Thanks, Currently using a Gigabyte 7950 x2 and undervolted, 650kh/s avg and a 6950 at 470kh/s. I don't mine Bitcoin but I've been active with LTC, did some pump+dump with FTC and CNC in the exchanges but I haven't traded coins through this forum. Most of my moneys are on BTC after trading from LTC based on looking at the trends, so the first 20 days of mining till now I did make a profit than just mining straight LTC and the alt-coin section of this forum really helped a lot (now that I've traded and not so much lurking around).

Methinks its total time logged in and posts, but maybe there's a rep counter here somewhere, or based on PMs sent.

This community has been helpful. I traded some 400 WDC for 10 LTC; I mined 2 days worth of Worldcoin at 1700kh/s, and ended up with 10 LTC traded. 10 LTC takes 4 days worth of mining.

Just do your homework, and you'll be confident in doing business in the world of cryptocurrency. I feel less of a noob and more of an adventurer right now.

Be creative. If you wanna build a miner, and have money to lose, go for it. It's thrilling and fun.
Mine an alt-coin: Litecoin is the leader, and when traded to Bitcoins, you get the most bang for your buck.
Get involved: I'm just new here but I joined in the Litecoin forum to help out a pool operator as a beta tester, got lucky, and helped out noobs who had q's about rigs.
Be patient: This is not a get-rich scheme. You devote your time, money, and life with it, depending on how intense you want your mining prospects will be. Gold diggers had themselves or as teams. Sort of the same thing with this from what I understand as a miner (and a noob investor).

I want to trade WDC but I don't think anyone at altcoins will take me seriously being a noob. Though I've been in litecoin forums for a month now; been mining LTC, as well as FTC and CNC (and shamelessly pumped and dumped them for extra profit), and now WDC. To all fellow noobs, do you get confidence and just go for it after the 5 post limit (as in initiating trades and gaining trust), or do you hold back?

Some say if more people would trade their LTC instead of hoarding, or more merchants accept it, then it will increase in value. $20 is just fool's gold.

Hi everyone.
Canadian here, eh? Just got into scrypt mining this weekend, built my first crate rig using a 7950 and a 6950 (and first computer for over a decade after being spoilt by Macs), and got myself up and running mining LTC pools. But since the beginning of the week I learned a lot about alt currencies and I am mining Feathercoins. I like the fun of building a rig, configuring a rig, and watching coins produced by this rig. I hope to gain experience from you all as well as share mine, and have fun doing it. Cheers.
