Hi guys,

I've mined Shift at the beginning and stored all my coin in Shift wallet v0.9.3/ Shift 0.4.0. How can I get my coin back? Please advice. Thank you very much.

If you missed the coinswap when SHIFT changed from ETHs fork (POW) to LISKs fork (DPOS) there is nothing that can be done.

I forgot all about SHIFT because I did not mine anymore. However, I still have about 30k Shift in my old wallet. Now, it is just for fun. So sad

Go PM if you want recover your SHIFT. I await your prompt reply.

Whatever this guy is offering you it is 100% a scam. You've been warned.

I know, seriously the guy as an Activity: 1, what a joke.

Shift's admin on Facebook said that the old chain was dead. Can't swap it. However, Ralf S, Shift's admin on Ryver said that he lost contact with Crush, the man in charge this project. So, Ralf S cannot verify who swapped or not. He has to wait the swap history from Crush, but Crush has been unactived for months.

how to mine this in solo?

That's what I was wondering, for Ubuntu.

i'm asking because supernova pool seems not paying correctly

Yes i suspected that too because my hashrate is above 120M when i mine ETH but the hash rate seems incorrect when mining shift on Supernova as it is showing under 60M. This is almost half reduced and the payout does not seem correct.

I'm getting  anywhere from 50M to 90M when mining shift on Supernova with one 7990 and a r390

I have 3 x 7950 and 2 x R9 380 Nitro OC but I am shocked to see my Hash rate is under 60M on the pool when mining SHIFT

Why don't you solo mine? You have more than enough hash power.

can anyone post a working bat for a 750 ti ? ive searched high and low and only find discussions about the various issues with it . (the 750 ti)
my current batch is  ethminer.exe -F http://eth1.nanopool.org:8888/0x"walletaddress" -G.
i cant tell if im actually minining. never says accepted share or whatever. and slows my pc to a semi freeze.
anyone know whats wrong?

It won't work in Windows base. You have to run in Linux and use "-U" instead of "-G" to get the best result.

Trying to install dependencies using this https://github.com/ethereum/webthree-umbrella/wiki/Building-on-Ubuntu guide.

I get this error:
Quote
Unpacking libcryptopp-dev (5.6.2-0~trusty6) ...
dpkg: error processing archive /var/cache/apt/archives/libcryptopp-dev_5.6.2-0~trusty6_amd64.deb (--unpack):
trying to overwrite '/usr/lib/libcryptopp.so', which is also in package libcrypto++-dev 5.6.1-6+deb8u1build0.14.04.1
dpkg-deb: error: subprocess paste was killed by signal (Broken pipe)
Errors were encountered while processing:
 /var/cache/apt/archives/libcryptopp-dev_5.6.2-0~trusty6_amd64.deb
E: Sub-process /usr/bin/dpkg returned an error code (1)

Everything installed nicely on two other ubuntu 14.04 computers, but this third one gets that error and won't install. Can anyone give me some ideas on how to solve it?

I don't know what the problem is. However, you can clone this rig from another ones that has already done. It is fast and safe.

Did it, thanks, it worked  Grin
How did you clone it, tried clonezilla for my rigs but can't get that to work.

I use ssd drives, is there an was Ubuntu way to clone the os ssd to another connected via sata?

I do use Clonezilla USB boot to clone my Windows or Ubuntu rig. It's never failed me. I setup OS, drivers, ethminer, ccminer... on my 32Gb SSD. Then connect a second SSD (>=32Gb), plug-in my Clonezilla USB, and wait about 10 minutes. That's all.

AMD rig is better atm.

Base on what I have:

HD 7950: 23-25Mhs stock-overclock
GTX750ti: 10.5Mhs overclock
GTX960: 11Mhs
GTX970: 18Mhs

Which catalyst version do you use for 7950? Which Windows version, ethminer version and frequency for the core/memory.

Windows 7 64 bit
Ethminer-opencl-0.9.41
Catalyst newest version (15.xx) on a website and run 6xGPU_mod to get more than 4 cards on Windows 7

I do undervolt and do not overclock because the rig will stop sometime after 4-5 hours. Don't use Windows 8.1 or 10 if you mine Ether. You'll get a lot of problem.

Is Ethereum's mining algorithm GPU or ASIC minable? Sorry for the noob question, but I'm pretty confused with this "Dagger Hashimoto" algorithm. Also, isn't there an Ethereum mining calculator around? Thanks  Smiley

http://badmofo.github.io/ethereum-mining-calculator/

http://etherscan.io/ether-mining-calculator

Great! Thanks for sharing this information. I guess this clears all my doubts. There is one more thing, though: Which would be a better GPU to mine Ether with? Nvidia or AMD?  Huh

We are now at the dump phase. 11k sat means 35 BTC whole worth of Soil wich is funny. It take it plase soon, probably 50k is a realistic price when dev share his future plans.
For now I prefer to buy, it is cheaper than mining, no costs. Weak hands will fill my pockets as always. Smiley

Don't bother, 7K satoshi now, to be honest I think the whole marketcap of this fork should be 0 satoshi in order to be fair. There are no development plans. Just yet another useless fork and "developers" (don't call them developers) don't even know why the hell they pushed fork button on github. Currently this crap in a big decline and miners will hop back to ethereum causing network to die. We all will forget it within a week, just like Shift and Expanse shit dead.

ETH is a technology, not a currency at all, well maybe just with in-game currency. There are full time paid developers with skills working on a project, how 2 anonymous devs are going to handle fork is questionable. Seriously, why yet another fork if there is already system working and backed by huge funds? The biggest thing they can do is periodic pulling from main repo.

You both said that are ready to buy it, can you tell me how much coins you already bought?

PS: 2 words about "community". Soil community consist of several newbie accounts that are "excited about future of this coin", such shills are excited in every thread in this shithole. And almost forgot, it also consist of several farmers waiting to sell their instamine.

Wow. Nothing to say because I am a newbie.

how long does it take to sync the wallet?because mine is syncing for hour.
Can't resolve it either. I see my coins in the block explorer yet nothing has shown up in my wallet? Can someone point me to the thread that explains how to receive coins sent from the pool. wallet running and looks sync'd
Any thoughts

It is very hard to tell exactly what the problem is. For me, I backup all keystores and wallets, then reinstall Windows.
Oh maybe because my wallet is Soilsafe 0.9.2.

is soil_win64_v5_alpha the latest OP might need updating

Maybe. This is a download link from page 1 for Windows https://mega.nz/#!V0ISlAAA!giF3QnP14E8OqQsi6QGVWzEy5qXrWXNJHt3UGiqG0Ck

I used that file before but it did not sync. So, I reinstalled Windows and the problem was fixed.
