To verify a payment immediately and without having to download the whole blockchain, you can use the Online Wallet and the mobile app (phones and tablets).
These options are "light" as they do not download the entire Blockchain and allow you to do all of the following:
Create new accounts
receive money
send money
verify that a payment has been received on your account

I want to know what is the fastest way to check a payment with ultrapoints without having to wait for the complete synchronization of the entire blockchain.

The switch to POS is right decision. The coin was mined by small group of miners + several dumpers (the main reason to cancel POW mining). Most of the community will lose nothing and maybe even earn with POS.
When switch to PoS will happen?

1) Quark algo - suitable only for ASICS mining - good point to get rid of small dumpers
2) Huge centralization of the coins but first biggest accounts belongs to exchange => cold wallets are almost not used except to start MN and rather passive coin owners.

The nxb platform has interesting goals, but I don't have enough information to get a full picture of the project! In any case, I want to wish the team success!
