Re: BYTEBALL: Totally new consensus algorithm + private untraceable payments

Quick question. Does this wallet have to run from C:\Program Files? I am getting blank screen running it from D:\Program Files (x86)

Thanks

No.  Why not run the installer and have it handle everything for you?

I let the installer run and just changed the destination now getting an error when I inspect the wallet screen. Will reinstall see what happens.

edit: Reinstall worked. Transaction bot is silent. Will try again in the morning to link BTC and BB.

According to FAQ longer than 7 days more than 0.001 and payout will occur, so far 2 weeks at 0.008 and nothing yet. And is it normal that numbers just stay put if you stop mining for a bit even with payouts and un-exchanged values?

sorry if this has already been answered but..  If i only buy 1 unit of the Gridseed, do I still need the "wiibox" controller, power supply, and USB hub?  Or can it be driven directly from my computer?

Technically you can run all of these off of a computer....the wiibox allows you to not need a computer is all (ala running it off a Rasberry Pi).

so Zotac computer would be good enough? For example A-10 nano?

Can you hit me up with it as well? Thanks.

Anyone got decent example of vertcoin.conf for p2pool? Do I need rpcport specified or is it enough to have 4 lines in there like bitcoin p2pool guide with some nodes?

0.3 Windows QT can't establish any connections to update. I've tried adding the nodes manually and nothing changes.

Hi, try the nodes on the first post. I tested out the new QT downloaded the entire block-chain from scratch worked ok. Also see : https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=360255.msg4308107#msg4308107

No Mac QT at the moment guys.

Thanks
Sphere

That worked and solo mining hit one block. Not bad.

I have couple of questions. I've got 3x7950 running solo mine, now I am seeing A:0 R:0 HW:0 WU:120-150 per card. Am I supposed to see numbers next to A (still new to all of this)? And second question is it even worth bothering to solo mine?

I didn't think there could be worse launch than EAC but here it is. It seems both initial pool and solo mining didn't pay off at all. Pool dropped connection non stop and lost shares and solo mining is rejecting blocks woot! Just in case my address is 5UrBZB8BCR3ZtaQPsrK1wuSo23NyrNwNsT

Not expecting anything out of this coin.

Why have these things tripled in price in last 2 weeks? They are only 10.2GH/s even with Rev.2. I've been watching them on Amazon.com and they went from $237 to $699 and higher every time I had plugged in one of these into any calculator they came up very short of any meaningful ROI.

Re: Show me the numbers! 10k to play with: Mine LTC to convert, mine BTC, or BUY?
by

I've tried all kinds of calculators for mining equipment and all come up with different results. I would get into mining if I knew I'd get at least 90% of the initial investment. One I am very interested in is black arrow both X-1 and X-3 look tempting and seem to be shortest to the market but as everyone said mining hardware is a gamble when it comes to preorders. So right now I am researching and souring every piece of information as to which piece of hardware to go with if I decide to do so(yup very indecisive until moment I commit which has cost me a few opportunities so far but not anymore).
