Re: You can SHOP at Amazon and eBay with BITCOIN

Greetings earthlings Smiley

Probably you will agree that the year 2018 for Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies was not the most successful year.
There are a lot of different reasons for this and from the main ones is that bitcoin and cryptocurrency did not advance to the masses and not used in the everyday life of people.
But everything can change in 2019.
Imagine how convenient it would be if you could make purchases at Amazon and eBay with Bitcoin and cryptocurrency.
Now we have this opportunity!

Bitstore.tech - First crypto shopping platform

More information you can find on the project website http://bitstore.tech

Short promo video: https://youtu.be/slRAR2kmfoY

These places are not actually cryptocurrency.  They are using a 3rd party that instantly converts the bitcoin t ofiat.  I would be more impressed if merchants were willing to actually hold bitcoin which would show a great faith in the entire ecosystem.

Yes, the merchants don't hold on to BTC, but at least this enables us to not have to cash out to fiat.  We can hold BTC, knowing that we can now spend it and not go back to fiat.

If I can buy my TV with BTC that would be great.  Mr. Porter and ASOS for clothes is great too.

I have never faced such issue with bittrex. Everything working good for us. You need to contact support. Bittrex has made some changes in placing orders. Please go-through the guidelines.

LOL, I have gone through support.  it has been sitting in their queue unanswered for 7 days.

I think you having to repeat enhance verification again triggered a suspicion on your account. My trade including deposit and withdraw has been very smooth on bittrex. You may have to wait for them to sort you out.

Probably.  I haven been using Bittrex for over a year with no problems.  I am not the only one, look at that Reddit post.

I'm currently using bittrex and this is alarming. Though I haven't experience this and I do not want this ever to happen to me. Maybe OP shouldn't have tried to do enhanced verification again since he has already done it the first time, maybe it is the reason why your account was frozen. I wish you recover your very account soon.

That's exactly what happened.  In hindsight the site was acting buggy and I shouldn't have done it again, but I needed to move funds to Binance to buy something I felt was going to moon soon (and it did).

However, getting locked up for almost 7 days now with no end in sight is terrible.

Imagine not being able to trade (buy/sell) or withdraw any of your money.  It is just frozen.  Imagine seeing your holding of BTC/NEO/whatever drop and not being able to do anything about it.  Imagine seeing a good technical indicator and knowing something is going to moon and not being able to buy it.

Yikes. Looks like it's time for me to move my funds from Bittrex to Binance.
There has just been a recent post on Reddit about a user having his account locked with like a hundred thousand dollars worth on his account.

Bittrex / Disabled Locking 120,000$ Inside.
| Not sure if this is really legit though, some comments are calling the poster a fraud.

That's not me, but I have a similar amount locked up.

It has now been over 6 days, close to 7.

Bittrex has been locked for over 5 days...due to suspicious activity
by
newtybar
on 04/12/2017, 04:09:07 UTC
My account got disabled/locked because it was flagged for suspicious activity.  During the first night where BTC hit 11k, there was high volume and Bittrex was being glitchy.  For some reason it made me do the enhanced verification again to transfer BTC.  I did it and then it said I had already done enhanced with this ID and froze my account.

I have sent in a support ticket, which has been unanswered for over 5 days...however I sent in another ticket and someone responded telling me not to create multiple tickets and that it was going to cause a slowdown for my other ticket review.  Not sure why they had the time to review that one but not answer my original one.

I cannot trade, withdraw or really do anything.  It is completely frozen.

That night when it hit 11k, I wanted to tether.  I could have tethered and re-bought at 9k.  I was also trying to move 1 BTC to Binance to trade BQX, which went up 30% since then.

Being locked up is costing me a lot of money and frankly is scary.

Has anyone experienced this?

Thanks.

I believe people who bought the A5 were supposed to get an A4?

No one has answered the question.

What is the point of having it be accepted "everywhere" if the fees are too high for most day to day transactions?

I can imagine buying a car or television in BTC, but can't imagine it being used at a local restaurant right now.

I would say XVG is better with regards to tech, but they don't know how to market themselves.

Monero has larger adoption rate so I suppose that means something.

