service fee seems like quite a lot. And I see the link for EtherDelta, but I can't make heads or tails of how to use it.
