This is probably a good thing...miners shouldn't have received that preferential treatment anyway.

All sorts of individuals involved with central banks will downplay Bitcoin.

Why wouldn't they?

They know that blockchain will allow crypto to be more efficient than fiat.  They want to slow the process so that they can profit for themselves and their companies, and prolong the inevitable.

You have to detach your emotions from your investments, on some level.

Hard to deny the influence, but one thing is for sure: China cracking down on crypto won't change the fact that blockchain will change the world.

The ironic part is that half of China's banks use blockchain technology while the government cracks down on ICOs, haha

The banks there are threatened, plain and simple.

Re: Warren Buffett starts investing in start-ups

Warren Buffet is not even an "opponent" of bitcoin. Warren Buffet, Charlie Munger, Nouriel Roubini, and similar people are merely just background noise for bitcoin and cryptocurrencies in general.

Would that change their mind on their opinions regarding bitcoin and cryptocurrencies in general? It's highly unlikely in my opinion. I don't think investors like Warren Buffet likes "investing" in stuff that are high-risk, as I'm pretty sure he has a hard time on trying to understand bitcoin and cryptocurrencies in the first place.

Didn't he infamously call bitcoin "rat poison"?

This would not lead to a "coin war" as bitcoin going up in value would mean that individuals in many countries get rich...

Cryptocurrency Content Writer/Copywriter
by
ngm22585
on 29/10/2018, 22:01:30 UTC
I am an experienced cryptocurrency writer, and I have undoubtedly written for websites that you have read if you keep up with cryptocurrency.  Of course, I can show proof of this.

I have also copywritten for many cryptocurrency projects, and my clients know me as someone who can create a large amount of quality material within a short period of time.

I have revised whitepapers, written light papers, and would like to transition into writing white papers, but I am open to writing about blockchain/crypto in general, of course.

Please PM me - I am more affordable than most.

Thanks.

Re: Regarding Bull runs and speculations
by
ngm22585
on 29/10/2018, 04:02:01 UTC
Im curious as to why many people "hope" for a bull run? How is this bull run gunna happen if everyone is hoping for a bull run.

I essentially think the mega run was last year, why would any new money come into it after what happened last year? People saw the rise and the crazy fall and loss it does. No one is in it for technology its all about wanting to get rich. I don't see how people think a bull run is coming..

Care to help me understand how you think this?

All i see in crypto is PURE speculation and everyone will agree with ANYTHING that helps them secure there beliefs in there own investment.

"Why would any new money come into it after what happened last year"

This is the equivalent of asking why anyone would invest in Netflix/Amazon/Apple after they have seen so much success over the years?

The answer is that there is still potential for profit.

To be fair, no one should be doing any type of transaction meet-up involving crypto.

Here is an example of where the victim either told too many people about his net worth, or simply had some bad luck:
