Additionally, the topic here was about AI and copy cat, so hoping the case is now resolved, I kindly ask you to delete this post as well and restore the rating that was taken away from me. Thank you.

irrelevant maybe for you, not for the other people who are checking every word I wrote on my post, and as I said many times i've not promoted any scam, I was just asking a question about a legit website (not phishing)

LOL this is NOT a "legit website". Its clearly a scam. First of all, "solo mining" refers to mining on your own computer, using your own hardware. You can't "solo mine" via a website where you have no idea what is actually going on behind the scenes.

Also, the website says the "averaging hashrate" is 4 GH/s... Meanwhile the bitcoin network hash rate is 815,022,762,708 GH/s. This means your chance of ever finding a block at that hash rate is almost zero. Literally 0.0000000005% chance per block. That means you will "validate" about 1 in every 2 billion blocks, which is the same thing as never.

So yeah collecting money for this - even if they do what they are advertising (which you have no way of actually knowing) - is highly scammy.

Seems like even asking a simple question gets you judged without any real reason

Seems you bought an account to promote a scam and you're mad it turned out to be a waste of money.

The answer you're giving me had already been given to me, and as far as I was concerned, that was the end of it, in fact, I had concluded by saying that I would use a NerdMiner. What I don't understand is all the fuss that was made about my post. I asked a question, you answered, and I had already moved on.

Also, the site actually allows you to verify the mining activity since it relies on external pools, so you keep replying without really knowing what you're talking about. I know it because I'm still using this service but it doesn't mean I am a promoter. It doesn’t seem any different from a NerdMiner or every other solo mining device to me, so are all devices made for solo mining considered scams now due to their low chances? You use solo mining devices for free and is it a scam selling those devices? I can't get the point of your comment.

You keep insisting on the promoter thing, but it’s not fair to blindly bash something you don’t even know. If you don’t know what you’re talking about, then don’t talk about it, or if you do want to talk about it, at least take the time to do some research first. That’s how it works in real life. Also because your arguments contradict themselves

For your big issue with AI, did you know it can also be used to translate conversations into another language for people who aren't fluent in English?

Irrelevant as your red tag is for promoting a scam and not using AI. You were noticed because of your use of AI, then it was noticed that you are using AI to promote a scam. So you would have eventually been red tagged anyway. Using AI to write your posts for you just hastened the process of you being exposed as a scam promoter.

irrelevant maybe for you, not for the other people who are checking every word I wrote on my post, and as I said many times i've not promoted any scam, I was just asking a question about a legit website, and other people where commenting until someone posted an ai generated post with a scam link, if other people had promoted a scam that's not my fault, should be a moderator fault.

If asking about a legit website is illegal here, or subject to every paranoid check possible that end with the word scam then ok, now I know.

If you have my original posts deleted and remove any evidence that could prove otherwise, then of course everyone will side with you. What do you want from me? I don’t understand. Are you missing someone to tell you how great you are at playing detective? Well, from my point of view, you’re not because you keep insisting on a false idea. You are linking both posts to me even though I had already explained in the other post (the one you asked to be removed) that it’s not like that. If someone decided to use my post to promote themselves or make phishing (like you said), that’s not my problem.
Anyway, I’ve already wasted enough time on this whole story, do whatever you want. If you’re happy with that, good for you.

maybe the op and the copycat are bad.

close to the same posts.

Hi, I simply asked for information about a website, just wanted to know if anyone was familiar with it. Where exactly did I go wrong? If others have responded in a way that doesn’t match your expectations, that doesn’t mean there’s some kind of conspiracy going on. I don’t understand why you keep commenting without adding any real value to this post, just criticism and accusations.
Anyway I’m well aware of all the scams related to cloud mining, where fake revenues are distributed, but this site doesn’t distribute anything because it’s about solo mining. So again, why are you even intervening if you don’t know what you’re talking about?

I don’t want to start a flame war, but please stop with the accusations or false assumptions. I simply asked for an opinion. If you want to reply, stick to the topic otherwise, just move on. Thanks.

Thank you all for your responses. I reviewed the suggestions you provided, and while they're interesting, the costs are beyond my reach. Sad I understand that you have higher hashrate but it requires more investment too. I'll settle for a NerdMiner, just knowing that I'm participating in mining, even in a small way, is enough for me. Thanks again to everyone!

Thanks a lot for your reply! I'm not promoting this site, I just came across it through a google ad and wanted to see if anyone had experience with it. Since solo mining services are rare, I just was curious about how it actually works and if it’s a viable option. I decided to test it by signing up for 1 day plan, I noticed that it allows switching between different pools, including Public Pool, and it seems to be mining there....it seems it's working...

Thanks for your reply! From what I know, transaction fees are paid by the sender when making a transaction, and the miner who finds the block receives the full block reward plus all the transaction fees included in that block. Usually, solo mining pools take a small percentage as a fee for providing the service, but in a true solo mining scenario, the miner should get everything. At least, that's how I understood it.
I checked their website again regarding fees, and they state that if you use their pool, you don’t have to pay any additional fees, of course only if you actually find a block! 😊
Are there any other solo mining services out there that work similarly? I wonder if findtheblock is the only one offering this kind of setup, thanks

Hi,
I stumbled upon a website called Find The Block https://findtheblock.com that offers solo mining for Bitcoin with a fixed 2 GH/s hashrate for different time periods. Their claim is that if you validate a block, you keep the full 3.125 BTC reward (minus the network fee, I guess).
The prices seem low (€1.99 for a day, €4.99 for a week, etc.), and it looks like a simple way to try solo mining without needing expensive hardware. But I’m wondering if it’s actually worth it or if it’s just another cloud mining scheme.
From my understanding, solo mining with only 2 GH/s has an extremely low probability of hitting a block, but I wanted to hear from others before dismissing it.
Has anyone here tried it?
Do you think a service like this has any real potential?
Could it be a legit way to test solo mining, or is it just a waste of money?
Looking forward to your thoughts. Thanks!
