For me,I will say that ICO is initial coin offering which is a way for either an existing company or upcoming project to raise money globally from investors to fund the project and give profits back to those investors as time passes by and the company operations become more profitable.

Re: Without ETF , can expect a huge bull run

We should be able to enter a serious bull without ETF but it is rather unfortunate that now everyone is looking at ETF to break lose the market.Well let us hope and see if perhaps there is ETF then we shall enter into the bull run soon but without etf,it is quite dicey and no one can really really be confident about this.

Re: What world currencies are actually backed by gold?
by
nestorjacob
on 13/09/2018, 05:48:16 UTC
I do not think that there are any currencies in the world now that are backed by gold. Most of the countries have taken their currencies out of the gold standard and make it fiat money which are issued by the governments that is why most nations are in debts now and struggling to deal with them.

Re: I invest only in ICOs
by
nestorjacob
on 02/08/2018, 06:36:32 UTC
I will prefer to buy my tokens nowadays at exchanges instead of investing in ico because most of the icos get to exchange and the price fall miserably and one can get a lot of coins at a very cheap price compared to those who invested at ICOS .So I will rather wait for the coin to get to an exchange so that I fill my bags over there and wait for a bull market.

Re: So, Crypto Market ALL RED Again!!
by

on 31/07/2018, 20:48:40 UTC
well, what we are seeing recently in the market nowadays is really trying times for cryptocurrency. The fluctuations are just too much and the drama seems unstoppable. It is really something amidst the issues of SEC either to approve or reject ETFs petitions. Today, I read somewhere that SEC has started looking into the strength of coins.

Re: Reading Whitepapers
by
nestorjacob
on 29/07/2018, 23:03:16 UTC
Now scam projects will plagiarize whitepapers without team members and try to outwit investors to run away with their money. So it is advisable for any investor or a bounty hunter to take ample time to read and make meaning out of the whitepaper of every project in order to avoid any scam. But unfortunately, most investors do not take their time to read and find out what the project is all about and find meaning if the idea is feasible or not but they just get up and invest their money and in the end, dirty scammers will run away with their hard earned money.

Re: Token goes down. Wait or sell?
by

on 29/07/2018, 22:56:57 UTC
The situation in the market can be seen as an opportunity to make money or seen as a loss depending on the telescope each person is viewing the market situation from right now. To me selling right now is a tragedy for anyone who is bent on making money in cryptocurrency as a long time investor. This is the time most whales buy coins at a very cheap price and later sell to make huge sums of money and people do not understand. The whales know how to take advantage of the market situation but weak hands will always panic and dump.

Re: It could take 2 years for the market to recover
by
nestorjacob
on 28/07/2018, 22:52:59 UTC
Two years to recover? That will be a great hell but who knows it could be true because bitcoin took about eight years to be valuable for everyone to talk about today. Anything worthwhile takes time and the nature of the market now could be a test of our faith in cryptocurrency. Our faith can either take us far or near so let the will of the market be done and the faithful survives.

Re: Why do you sell your coins?
by
nestorjacob
on 28/07/2018, 22:41:46 UTC
wow, this is a great question to anyone in the cryptocurrency world here and it demands an individual response because one may have pressing needs to solve, another maybe selling because he does not want to lose money when prices are dropping badly. Another maybe selling to make ends meet or make a living actually. For me, my first sell was because I needed to buy a laptop.

Re: Do you keep all your bounty coins or you convert some to ETH and BTC?
by

on 26/07/2018, 22:49:37 UTC
Some altcoins are great and even go on to increase in value whiles eth and BTC are falling so as to convert all your coin to eth or BTC is an individual belief and what you believe in. Either BTC or etc. Because these two are already established, people feel safer when their coins are in this form but it is not always the best

Re: what exactly are we waiting for?
by
nestorjacob
on 26/07/2018, 22:38:17 UTC
well, most people are holding coins in their wallets waiting for great spikes in market trends so that they can sell and become rich. The majority of us here care so much about the prices of cryptocurrency but some are also waiting for the worldwide adoption of cryptocurrency that will be a long-term goal for the industry. Because when we go mainstream, the prices and other issues will naturally be resolved.

Re: Panic loss me 10800$ , so patient is the key
by

on 25/07/2018, 00:30:52 UTC
This is a massive loss indeed, it all depends on what needs the person has to liquidate and solve at that particular time but I think that seeling immediately after three days was a quick decision that you could have waited small and at least see the market trend before you decide to do anything. Anyway, the harm has been caused already so let us add it to the pool of experiences that we are gathering daily in the cryptocurrency industry.

Re: Success of an investment may not be true to all?
by
nestorjacob
on 25/07/2018, 00:20:21 UTC
I have overheard one investor complains of how he invested in 12 ICOS and 10 of them have already failed him and he was quite bitter toward cryptocurrency investments especially ICOs.He was advised to stay positive and hold the tokens for a long time so that when the market recovers, he could make up for his loses. So whiles others are harvesting big from their investments, others are not happy but I think it all has to do with the skills of the investor involved.

Re: Quit your job to promote bounty campaigns fulltime: unrealistic????
by
nestorjacob
on 23/07/2018, 21:00:17 UTC
This could be worth doing but the danger appears when you only work for scam projects and in the end not get paid and you cannot pay for your daily living such as rent, data bundles, food etc. But If you are lucky and always do your due diligence before working for bounty projects that are legit and always get paid, then this is great to do.

Re: Are bounty managers to be blamed?
by
nestorjacob
on 20/07/2018, 22:15:03 UTC
Some of the bounty managers only care about the money that they will get from the work that they are going to do without any due diligence about the project and in the end, most hunters waste their energy to promote a scam project. Tokensuite, led by ''need money'' was the county manager for the uchit project and many hunters are not very happy with him right now. Some are blaming him for not conducting due diligence about that project.

Re: Gold to reach new all time high of $2400/ounce
by
nestorjacob
on 20/07/2018, 22:04:17 UTC
This means that one bitcoin is expensive than the all-time mineral that people cherish so much for ages from our ancestors until date. It makes me to think that the digital gold is more expensive and powerful than gold. This is one of the reasons I think, Digital gold can be moved across borders in just second but the traditional gold cannot move at that top speed so the digital gold is more expensive.
