I think it is never too late to invest in the future, as crypto IS the future
It is always good to invest some of your income, maybe just 10%, and be patient. But it is best not to invest more than you can afford to lose guys.

FOMO and FUD affects the price greatly
But don't forget the Whales controlling and manipulating the market. They create Pump and Dump, especially in small Alts market.

Ahhh, the Mt Gox dude is still selling off his holding. And mainstream media is spreading FUD like crazy. We can expect the price to be down for a couple of months. But i think things will get brighter later this year.

I like to do trading in my free times because it is generally more profitable.
But sometimes holding gives much more return, especially when some of my coin suddenly jumped 2x 3x overnight.

Trading too much can get you addicted and if you get overconfident, you can lose a lot of money on losing trades.
And it is very very bad for physical and mental health too.

As long as there are supply and demands, things will always have value.
Why do you thing paper money have any value? It is just paper, you can not eat it. Bitcoin is just the same.

 

Many people think bitcoin is blockchain 1.0 and ethereum is blockchain 2.0. But i think it is just the points they made to sell the coins which claim to be 2.0 or 3.0 to the people new to crypto, because it will sound like those coins are more advanced than bitcoin. But i tell you this:

Bitcoin maybe old, but it is one of the most well developed coins out there, and has been tested for the longest. If some crypto claims to be better than bitcoin or ether, or going to be the next bitcoin, look for the reason behind that claim. Is the tech that advanced? Is the idea realistic?

My only concern is that dev team stayed anonymous, but it is fine as long as they keep up with their road map.

Lightning network is now testing on main net with number of channels growing dramatically.  This will solve the scalability problem soon.

As for adoption, it comes after the scalability issue. In the past we have seen some services no longer accept bitcoin payment be cause of fee and confirmation time, but when that problem is solved, nothing can stop bitcoin anymore.

The government can ban bitcoin, in fact, we are seeing that battle right now. If they really want to ban it and go really harsh on cryptocurrencies, we will see another bloom in the anonymous-type coins for sure, and maybe bitcoin can adopt some more privacy technologies like those of Zcash or Monero

Why not? This is a great opportunity to buy bitcoin and even altcoins. Altcoins have suffered bigger loss than BTC and they can promise a huge gain in the future.
About bitcoin, lightning network is here on main net, although we are only in testing phase but the growth of lightning nodes and payment channel is fast! Transaction fee and time issues will be solved very soon.

My biggest mistake so far is that i have ignored it for so long. I knew about cryptocurrencies since 2015, but didn't buy any because i was too lazy to get any of my account verified....
And just last month i decided to get my ID verified on every exchange i could find , lol )))

Drugs should be legalized.

I asked about the team and the mods said most of the team have chosen to be anonymous, given the fact that it is a heavily anonymous coin, i can understand that. However, the team always deliver, and everything has been going smoothly, half of the road map have been completed with Deep Vault, Tor, and now Deep Send and Vote Central almost ready.

Price under 1$ doesn't mean the coin is cheap. You should look at market cap and supply also. Cheap coin = low market cap.

It will hit 20k maybe just in a few weeks. And in the long term, 1-2 years or so, i think the price will be ridiculous.
But not everyone will get their profits. Week hands  will likely be left out, as well as greedy folks who invest in scam and crappy projects.

And being decentralized or not does not mean much. Take a look at Ripple. It is Centralized af, and people are still going crazy about it.

And Spacechain, hmmm good luck to you. The idea is good, but not practical at the moment. You can hope to earn some good profit because it will likely be hyped, but not for the long run.

Nope, i believe no happiness can last forever and is not the main goal of life. Life has no goal, except for life itself.

  Trading is very hard and you could easily lose money and time by trading. If you want to trade, start with small amount, about 1% of your portfolio

And why ICO lending? There are tons of good projects instead of those evil ponzi schemes. Simply holding BTC, ETH, LTC or NEO, NEM ... any top high quality coins is already highly profitable.

Because of the China and Korea ban, created fear and there seems to be many weakhands. After seeing the bullish market last month, maybe a lot of new people get involved in crypto market, the inexperience lead to panic sell. Don't worry, the price will be back soon.

Bloodbath like this is very common in the crypto world, you can make huge profits during this time by buying cheap coins, or play it safe: just HODL>