Yes, but for the moment, the price has been steadily declining for several weeks. I wonder when the value will increase.
It would be beneficial to have more marketing from the VGX team, which would motivate investors by seeing progress.

Fell out of top 100 in market cap.  That's not so good of news.

They are bad at marketing.

One of my local hotdogs vendors plan to accept bitcoin. They open on the street. I can imagine that the big sign "bitcoin accepted here" hanging on street and every person passing by will look at it.

Why would I buy a $2.00 USD hotdog in BTC, which would cost me an additional $5.00 in fees?

I think there is only room for one crypto coin to be accepted in payment systems for the next few years,,
Bitcoin has already infrastructure and most popular than eth,,
I see no reason why shops should do the additional work for accepting another crypto currency,,
Eth/etc is something for traders, while bitcoin is something for users

Not until the price/cost per transaction reduces.

I am not paying a $4.00 USD fee to buy a $3.00 USD cup of coffee with BTC.

Are you serious?? So you made close to $30k from 3 L3's?? Am I reading this correct??

Op are you talking about the "L3"?

The other user is talking about the "L3+"

Either one tbh - Wow im very surprised! Reason I ask is to figure whether I should get some of the Dash miners theyre planning on releasing. Seems like the answer is "get as many as you can" lol. Still flabbergasted by your numbers guys...thought the difficulty would have messed up the payouts, but it seems not!

DASH is a different animal.  It's already on the fifth or sixth batch, including all the competitor miners.  Difficulty increase is going to skyrocket since it was so thin before.

That being said... I got a D3 and an Innosilicon lol.

Was involved in first batch on hashnest, wish I got 100.

Expectations were met and them some.  Don't have the nice hash option on hashnest, but still earning 0.53 LTC per day per machine.  Was earning 1.0 - 1.2 LTC daily for a good month and a half.  Then dropped to 0.75 for a few weeks...and now at 0.53.

I find that if you can get in the first 2 batches of anything new, it usually works out.

Yeah I think Bitmain has a pretty good reputation, they sell thousands and you don´t hear a lot
of bad experiences.
They say on their website, that you have to pay within 1h after you completed your order,
otherwise the system can´t confirm your payment due to the high volume.

In that case you have to contact the support.

You probably won't make your money back with this batch.

I've read your posts carefully and honestly i really just dont think you understand the project. I think you have a lot of misconceptions.

First of all, 100% of businesses need sufficient capital or they fold. There's nothing unique about that from gigawatt - that's universal. If (name any company ever) didn't raise sufficient capital they would fold.

Second, they are not raising capital from the miners. They raised capital from their WTT token ICO, which already completed and raised over $20,000,000 in capital. That's exactly what pays for the "facilities, electricity, ongoing maintenance, staff" you point out. Where did you think the money came from? Yes, I had to invest in their WTT token ICO in order to have the right to host my own miners (which i own and ordered directly from Bitmain) at the brand new gigawatt facilities, which were built and funded from their ICO and token sale. The numbers add up perfectly. Because I gave gigawatt substantial funds up front, I now have access to 3.3c/kwh electricity and use of their mining facilities. the difference in electricity costs alone will pay for the investment in about 4 months.

I guess they could just be like "HAHA JK IM TAKING YOUR MONEY LOL" but that's not a reasonable fear or suspicion. When you buy a candy bar, are you suspicious it will actually be a turd under the wrapper? There's no logical reason for this other than the fact that it theoretically COULD happen.

I do get what you're asying about the front loaded costs. yes that is true, but again, thats exactly what their value proposition is: pay us up front and then recoup that cost in ultra-cheap electricity costs (and some other benefits like on-site maintenance of miners if needed).

And ultimately, if i don't like gigawatt, I can always go grab my miners, take them back home to mine, and then rent out or sell my WTT tokens.

It alllllll makes sense man.

Exactly, the WTT ICO paid for their capital expenditures to build out the facility.

That was stated up front.

Not sure why this is considered "shady."

Now that the ICO is over.  I don't have enough WTT for the last miner I purchased and they stated I will have to pay the rental fee and electricity, which equates to 10 cents per KWH.
